Our first party! Excited! I've looked, but can't find much info on the QS locations during the party:

I want a couple of the party-specific savory items, my DH does not. Do the QS locations open also serve the regular menu?
Does mobile order work during the party?
Are return times hours in advance or soon?
Is pickup a madhouse?
When do party-specific items become available, and how late are the QS locations open?
If we have APS do we need a park reservation to enter at 2? I might feed DH then.
So many questions. I thought we would just eat before, but that hand pie….

Advice from someone that's been to multiple Halloween Parties (They're my fave!).

Take advantage of the early entry and eat then. B/c you only have so many hours with the party offerings to get things done. Even with crazy good planning, there were some parties that we weren't able to do all we wanted.

Have fun! 🎃

I think we are going to go to Skipper Canteen before, or eat at Epcot and hop in.
But I would still love to know the answers to my questions, as I really would like to try a couple of the party-specific options.

Some quick service locations will be open with the normal menu. I forget if they take mobile order, and they aren't very crowded. You'll be able to get normal hot dogs and chicken tenders.

Many of your questions depend on each party. Every party has a different amount of people at it depending on the tickets sold for each party at that time. We could go twice in a week and have one party where you can't move or get anything done, and another that's not busy.

I know that usually QS is open (I think Casey's and Cosmic Rays are two of them). IIRC the only two TS restaurants open this year for the party are CRT and BOG and they're both by reservation only and the price to dine is not included in your ticket.

I'm not much of a specialty snack person, so I say eat early and avoid meals during the party.

I judge buying snacks in the park by line length. Too long, I skip it.

That is what I will do on the first party I attend. I will just grab a late lunch before I do 4pm entry or grab something QS in the 4-7 time frame. They I'll have my water bottle and a snack to have if I get hungry later.

The second party I'm doing is on my birthday and I decided to go ahead and do a MNSSHP Dining reservation. I had to stalk the website for a couple of days but I did snag a ADR at the castle. I figure I'll just make sure to catch anything during the time frame at the first party.

Also entry before the party ticket time is handled like normal. Have to have a park ticket/reservations for MK to enter.

There is no mobile ordering during the party, but the quick service places that are open should be serving their normal menu in addition to the party snacks.

There is a foodie guide on the Disney Parks Blog that you'll want to take a look at. It's a mix with some party items being available all day, and some available only during party hours (which I believe means starting at 7pm).
