My DD16 did a 4-nighter on SOS and hated it. She said the teen area was only open at night from around 10PM-12AM. Well, in looking over the Adventure of the Seas info, it looks as though the teen area is only open from 10:30PM-2:00AM? Is this correct? Why in the world would the teen area not be open and accessible all day?

Can anyone do a "teen comparison" between DCL and RCCL Voyager class?

We went on the Voyager of the Seas in August 2003. My oldest ds (15 at the time) did not have a great time. On our cruise there seemed to be a lot of kids 12 and under and teens 17 and older. There weren't a lot of teens in my son's age group. :( I don't know what the hours of the teen club were but I do know the hours were much different than Disney. HTH

We were also on the Voyager of the Seas, and can concurr that teens don't have as much fun on those. Not sure of the hours, but they never seemed open and ds spent ALOT of time with us...which of course I loved because it was supposed to be a family vacation! I take him on Disney and NEVER see him! :(

Even if the Stack wasn't open, the kids got together on Dis and did something. This did not happen on Voyager for some reason?

Anyway, ds ranks the ships teen programs like this:
1. Princess
2. Disney
3. Carnival (ick)
4. RCCL (which he actually tied with Carnival)

My teen boys loved the RCCL cruise w/ The Mariner Ship this past June. They liked it better than DCL and had a great time. They also just had fun hanging out w/ kids...didn't necessarily have to be doing an activity.

I hate to hear bad things about the teen program on RCL. My son had the best time ever on DCL, but our next vacation is with RCL.

I don't know how many activities he did, but they were at the stack right after dinner and he and his friends hung out during the day.

By the way--we just got 2 pug puppies and have found a rescue for pugs in our area we hope to become active with.
