Would you recommend it? How does the Cheese soup compare to the one at LeCellier? Also, if I'm at DHS and catch the boat headed to Epcot, is there a stop close to the restaurant? Would that be the best way to get there from DHS? thanks :)

Honestly it's pretty blah. We went once and will not be going back. It is your standard pub food. Nothing special or disney like about it. Our waiter was VERY slow, the food was pretty boring, and quite honestly the only thing Disney about it was the bill.
I personally wouldn't waste my time. Key indicator there were only about 4 other tables in the restaurant when we were there at lunch time... guess that should have told me all I needed to know.
You can take the boat from DHS to the boardwalk and it's to the right of the dock. Honestly I'd try someplace else though. (I'm not a Disney food downer by nature either.)

Didn't think BRG was too good. If your headed to Epcot, why not just eat there. You have much better choices.

I have lunch at BRG at least once every trip to WDW. I am heading down tomorrow and hope to be having lunch there on Saturday!

Food is pretty good, beers are different and interesting and the service has always been fine. If it is a nice day, it's great to sit outside on the boardwalk and enjoy a relaxing lunch.

If coming from DHS, take the boat and get off at the Boardwalk stop. Alternatively, you can walk from DHS to the Boardwalk area in about 15 minutes. Once you are in the area, you can't miss the restaurant.

Right by the boat launch at the boardwalk. We like it. I even have a rewards card and get freebies by taking surveys and such. The burgers are good. Spring for the Kobe. Its a couple $ more but really good. We found they undercook if you ask for medium its more med rare. The chicken sand I had in Dec was good too. The nachos are really good. For dinner I like the chicken w/o the sauce which is too sweet for my tastes. The guys like the beer sampler and you can get cocktails too. Have never tried the cheese soup, can't help on that:)

Not memorable at all. Cheese soup doesnt hold a candle to le cellier. Skip this one!!!

We love Big River Grille, and always have 1 lunch there.....good to great beer, the food is very tasty, but is alot like pub fare.....which we love.

:thumbsup2

We really like it! Definitely not the best restaurant at Disney but still pretty good. I actually prefer the cheese soup at BRG over Le Cellier and the chicken nachos are really, really good along with the chicken alfredo which I also enjoy.

To get there from DHS you can either walk (takes about 10 - 15 minutes) or take the boat to the Boardwalk Resort.

I'd been there a few years ago and was disappointed, both by food & service. Tried again last summer and found it better. Beer is ok, food was decent and service was good.
