The forums were down recently for about a day just this past week for updating or something like that. Maybe they're behind in responding to emails.

If you'd like, I could try emailing one of the webmasters there to ask if they're having problems. Let me know.

You mean to get onto the forums boards? I signed up a year or so ago, and I do seem to remember it taking a while to get the confirmation email. Don't you just love TWoP? Beside DIS, it's my very favorite site. I almost never post, though- I just lurk and read the recaps. So snarky!!

It would be great if you could..I saw the forums were down a few days ago,but I've been trying to join the forums for over a week..

Oh yes. I go the initial response and went back to the site an it said I would get an email when I was approve,generally within 24 hours

There are Meet Markets for the shows with expanded forums, but generally it's all TV or TV-related talk. They're pretty strict about keeping people on topic.

Extremely strict, which I love. TWoP is a great site, just be ready to abide by the rules.

Hey Jenny! You and I seem to like all the same websites, Flylady and TwoP .

I have been at TwoP for six years (since the site started). I'm so used to abiding by the rules there, but it's so worth it.

Just make sure you read the FAQ's.

I like the 15/15 rule, and the no umming, etc.

I love TWoP!!! For the most part I do appreciate the rules, though I swear sometimes it's like having board nazi--you signed your post! no chat for you!

The no "um" thing is a Godsend! I've never seen any good come from a post that begins with that kind of snotty opening!
