Teenage lads are crazy!

We got a new lad in work today he is 17 and on my break I went over to say Hello. We got talking about girls and he said he only ever goes out with girls who look good. He judges girls entirely on Looks alone! I was amazed!!! I have NEVER been out with a girl because she looks good, I am not bothered by looks at all to me if someone has a nice personality that is way more important than how they look.
I mean if you go out with a "Beautiful" person and they have no brains dont you get bored very soon? I mean there is only so far looks can go surely?
Anyway I asked a older guy in the office who said he married his Wife "because she was the best looking bird I ever went out with" Have I got a problem not caring what folks look like?
And I would be interested to know if any of the boys or girls who post here wouldnt go out with a girl/Guy because they werent great looking
I think some of you have seen my pic and I am not the best lookng lad in the world but I think I am a nice lad but it seems just because I am nice isnt enough
I am just glad I have found a great lady who just happens to be beautiful too

I think looks have something to do with it beacuse you look at a person before you talk to the. but i know that i am not going to get anyone with looks so... I like to get and know the person before i go out with them. So i would say that i am more into their personality then there looks!

I've never judged anyone by their looks, people's personalities are so much more important. Whether you can hold a conversation with someone is way more important than how a person looks.

Mind you, I've managed to find someone who's lovely and gorgeous, but that's just the icing on the cake

Most of the people I've ever fancied havn't been the best looking lads in the world (mainly cos i KNOW i'd have no chance with them but come to think of it, I have no chance with the less good looking ones!) I think being able to have an intelligent conversation and having a sense of humour much more important.

I think that initally looks do matter because the first time you see someone, you see how they look, not their brain. But after a while, looks shouldnt count as much, because you should try to get to know a person on the inside.

well looks are important...no matter what anyone says...b/c that is what first attracts you to a person...but personality outways looks WAY more though b/c dumb people piss me off...lol

If i find a guy that has a great personality AND looks good, i think i would have died and gone to ehaven. Those kind of people are so hard to find these days lol. But yeah there are so many people i have liked based on personality and not looks, and it jsut makes liking them so much more fun hehe... But when i am at the mall with my girlies or whatever and we are just looking at guys, then yes i will look at just looks and body type, but when it comes to relationships, its the personalty first.

I'm usually attracted to someone at first because of their looks, but if they don't have a good personality, then I lose interest. My friends and i have decided that all hot guys are either jerks, gay, or taken!

I don't know if all teen boys are that way. I have two brothers, one 19 and one 15. The 15 year old is all about looks. Personality is secondary, sadly. We hope that someday he'll catch on to the "real world". The other brother, the 19 year old, he is not bad looking, but it is his personality that wins you over and that tends to be what he looks for in his girlfriends. They are the ones who when they are guests in my mom's house, pick up after themselves and can actually hold a conversation with you. The 15 year old just has a steady bimbo parade. Me, I was lucky to find the total package , but seriously we've been together five years, in the end a pretty face is only worth so much, at least my guy can hold a conversation

Hey Bump, you weren't a teenager so long ago yourself!
The kid I'm obsessed with for the past year (wow, I didn't realize Iit's been a year... so sad... I have no life ) anyway... I saw him running at a track meet, and I was like, wow. That kid is cute. Hopefully, If I ever get to talk to him, he won't be all like, hey, this girl likes me, lalala, with his friends. But anyway (I get easily distracted ) If he seems intelligent, I'll be happy, but if he isn't, I don't want him. I like smart people, but if their dumb, or not as smart as me, I don't want to be talking to them, and have them just smiling and nodding and not having a clue what I'm saying.

What gets me made is that some of my friends turn down this kids who ask them out b/c they aren't the cutest person, even if they have a great personality. If the kid I mention before (his name is Tommy incase yall wanted to know, which I doubt) doesn't work out (then I'll be sad ) I hope someone would like me based on my personality and not my looks.
