I have been to WDW 3 times.. planning our 4th trip now. We are thinking about possibly trying to plan a trip to DL too... Can you compare DL resort to WDW for me? How many days is sufficient to see everything (I dont want to be there too long)? Our kids will be almost 2 and 3 (almost 4)... when we are thinking about going. I thought Disneyland might be nicer for them because its so much smaller than WDW. Any other info you want to offer would be great! Thanks!

Go to the stickies...ready anything written by Hydroguy, but start with WDW vet's guide to DLR. Though it is smaller (everything is walking distance) there are just as many rides as WDW. I prefer 5-6 days....4 will be a minimum after Carsland opens this summer.

Yes, Disneyland is smaller but that can be misleading. Theres almost as many rides, shows and attractions at Disneylands 2 parks as there is in WDW's 4 parks. Disneyland itself has quite a bit more than Magic Kingdom.

You can see almost everything in 3 days but could be rushed. 4 would be a more relaxing pace. What Disneyland lacks is all the resorts, restaurants and activities outside the parks. What it gains is more in each park and easy walking between both parks, 3 Disney resorts and Downtown Disney. That means its easier to park hop, dine outside the park etc. You get more done in less time!

Three days of Disneyland/California Aventure were plenty for us, but have no little kids. All adults.

Even with little ones though, I would think that you could do most things in three days.
