For quite a long time now, my dream has been to see Disney around Christmas time. I love Christmas and I love Disney so its only natural for me to want this...
I just got back from a 7 day land and sea vacation to the World and I was left wanting so much more magic after only 3 nights on land. So I thought that I would take another trip this December. I know that it is usually busy around Thanksgiving and the week that schools are off so I thought that a long weekend (12/9 to 12/12) in the beginning of the month would be good.
How are the crowds at this time? Will I get to see all the Holiday things (parades lights decorations) and am I crazy to go on a second trip this year? Tell me what you think.

It's the MOST wonderful time of the year!
All the holiday "stuff" (Osborne, parades, etc.) is in full swing, so you'll get to see it all. Wish we could go this year, but we couldn't pass up the free dining offer so we're going in October. Christmas 2006 I'll be there with the whole family (12 of us) the actual week of Christmas. It'll be fun, but the crowds can be ugly. Your plan of timing is really good. Go and have a GREAT time!
