OK - this is a small vent. REALLY small. And - I do realize that since is the biggest beef I have about DH - things are really going well.
We are a pretty big "geeky family" as it relates to computers. DH is the geekiest guy you could ever meet. It is wonderful being married to a "help-desk" Really, I do like that!
Now - related to flash drives. We are just having an issue in our house. I do not need one often. But, when I need one, I need one. I do not want to "dig through" a stack of them to find one that doesn't have this or that on it. So - when I need a flash drive - it is a whole big hairy deal. In addition - we've encouraged DD to always make sure that any big projects she is working on get saved on a flash drive in addition to the computer she is working on. DH "thinks" I have my own flash drive. Clearly - I've explained to him - since I can't easily identify the flash drive as my own...that it really isn't "MINE".
I WANT MY OWN FLASH DRIVE. And...my "snowflake" needs her own too! (Note - DD isn't really a snowflake, but she is a HS junior with a pretty demanding class load this year. I hate for her not to have something easily identified as hers.)
Yes - I know...really small issue her. DH is just being a pain about this one. I'm thinking in a couple of weeks when all the breast cancer awareness stuff is out - I'll get a pink flash drive. (Of course, I'll have to get something equally cute for DD - otherwise - she'll take ownership of mine.)
