Has anyone stayed here? My family is staying there in June. I've read mixed reviews.

We stayed in Nov. 2003. It was clean, quiet & comfortable. That said, the bed had a huge crater in the middle that forced us to snuggle. ;) Not too comfortable though but that was probably just the place we had. The kitchen had everything we needed. The grounds were clean and the pool warm. We had a positive experience and would have returned if I could have found them again. (Booked through hotels.com and couldn't book there again.) We were asked if we wanted a "tour" - read timeshare presentation - we declined and were not bothered again. I hope you enjoy your stay!

it is only timeshares that RCI uses that still allows pets.

if this bothers you go somewhere else.

stayed there several times and liked it. (you might consider bring an air mattress)

We have stayed thee a few times night before disney visit an night we left it was OK for 1 night not bad for the price we paid our beds not the worst we have slept in that for sure.....

I have been a member of this resort for three years or more. I have always enjoyed my stay. My son and his friend enjoyed the view, the walking trail, the tub and T.V. It was v ery spacious. I only had one problem, I forgot how to turn off the jacuzzi and had to get my son's assistant.

We have stayed at Celebration World three of the past four years for Christmas / New Years. The past two years we've actually booked 14 days there and we stayed with our dogs. While far from the best timeshare resort in Orlando it is certainly nice enough, large enough and with a decent location. The reason we have repeatedly chosen to stay there wa the ability to take the dogs as that saved us big dollars on kennel stays as well as being more enjoyable for us and the dogs.

We have not found any issues with the beds. They are undergoing a unit renovation which they say will be completed this year. We visited a model unit and it looked well done with needed updating.

The resort has never been completed with less than 1/3 of the whole footprint actually built. Because of that it lacks many of the originally planned amenities and is rather isolated. But with 192 being so close and all that has to offer in the way of stores, restaurants and services as long as you have a car you are all set. The basics are in place, the staff has always treated us well and, given the opportunity, we'd stay there again in the future. Enjoy your trip - chances are you'll like Celebration World as a home base.

Any idea when the renovations will be completed?

As I recall they said by late summer but that seemed rather aggressive to us. They have a lot of work to do on many units but I suppose it could be done by then if they push.
