Tell me about Kona

Can someone tell me about this restaurant. Would kids like this restaurant and is this considered very good just as Ohana. We do have a ressie for Ohana also. I was looking online and it showed some type of big ice cream cones on a dessert bar???? Is that what it is and is this included in the free dining meal. Also are there any extras on the table such as bread, appetizers like Ohana, anything?
I am looking for a good place to eat on our last night.

While the food at Kona is quite good, I have never had even adequate service there in 3 meals. In December, it was so bad we talked to the manager, who did nothing to address the problems. After all of that, it took 30 minutes and three tries to get the check.

Our experience at Kona has been great. We've had excellent service and food there.

We've always had great meals at Kona and great service! I think kids would enjoy it especially the desserts. I've heard such bad things about Ohana that it's not even on my list of possabilities, but Kona is someplace we go to every trip!

Kona is YUM!! Our favorites on the menu are the sticky wings and the Kona Kone for dessert! The kone is yummy and there are some pictures of it somewhere on this board.

Does anyone know if the lunch is as good as dinner. I wouldnt think so but the only availabilities are lunch. Also are the sticky wings included and do you get the bread for lunch or just at dinner.

Great meals and service. Love the sticky wings and crab cakes! YUM!

Lunch and Dinner are both good, pretty similar.

We really liked it when we ate there back in January. Me and DH got the teriyake steak and it was very good! I was disappointed in the chocolate fondue for dessert as I think the fondue at the Grand Floridian Cafe is better. The only thing I could say was negative would be the noise level filtering over from people waiting to eat there and Ohanas but other than that we really enjoyed it!

I love Kona and eat there every trip. My favorites are the sticky wings, almond crusted chicken and the chocolate/banana creme brulee. The bread they serve is out of this world too!

We ate lunch there twice this past trip and loved it both times. My DD loved the mickey ravioli and the adult entrees were great. Service was good both time; actually great the 2nd time. Definitely recommend it.
