Sending DS on honeymoon to WDW next January. They wanted to book SW/Discovery Cove but, it appears as though it will be closed when they'll be there.

Understand there's a similar Dolphin Encounter in Epcot where you "get into the water via a wet suit, in waist deep water"?

Anyone ever try it or know anything about it?

I have never been to Discovery Cove, but I don't believe the Epcot encounter like Discovey Cove, I did the Epcot encounter last May and it is very nice, very educatioal, it is about 3 hours long, then towards the end of the progam you are able to put on wet suits and get in the water and you get your photo taken with the dolphin. It is a nice program.

I haven't done it myself, but for our trip last February I booked the tour for my DH as a surprise. He said it was incredible and the greatest thing he's ever done. He told me that you have to watch a movie first and they give you a tour of the Living Seas and then you change into your wet suit and get in the water with the dolphins. The trainers show you some simple commands to use with them and they taught him how to pet them on the tummy (DH's dolphin fell asleep while he was doing it :) ) and then you pose for a picture. He's a big animal lover, so he loved it.

Thanks:thumbsup2 Read that they prohibit cameras & recording devices...guess you're limited to the one pic they take?
