I don't see too much talk about Citricos on this board! I missed the opportunity to book Cali Grille and decided on Citricos for a 7pm dinner on 12/2. Just DH and me!:lovestruc ILs will have the kids.

What's yummy on their menu? What's not to miss?

We totally enjoyed Citico's the last couple of times - the service was probably best of all the signature restaurants on out last trip! There were 5 of us and we all loved our meals. Check out the menu on here or all ears - I believe it changes often but tyou will get an idea.

We actually chose Citricos over Cali Grill this time - normally we will do both but we ran out of nights LOL

We enjoy Citricos more than CG also. It's definitely more adult. My favorite dish here is the goat cheese truffle salad. I usually get whatever fish dish they have for an entree; it's always been good.

Citricos is excellent! I prefer the food at CG, mainly because I LOVE sushi, but that is just my personal taste. The layout of the restaurant is similar to CG, but I find Citricos much more subdued. It is a more relaxed atmosphere. Great restaurant!

We love Citricos. The menu is different from the standards at other Disney restaurants and the service we receive there is always so nice. On our next trip if I had to choose between the two I'd go with Citricos over CG :thumbsup2

The veal shank is probably their signature dish--I get it evey time we go. And I'll be getting it again when we go to Citrico's this coming Sunday evening!

I haven't been to V&A, but the service at Citricos is consistently the friendliest and most knowledgeable of the signature restaurants.

We have always had great food and service at Citricos-top notch waitstaff-Bruce, Nadim & Chafik.

On the other hand California Grill has become a victim of its own sucess in my opinion. Two of the last 3 times (years) we have dined there, we have waited well over an hour and a 1/2 to be seated. Thats really unacceptable in my book-all times in Oct and around 7 PM. We have been going

They cleared out most of the lounge to stuff in more tables, which I feel strains the kitchen. CG does have a larger menu, but until its popularity dies down, we probably won't return. We will probably be waiting a while.

We just tried Citricos for the first time on Saturday. Their Filet Jardiniere was FANTASTIC. Everything on the plate was sooo good:

DD had the Veal Shank:

Desserts were also a work of art:

It's a great choice for dining. Enjoy. And forgive me if the pictures don't quite come out ok as I haven't posted pictures for such a long time.

I don't know what happened to the veal shank, but that's a picture you also have to see. I'll try to post it again.

Our favorite dinner in the World is almost always at Citrico's (Victoria & Alberts trumps it, but it's expected to). We love ALL of the appetizers, including the arancini, shrimp dish, and the crab appie. I order a different main each trip and nothing has failed to please!

we LOVED citricos!!!! it was so nice to go and dine at a place where it wasn't so crazy and loud. we love crazy and loud but it was nice for a change. my dh and i had the filet that was sooooo good!! our dd had the tenderloin and loved it. they had great desserts! we will be back!!

I'm so happy to hear all the great reviews! And thank you so much for the pics--they made me excited (especially for dessert!)!

We had a wonderful meal last month. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was the cheese plate, not very exciting.

Citricos is tied, and maybe even a little ahead of Cali Grill for my fav Disney restaurant. It's amazing!

I'm so shocked that it's not harder to get in to.

Here's a review I did of it -

You will really enjoy Citricos. I'm going back twice before the year is over!

Food is delicious. However, it was shockingly noisy the night we were there, with tons of kids. Really, zero ambience.

The night our friends were there, they said kids actually were crawling on the floor and playing hide and seek and no one (including the manager) did a thing about it. They won't go back.

If at all possible, I'd change your 7 p.m. to something more like 8:30 p.m. (or even 9 p.m.).

Unfortunately, unruly kids can ruin a meal at any good restaurant. Citrico's USUALLY is more quiet than CG, but as we see, that isn't always the case.

Food was fabulous. Was nice to catch some of Wishes out the window while we ate too (don't get me wrong here, it's no Cali Grill for watching them, you catch a few by turning your head at a dodgy angle :rotfl: but it's still nice). And the sundried tomato bread they brought out ... my favourite Disney bread ever :cloud9:

So many postitive reviews!:goodvibes

To be honest, I'm actually not too worried about loud kids, since just having to not cut up anyone else's food will be a real treat!!;)
