Hi :wave2: DD13 just showed me a rash under her arm. I told her to put a cold wash cloth on then where a tank top during the night, to air it out. What else can be done? :confused3 Is there a cream everyone would have at home, she could use at night?

If she were my DD, I would give her some Benedryl (oral) and put some cortisone cream on it. Did anything change in your house....body soap, deordorant, laundry detergent, etc!!!! These can be common triggers for rashes. If it doesn't improve in several days or if it gets bad, I think that I would call your doc.

ditto on the benedryl pills! I would also put on a Bonds Gold powder. They have different ones. I had a really bad rash (turns out I had an allergic reaction to the sun ..yes sun & I live in FL & work ouside in PE with elem school kids). I bought the Bonds Gold powder for itchy skin...it had a very cool soothing feel to it.

Does she shave her arm pits? could be the razor (throw out old and get new).

DH breaks out from any deodorant containing anti-perspirant. Have her switch to a plain deodorant and see if that helps.

I know that when I use anti Persperants I break out in a huge red itchy, burning rash. I can use deodorants with impunity but not anti Persperants. So what you end up with is a guy with sweaty armpitted shirts that smells almost good lol
