We'll be at the world May 24th to June 6th. We always design a t-shirt for our Disney vacations, but this time we got a little carried away. My wife let me buy a vinyl cutter and it expanded my creative possibilities. So for this trip we have 4 designs. It does make packing easier though. I hope you enjoy!

Those look incredible. Can you share more about what a vinyl cutter is? How exactly do you make those - I love them.

Also, I believe you were the designer who originally designed the orange bordered DISNEY with characters around. Just wanted to let you know I used one for our trip last year and it was one of my favorites - Thanks! Can you believe it is still floating around. Kristine is still getting requests for it.

Please, more info on your newest shirt designs. I absolutely LOVE the second one!

Thanks Amy!

Yes...I can't believe that design is still alive. It's one of my personal favorites as well.

As for the vinyl cutter, it's a great medium to work with. It's basically like a printer, but instead of the print head printing, it has a blade that cuts through a vinyl material. What I like about it is that you can get a much more professional look. The end result has the feel and look of screen printing and it's 100 times more durable than inkjet transfers and vinyl never fades. It's also totally opaque so it can be used on any color fabric. Here's a link to a youtube video that shows the whole process:

The vinyl cutters also do a lot more than just t-shirts. You can actually take scrapbooking papers and have the cutter cut any shape you desire out of the paper. Imagine cutting out a castle shape from paper with clouds all over it...or maybe glitter. I'm just beginning to explore some of the possibilities.

Here's another vinyl cut design I did for a family we know who are going to Star Wars Weekends.

That's a nice compliment, but no...I don't think Disney would stand very long for me doing that. But if anyone ends up buying a vinyl cutter, PM me and I'll send you my files. (NOTE: These files will only work with a vinyl cutter)

Wow! Now I want to buy a vinyl cutter! Where do you get them?
Your shirts are amazing!! Thank you so much for sharing!!

i bought mine on Ebay. I found a great site that sells great apparel making equipment and supplies. It's call Imprintables Warehouse.

The url is www.imprintables.com

BTW...the sell really high quality transfer papers. If you are accustomed to using Avery and you try the stuff they sell...you'll never go back.

that machine that is about 15k? Those shirts are awesome, but I don't think I could ever afford that lol.

Kudos for the designs! You should sell shirts :)
