OK I will admit I always assumed that CRT dinner was a character meal. I only found out a couple of days ago that it isn't! I thought I was pretty knowledgable about WDW stuff but this fact slipped past me :teeth: .

Anyway, I'm travelling solo this summer and I'm not interested in eating at any character meals so the infamous CRT breakfast doesn't interest me at all.

How is dinner in the castle? I looked at the menu on allearsnet but I really want to hear from other DIS'ers. Tell me about the food, the service, the table setup (small tables available?).

I would love to hear about this too, we have it booked for breakfast (which i know all about) and dinner for our June stay.

I eat there for dinner every year before the MVMCP. What do you want to know? It's pretty crowded generally. Stick with the Prime Rib on the menu and you'll be great. :)

We've eaten there several times for dinner. We've always had good service. Ditto on the prime rib. The food is good, but not great, and it is pretty expensive for what it is. The do have small tables. We had a great table right by the window once for my older daughter's birthday with a view of the carousel - that was a magical night.

We ate there for dinner the week of Thanksgiving. We really enjoyed it because we didn't have ps, but were able to get a seat around 8. My husband enjoyed the prime rib, but I had a harder time ordering. I was very pregnant and very queasy! I odered the calamari and risotto. I was not expecting a plate full of intact squid. They were arranged on the plate like they were having their own little party. EEEWWWWW! My only complaint is that they were very busy and trying to move the tables very quickly. Our server didn't have much personality, but that's going to happen sometimes.

I ate at CRT for dinner in Nov. It was very nice. I think it had a grown up feel to it rather than a kid feel as the breakfast does. The view is amazing. I am not sure what I had for dinner but I know it was good. My party of 3 ordered all of the desserts (minus ice cream) and shared them. I think they were three They were wonderful!!! I couldn't get enough. THe best was Walt's Apple bread custard. We had a great view of the carsoul and a wonderful server who didn't rush us at all! I remember we ate late beucase we walked out about 5 minutes before Wishe's started.
