telephone numbers of restaurants

I'm hoping i can find a last minute restuarant to ohana. Plan on calling also while i'm there. is the only way to do this is to show up in person or call adr hotline? can you call restaurants directly?

Aside from a few of the non-Disney restaurants (RFC, TRex, Big River Grille) you can only get ADRs by calling the WDW-DINE, going online, or by making a request at your resort concierge. For 'Ohana you would definitely need to go thru the Disney phone number (or go online, which would probably be faster).

You can also go to guest services (or whatever it's called) in the parks or dtd to check.

Calling the restaurant directly will not help you get a reservation.

Disney-operated restaurants take reservations only through WDW-DINE or the online systems.

You can do several things: check repeatedly yourself, either by phone to WDW-DINE or online; if you have a travel agent, get them to check; if you are staying club level, get the concierge to check; use guest services at the park or lobby concierge at your resort. But if the restaurant is booked up, they will not be able to get you a reservation.

Also, check the cancellation thread on the Reservations board for the month you are traveling. Posters will write on this thread when they have cancelled a reservation, giving readers a chance to call or go online and try to grab the space at the restaurant. (The cancellation threads should not be used to ask for a reservation transfer, as WDW does not allow the transfer of restaurant reservations.)
