Teen spa on Magic

We just got off the Magic. Four days into the cruise we got a flyer advertising the teen spa there. My 15 yo dd had been so excited to find out the Fantasy had a teen spa, and so disappointed to find out the Magic didn't - at least when we looked online.

Turns out they just don't advertise it online, and it didn't occur to me to ask if there was one anyways.

So we did a Mommy and Me massage, which she loved.

Maybe they only do it if the adult spa isn't booked? It seemed like there were a lot of openings.

It is true that the Chill Spa is for teens 13 to 17. However, it is possible that, if the spa and salon are not fully booked in advance, they will allow mother-daughter or father-son packages for younger people to be booked onboard. My 12-year old daughter and I had a joint pedicure on the Magic earlier this month -- she had "ice cream" and I had "fire and ice." I simply asked if we were able to book it, knowing that the answer could have been "no."

A year ago, also on the Magic, we received a flyer offering both mother-daughter massages and mother-daughter manicures or pedicures.

I would not count on availability (e.g., promise a tween that she could do it), but it is likely that it will possible to have a mother-daughter treatment.

This sounds like it could be fun! I will have to keep this in mind for our cruise next fall!

At the time we were there, the spa told us they weren't online yet. Glad to see they changed that. Dd really enjoyed her massage.
