Tell me about Liberty Tree Tavern

We ate here for the first time this past August and we just loved it! My DGDs were so impressed that they made sure that the LTT is first on our list of resturants for next August!

PS. The green beans were the hit of the meal with the girls. They ate two bowls of them!

We ate there in February and really enjoyed it. That was one of the first reservations we made for our trip in a couple of weeks. The character interaction is fantastic. They all came to our table at least twice.

We've been there twice and the food isn't that great at all. The LTT itself is nice though. I like the decor of the place.

DH and I are going to the October 8th (my 25th birthday) MNSSHP and made reservations for LTT.
I've never been there and want to know what others think about it. Like how is the food?
The girl at Guest Relations at MK told us that the characters would be dressed in Halloween costumes. Which characters are there?

just to add another voice to the favorable chorus... and, as previously stated: the character set is Minnie, Chip and Dale, Goofy and Pluto. Not sure what the Halloween costumes will be this year; Mickey appears to be garbed in Carnivale dress.

LTT is one of our fave restaurants.

The dinner at LTT is sponsored by Stouffers. I personally like it and usually go once a trip. The character interaction is good and on my last trip there each came around twice. We were also able to watch a little boy at a nearby table get very excited to have the characters come around...it was adorable.

Anyone who has gone recently (like in the past couple of months), is the honey butter back? Oh I really hope so!

The butter we had on Sept 28th had a sweet taste to it, so I would assume the honey butter is back. It was sooo good with the rolls..

The whole meal was good and the setting was very nice. Personally, I would skip the mashed potatoes and gorge on the stuffing. Like you said, this restaurant is sponsored by Stouffers and they seem to make sure it tastes great. The gravy was very good too.

Also, as the Unofficial Guide points out, if you eat there around the time Spectromagic is going on, the elevated walkway in front of the restaurant is a great vantage point for the parage.

You know the mashed potatoes were so good when we were there, and I am very picky about my potatoes. I don't usually care for dressing either but I even ate a small portion it was good.

We ate there September 8th and enjoyed ourselves. I have some mobility issue (can walk some but it is hard and stairs are really tough) and hated the fact I had to go upstairs to the restroom but other than that it was good. The menu had steak, turkey, mashed potatos and gravy, rolls, mac & cheese, and everyone got cobbler/ice cream for dessert. It was one of the best character TS meals we had (we loved Crystal Palace the best out of all character dinners)! The characters come around frequently... there was Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale, and Mickey. The only drawback (besides upstairs restroom) is it seems a bit crowded, you are really close to other diners but it is not horrible or anything, just close! We would go back in a heartbeat! :goodvibes

Thanks for the responses, everyone! We're ready to try it! We'll be dining there in 3 days!
