Tell me about breakfast changes

I hear that 2 beverages are no longer allowed for 1 DP credit for breakfast. Just one entree and one beverage.

I am foggy about what is included at places like Main Street Bakery. If we want a bakery item is it just 1 bakery item and 1 beverage that is included? (Ex. A muffin and a coffee?) Not saying I'd decide to use it for that then, just wondering. Thanks!

For places like Main Street you're probably better off using a snack credit for a pastry and paying OOP for your coffee. I'm not sure if you would get anything extra with a CS credit.

Not saying I'd use a CS credit at MSB for pastry and drink, I'm just wondering what would be included?

Is it 2 pastries and a beverage? I have no idea?
It used to include two drinks, right? But now just one?

I find when we worry too much about the "value" and pay oop for stuff we don't think is a good value, we end up with leftover credits which is certainly a poor value!

bump...Has anyone been to Main St Bakery since the new breakfast changes? What was included in the CS credit? Thanks!

I would love to know this too...

When we went in 2009, I got a smoothie, a cinnamon roll and fruit, I believe

That was a good use of a CS, IMO

And now no smoothies there anyhow :sad2:

Main Street Bakery does have a hot breakfast sandwich option for CS credit--hot ham/egg/cheese croissant.

Last I saw, if you're wanting pastries it was 2 pastries and one beverage for a CS credit.

I called Disney yesterday about this and they said that nothing has changed. You can still get two drinks with breakfast :)

I wonder if it was another case of bad information though. We all know that we can call 3 times in a day and get 3 different answers. I looked over the DDP several times, and it says specifically that the juice is no longer included. So, just one drink. Maybe they're changing it again?

It doesn't surprise me in the least to be honest. However others on here have posted from experience that the 'new rule' was being heavily enforced at their resorts. I guess this is one more thing to add to the list of You Have Nothing To Lose By Asking ...... (and expect a different answer every day). :upsidedow

Very interesting. Thank you for taking the time to call and to post the response for us. :goodvibes
