Are they just floating around in newspapers and websites for us to harvest? And then we spout them out when calling a resort, for example, to make our reservations?

I'm sort of trying to make sense of it all by reading this forum, but feel like I walked in on an already-started conversation among old friends.

Thanks in advance for educating me!

Welcome Sharlag : )

You should check mousesavers.com. She lists the codes as they come in, and explains how to use them. They are found all over and used as marketing tools..but with the internet, they get shared. The first code I ever used, was in a Spanish speaking magazine. I found it on mousesavers, and I was nervous about using it. However, even though the intent was to see how many people were reached through this magazine via the code, anyone could (and did) use it. They have "anyone" codes, Florida residents codes, Annual Pass codes, and sometimes Disney Visa codes.

I think I've been to Mousesavers, but I'll go again and check it out more thoroughly.

Thanks!:sunny:

Welcome to the DIS Sharla!!!!! It can feel that way when you first start participating, but we're all one happy Disney Family here and we love new members!! You'll never find another discussion forum with any nicer or more helpful folks that here. :grouphug: So feel free to ask away and I promise you, someone will know the answer or atleast point you in the right direction!:magnify:

Sign up for the mousesavers newsletter also- that way all the current codes and offers will be emailed to you each month around the 15th.
Yes- the codes are floating around on the Internet and in papers. As Disney decides to offer incentives they put out these codes- usually a 3 letter code.
When you see a code that you qualify for you call Disney reservations and give them the code and they will tell you the rate.
If you already have a reservation you can call with the code and they will apply the discount to your ressie.

It's great to know that I can go ahead and make reservations, then if I find a code, get the discount applied.

Thanks again!
