So due to conflicting work schedules, DH will not be able to drive with me from NC to CT to see the family. I had to book DD and I a flight for 6/6...haha, neither of us have flown in 9 years due to DH will not step foot on a plane! I had such a headache last night getting everything straight, figuring out where to park at airport and renting a car at JFK.. I hope I made the right choice. The tickets were the right price and I couldn't wait any longer as airfares are rising and my trip is less than 2 weeks away. I was wondering if anyone had any comments on seating, wifi, complimentary snacks/drinks on Jetblue..

Also if anyone has any comments about Charlotte airport (CLT)---I have never been there, plan on getting there 2 hours before flight. Not sure how large it is, seems big. The largest airport I have ever been in is O'Hare which was a nightmare, thank god for a cooperative 3.5 yo in a stroller!!!

Thanks ! As much as we know we made the right decision to move.... I have missed his family in CT and I am looking forward to going back for few days.

The subject of your thread was, "Tell me about JetBlue." Do you have questions about JetBlue, or are you just seeking information abou the CHarlotte airport?

Jet Blue is fine. Get an "Extra Space" seat so you'll be more comfortable. I saw an older couple walk off an airplane shortly before take-off once because they hadn't flown in a long time, and weren't prepared for how cramped the regular economy seating had become on airplanes. The man was too claustrophobic. If you can get seats at the very front row, that's the best as no one will recline into your space.

Unfortunately, already bought seats and didn't want to pay total of $50 extra for those seats as I will need that money for Long term parking. Oh well, I think we will be fine, besides, flight is less than 2 hours.

Just was wondering if I made a good choice with JetBlue... The Charlotte airport was an afterthought just in case anyone knew anything about it.

Sorry, I can't comment on either airport you're flying from/to, but we flew on JetBlue last November with absolutely no problems. We flew from Buffalo to MCO, and we're doing the same thing again in July. They have beverages and food that you can order (and pay for) from a little menu, but they also came around with drinks (coffee/tea/soda/juice) and quite a selection of snacks that were complementary. Seating was fairly standard, but no complaints there. Didn't use the WiFi, but each seat had a TV in the headrest. Our flight was mid-afternoon and we didn't have any delays, so that was a bonus.

Thanks...I just hope everything goes smoothly. I am nervous already and we still have 12 days before we leave. This will be my 5th time flying, 3rd time for DD. Thanks for the info !

My father used to travel extensively on business and LOVED JetBlue (he is extremely picky). They have plenty of space and run efficiently, at a polite price.

My understanding is all seats have a TV in the head rest, making a flight go by quite quickly.

Now that I'm sitting here thinking about it...I'm not sure what is giving me more anxiety: The flight or driving Federal Circle in NY. I'm an experienced driver but not so much in NYC.
It's unfortunate that DH's uncle is unable to pick us up.

Used to fly into CLT when I would visit my Dad in Charlotte. Coming from Newark, CLT felt like a tiny airport compared to EWR.

When it comes to airlines, JetBlue is the exclusive airline we use. I will say it's disappointing they no longer give you a free bag. Also the prices for Even More Space seems to have skyrocketed. I remember it being usually no more than 15-20$ surcharge on top of your fare, but when I booked flights for September it would've been 67 bucks for an Even More Space seat. Then again, being someone who is short, both me and my GF don't find the seats uncomfortable or not having enough leg room.

Thanks!! That makes me feel better☺

can you fly into bradley instead? instead of JFK for CT? I personally hate driving NYC so I choose other places

Oohhh trust me that was the first thing I tried..but nope, they do not. I am familiar with JFK that's why I chose it. Ugh...good times, sure I'll be fine just psyching myself out.

We used to fly JB pretty much exclusively. The extra legroom was cheap and gave you expedited security too and luggage was free. Unfortunately, they are now priced above what I want to pay! We really loved the TV's and snacks! Also, I still like to travel through Charlotte. Smaller airport with fewer delays.

I checked all the major airlines and JB had them all beat $100-300. Even Southwest within 2 days of me first checking the price went up $200.
