So I am excited to try this for dinner this trip, our daughter is a huge cinderella fan, but with the new restrictions for the castle, no thank you! How is the food/character interaction at dinner at 1900?
Thanks,
Lesley

We did both CRT and 1900 Park Fare dinner last week. See my blog on CRT. 1900 Park Fare will be coming up soon.

But, in short, CRT - been there done that kind of deal. 1900 Park Fare - will do it again. Good food and good character interactions. Not rushed at all and they're not trying to pack as many tables into the place as possible.

Sleeping Beauty was in the hallway looking in. There was no line for her! I saw her peaking in, looking almost bored. So I took our DDs out and they spent some quality times with her. They spent some time just twirling around with her, since DDs had on gowns too.

I'll tell you in one word~FABULOUS! The characters were EVERYWHERE, and kept coming back again and again-and the place was packed! The food was wonderful, too. If you are a coffee drinker, be sure to order a cappuccino, and have your camera ready! Once we got in, we loved it. We went during the free dining plan, and had to wait 35 minutes past our reservation. Other than that, we LOVED IT!!!!

It is one of our favorites!!! The food is great and the interaction with the characters is wonderful! We like the breakfast here as well. We have also done the breakfast at CRT and it was nice eating in the castle, but like a previous poster said, been there done that. We will definitely go back to 1900 Park Fare.

Enjoy it and don't forget to try the strawberry soup!

Sounds great guys, THANKS! Strawberry soup?? Really? Is it cold? Anything else we should try?

We have a breakfast ADR here...We wanted to also do a dinner buffet, and have an ADR for the Crystal Palace--is the dinner buffet at 1900 PF better, or are they all pretty much the same?
PS- character variety isn't an issue, so I'm not even taking that into consideration ;)

Your girls look beautiful!!!! I was wondering how old your youngest is? Ours will be 2.5 and I was thinking of doing a Princess Character meal but I am not sure how much she will enjoy it, if she does at all.

Thanks

Dinner buffet at 1900 PF is better than CP. If you're just going for the food and want to choose one, 1900 PF IMHO.

They can be brats though :)

Youngest one turned 3 last week during our trip (that's why the crown and all the buttons during 1900 PF). We were afraid she would be scared of the characters, so was planning not to push her too hard. I mean, she freaks out with Santa at our local malls. :)

But, she surprised us. She hugged every character she got in line to see, from face characters to full mask ones. She wasn't afraid of any.

Kids can be so weird :)

Make sure you try the broccoli salad, it was very very good! I wish I had remembered to get the recipe, thats how good it was!

Thanks- I think I'll switch then- the only reason we chose CP is because it's actually in MK, and it seemed like it would be a minimal interruption to our MK touring that day...but I suppose it's not a huge deal to hop on the monorail to get over to GF.

I agree the food was awesome!!

I would go back for the food, not for the atmosphere or characters.

I did feel very crowded in at my table. Our tables were very close together.

Cinderella did not spend any time with my DD's. Which was ok b/c we had more time with her in May at CRT. Even Sleeping Beauty, alone in the foyer was very standoffish.

The whole restaurant was NUTS!!! You had to hold your breath running from buffet to table that no one would run into you and this was at 8:30 pm. It was also very loud.

Ok, now that I've talked this out, maybe I wouldn't go back for the food? :rolleyes1 I guess I figure it could have just been a bad night? :confused3

DH and I did Park fare breakfast about three weeks ago. We really liked it. The food was great. We met Alice, the mad hatter and tigger there. Then we met Mary poppins in the area in front of the dining area. I would go back. :goodvibes

Cinderella is always at the dinner right?? That's the reason we are going, my daughter is a huge Cinderella fan.

My kids and I really enjoyed our experience at 1900 Park Fare dinner. My kids are DS11 and DD7. I wondered if my son would enjoy this, but he has always wanted to eat at the GF, actually he'd like for us to stay there. We saw Cinderella, Suzy, Perla, and Prince Charming. My daughter was the cutest with Prince Charming, she called him "dreamy" and he is blushing in the pictures. Oh and by the way the food (mmm Strawberry Soup) was great too. Have tons of fun!
