Teeth questions

my youngest who just turned 5 yesterday and a week ago he lost his first tooth. and I always thought is was your top two teeth you loose first. but not him it was his bottom front tooth and the one next to it is loose. His dentist said he has two loose teeth my husband and I asumed it was his top ones. the next day my son comes over and said his tooth is loose that is when we noticed which ones were loose.

Is that strange?? The bottom teeth first.

Both my DD's were 5 when they lost their bottom teeth and nearly 7 when they lost their top ones.......Hope this helps

I lost almost all of my bottom teeth first! But my top two teeth were the first to go out of all the top ones.

It is normal for them to lose the teeth in the order they came in (roughly). Not that their cannot be exceptions to that rule. But that is usually how it goes. Most babies get their bottom teeth first (so they end up falling out first, also).

DS & his friend who are both the same age, 6, lost their bottoms first this winter.

Yep, DD6 is losing teeth and it is the bottom front ones. It makes me very sad because she has/had such beautiful tiny perfect baby teeth. The adult teeth are too big for her little mouth and everything is coming in crooked and pushing other teeth aside. *sigh* Guess I'll start saving up for braces.

My 6 1/2 yo DD has a very loose front bottom tooth and the one next to it is getting a little wigglely (is that a word??), Her pemanent tooth is already through behind the really loose one.

She is having corn on the cob tonight and is hoping it comes out with the corn!!!!
