I have a work colleague who has 18 year old sons going to Florida this year with friends. They are not driving but have to take medicine twice a day at 9am and 9pm. How do people manage with medicine and the time difference?

Whilst there are lots of people in this section that take children, or adults, to Florida who have special needs and medicinal requirements you may find an answer more suited to you over on the DisAbilities section.
You can find it HERE

Hi i went to florida last year... I have epilepsy and have had since the age of 4. Ive had spells of no seizure and spells of lots of seizures. I had a driving licence and had it revoked so I've been through it a bit.
Anyway when i went to florida disney (Im from the UK) i was at my worse point in relation to seizures. however i kept things simple.
I had 2 watches one in uk time and one in america time. I stayed on the uk time for 1 day and then changes 2 hours at a time. i did have seizures while out there but i was in england and as i had more stress with long days lots of walking, lights and mad rides it was perfectibaly understandable.
what I'm saying is try and stick to as much of a routine as possible. for me it was like going for a bath before bed. no matter what the time as it relaxed me and i was more likely to have a good night.
Enjoy your holidays and life to the full. epilepsy is a part of you. not something that defines you.
