*** Television Winter 2010 ***

Thank you bicker for the rundown of upcoming and current shows. I like the sound of BBC America's Survivors and NBC Parenthood.

I'm ready tonight for American Idol (I'll click back and forth between AI and Biggest loser) and Southland on TNT at 10pm.

Sunday, January 17
Series Premiere of The Human Target (Fox)
Season Premiere of 24 (Fox)
Season Finale of The Jacksons (A&E)

Series Premiere of Life Unexpected (CW)

Tuesday, January 19
Winter Premiere of White Collar (USA)

Wednesday, January 20

Thursday, January 21
Series Premiere of The Deep End (ABC)
Winter Premiere of Burn Notice (USA)

Friday, January 22
Series Premiere of Caprica (Syfy)
Series Finale of Dollhouse (Fox)

Next week:
Premieres: Inbetweeners, Damages, Greek, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, State of the Union, La La Land, Kitchen Nightmares, Psych, Live for the Moment

The six remaining episodes of "Trauma" will air starting Monday, March 8 at 9:00.

Actually, I've updated the television time slot schedule, at the beginning of this thread, to reflect all the changes to the NBC schedule, to be applied post-Olympics, with the cancellation of the Jay Leno Show.

The series finale of Fox's Dollhouse, originally scheduled for Jan. 22, will be bumped a week to accommodate the Haiti telethon, airing on many broadcast and cable networks; "Epitaph Two: Return" will instead air on Jan. 29 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Smallville's return to The CW is similarly delayed.

Program Note: This past week's Medium featured Olivia Sandoval, daughter of co-star Miguel Sandoval, playing Arianna Devalos, the daughter of District Attorney Devalos, the character that Miguel Sandoval plays. The family photos were not photo-shopped; they were real.

This is one of the dark weeks in mid-winter, when many shows are presenting reruns.

Monday, January 25
Season Premiere of Top Gear (BBC America)
Series Premiere of Inbetweeners (BBC America)
Season Premiere of Damages (FX)
Season Premiere of Greek (ABC Family)
Secret Diary of a Call Girl - Special (Showtime)

Wednesday, January 27
State of the Union address
Season Premiere of Psych (USA)

Thursday, January 28
Live for the Moment (CBS)

Friday, January 29
Series Finale of Dollhouse (Fox)
Season Premiere of Kitchen Nightmares (Fox)

Next week:
Finales of Durham County, Scrubs, Lawman, Bones (returning in the Spring), Fringe (returning in the Spring), Shark Tank, Demons
Premieres of Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Lost

Hi bicker! Do you know if there is a thread started for Castle fans?

I love this show! The interaction between Castle and Beckett cracks me up everytime.

Beckett finds hidden drugs, cuts into the package, sticks in her finger and tries a sample.

Beckett: "Heroin."

Castle: "That was so cool just now."

Beckett: "You like that?"

Castle: "Yeah, it was very Miami Vice."

I'm pretty sure that there isn't a separate thread for Castle, as of yet.

This will resemble the second half of February, when we can also expect loads of reruns (and for NBC, preemptions) during the Olympic Games.
It is looking more and more like this will be the case:

Monday - CBS' comedies and CSI: Miami will be reruns both weeks, as will ABC's Castle (but ABC's The Bacherlor will not be)

Tuesday - CBS' NCIS duo and The Good Wife will be reruns both weeks (but ABC's Lost will not be)

Wednesday - CBS' comedies, Criminal Minds and CSI:NY will be reruns both weeks, as will ABC's comedies and Ugly Betty

Thursday - CBS' CSI and The Mentalist, and ABC's Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice will be reruns both weeks (but CBS' Survivor will not be)

Friday - CBS' Ghost Whisperer, Medium and Numb3rs will be reruns both weeks; ABC will be showing movies both weeks that they've shown before

Sunday - ABC's Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters will be reruns both weeks.

What about the cable shows like Damages, Burn Notice, Leverage and Psych? Sounds like a good change to catch up on my Stargate SG-1 DVDs.

As far as I can tell, cable will be unaffected by the Olympics, even USA Network.

What about CW during the Olympics (mostly for Vampire Diaries, SPN and Smallville)?

As far as I know, they're ignoring the Olympics. I don't follow Supernatural, but Vampire Diaries and Smallville are supposed to be new episodes straight through February.

Thanks bicker!

Would there be interest in a thread for Leverage?

So, is anyone in this thread watching 'Life Unexpected'? It's my new favorite show and I can't wait to watch the next episode on Monday night! Trying to find some other fans!
