Tell me about CSR?

My husband informed me that his job is sending all their employees in his dept. to a conference in WDW next Oct. and they are putting them at CSR. Obviously the kids and I are bummin' along for the trip. How can we pass up on opportunity to have his work pay for our room? We have never stayed at CSR. Has anyone had a great experience there that they'd like to share? What's the resort like? Is the pool fun for kids? Is eating on the property pretty simple? Any pictures you'd like to share would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance. We are already looking forward to a trip eleven months away. I hope the kids can trick-or-treat in the parks.

We loved CSR!!!!! We liked it so much I just rebooked today for our April trip. We stayed in the Cabana's building 8A because I read it was close to the bus stop and the main pool and it was. My kids loved the pool. My oldest daughter went up and and down the slide several times. There is a nice pool side bar, we ordered counter service food from there one day to help with time. The kids loved eating pool side, the food was well, counter service, need I say more. We also had an adult beverage or two pool side. You gotta love those Maragarita's. We ate at Pepper Market one night. I considered it ok, but a lot of people love it there. I found Pepper Market to be very far from our room. It was good walk.

Hi there, my try We stayed at CSR Dec 2006 for the first time and as you can see by my sig , we're going back!! It is a very beautiful, quiet, relaxing resort. The bus service is excellent and we love the food court. Most people on the Disboards LOVE CSR. The main pool has a great slide! Your kids should love the pool, great slide that comes from behind a pyramid, with a jaguar spitting water at them about half way down. You can stand on the bridge and get pics of them on their way down if you're fast enough.

We'll be staying there in just a few days!!!! We're so excited!!!! We haven't stayed at CSR since 1998, but I've read many good reports from others who have stayed recently, so we're looking forward to our stay!!! I'll write a little report as soon as we get back! My DD is looking forward to going down that water slide at the pool!

My family loves everything about CSR. We were there in July and also stayed in Cabanas 8A, which is closest to the main pool. My DD11 and DS12 thought the pool & slide were great, and DH & I loved the pool. We ate several meals at the Pepper Market and liked it, and there is even a terrific gift shop. Buses are never full. This is a fabulous resort!

CSR is a great resort with terrific transportation, a great pool/slide and awesome atmosphere!!
