Teens on their own

I leave tomorrow for WDW with DD5, DS16 and son's best friend, 16. The teen boys will surely be on their own schedule while there (12 days) and we are staying at Cypress Point. What would you recommend as the best way for them to get back and forth to the parks at times when they aren't with me? Is there a public bus/trolley option newr Cypress? Is a cab a better choice (how much should this cost?). I am assuming that they could get to DTD and then get on the DTS to move about the World. Any suggestions?

Almost every hotel in the area provides free guests transportation to the parks. Just check in your hotel front desk.
