Hi teens! I need some help. I have a 13year old nephew and a 14 year old niece that I need to buy presents for. They don't want gift cards(can you believe that one?!) they want gifts. So HELP!! What are you hoping to get from your relatives? And also do you know any good gaming websites that offer subscription games? My ds(11) loves miniclips and VMK but I thought maybe there is something else out there that he could play. Thanks guys and I promise not to lurk and read what you all talk about

all i really want is money but i don't think that's gonna happen. anyway, we can't really decide what we think would be good for them if we don't know what they like. i mean, someone else in my class would not want what i'm getting. i'm getting some lip gloss, soap, a backpack, some stuff i liked in a soccer magazine, and finger soccer. i tell my folks what i want, and i get it.
so it would help if you told us what they like.
but a one-way ticket to super aunt would be money.

i want a northface, but they are like 165 dollars
the OC season 1 and 2 on DVD
and money....

honestly? I'd rather have the cash. But since they don't want that, I would get a couple of games for him on his sytem of choice and clothes or music for her.

Well I don't know anyone 13 or 14, but I read an article about what to get 'tweens' in the news paper. Kids now-a-days want things that are up to date with the technology. Look for starter kits of a Digital Camera or a Video Camera. Make sure it has good reviews, the average price for that is about $50-$150 here's a link: http://www.target.com/gp/browse.htm...-4125244-8366219?_encoding=UTF8&node=15856631
The newest thing is these Video recorders/Cameras two things built into one.
-Make-up can be baught anytime, but if you want to get a tween make-up a set is the way to go. http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=175310&PseudoCat=vt-se-xx-xx for example like that. Lots of different shades of makeup and different types of make-up to choose from so you don't have to madly search for the favorite types of make-up.
-Since it's holiday time the Xbox 360 is in high demand, an alternative to that is the PSP. I myself have one, the screen is big, bright and doesn not give me a headache unlike the gameboys. It can play movies, music videos, games -the games are in a scratch proof case and you can pop them in the PSP with the case on-, look at pictures, and browse the web when you are near a wireless internet sourse. You can also hook the PSP up to your computer with a USB cable instead of using wireless. It's made by sony so you know it's going to be great. I get my tv's, cameras, and video cameras from sony. They all work fantastic.
As I said before since it is christmas all the electronic consols will be in a kit at a lower price. Make sure you get the kit instead of just the consol -the price of the consol alone is the same price at the kits during the holidays-
-If your a big VMK fanatic or regular sims addict, perhaps the "Sims 2 holiday edition" might be to your liking. It's the normal Sims 2 but with over 40 new holiday obects and things. If you have all the Sims 2's you can go on the EA games website and purchase just the Holiday Pack upgrade -also a wonderful gift- I must say make sure you are aware of the "T" Rating. It's there for a reason. Carefully read why it is rated T before buying it and make sure you are ok with it. It's not like the first "Sims" at all.

Also when you purchase any Sony game consol system you get a free card to subscribe for the maganize that give you FREE Demo disks for upcoming games. -Some of the games are just movies, some you can actually play-. When I got my GameCube all I got was a free offer for a game guide for any Gamecube game of my choice.
-Mario games (Mario Kart Racing, Mario Double Dash, Mario Party, Ect.) are not Sony made, they are not for PSP, Playstation or any other Sony made product.

Thanks everyone. Tinkerbelle I am glad to hear you like your PSP(because that is the one big thing I got for DS he is going to LOVE it!) I have given my niece a Sephora gift certificate in the past and she said she liked it but I secretly think her mom stole it from her.(I think that is why they don't want $$ either) You have all given me some good ideas- thanks.
