I’m surprised I haven’t seen an Easter Basket thread here!

I’m looking for ideas for my three young adults (ds13,ds19and dd20) for Easter. We are headed to Disney in May.

I’ve already got sunglasses and flip flops. What else can I add for the kids?

GUM. My kids go through it like mad, can't buy there. Portable phone chargers? Gift cards? Etsy gift card for DD- my DDs love to look for shirts, decals, ears, etc. Misting fans or just personal fans. Pouch to put phones in on wet rides to keep dry.

Ear buds, travel sized items, glow sticks for night time parades, Disney socks, chapstick, earbuds, iTunes or google play gift card, water bottle.

I love the ideas the previous posters listed, that sounds about perfect! The only things I can think to add would be preferred toiletries (most teenagers are particular about the brand of shampoo, bodywash, deodorant, hair styling stuff, etc. that they will use) and for my own teenager I would add a small size of the type of sunscreen that he prefers.

When my sister and I hit our teens my mom asked if we'd prefer to get clothes in our Easter baskets. Yes! Our little siblings still got toys and junk gifts and we'd get a cute outfit and sandals packed in our Easter baskets with some candy. That was great!

I have a DS16 and a DD21, for their Easter baskets I always include gift cards (Disney gift card if we have a trip planned in the near future.) If no immediate trip is on the horizon I include visa gift card, gas station gift cards, cards to favorite stores or even an amazon gift card. Ear buds, flip flops, favorite candy, phone chargers, nail polish and also make up remover wipes, for DD. Lottery scratch offs. Chapstick that contains sunscreen, sunglasses. If you have a Five Below store in your area they are great for kids and Teens (even some a bit older) Easter basket stuffers or Christmas stocking stuffers.

Even into my teens, I got chocolate/candy. It was from a small, family run chocolatier right in town, and it was the only time of year we got their chocolate. To this day, I still get that candy for Easter, and I have 4 kids ages 17-22!

When we got older, my Pop stopped hiding eggs for us. He started hiding jelly beans in the house. My kids look forward to this every year. You might want to try and add that to your Easter traditions.

Books, colorful pens, fun costume jewelry, those one-use face masks. Mine always get new earbuds and flip-flops. Water shoes might be a good choice (mine won't use them, though). Small Lego kits are surprisingly well-received in this house.

Yeah. Don't do this if you have a dog!:dog2: I used to scatter the foil-wrapped eggs throughout the house, but no more--don't want a sick pooch!

That's why they were jelly beans and not chocolate eggs. We did have dogs, and we currently have 2 dogs. You just have to hide them over their nose reach.

If you have a Charming Charlie near you, check there to see if they have some of the Disney stuff (ears, bags, jewelry). The ears look like the park ears for only $12! They have have a coupon on their website for %off certain dollar amounts.

I have mostly items for our summer travel in DD17s basket:
- a new makeup bag filled with travel size toiletries
- a bag bungee (Google it - they are great but if you get one, make sure it is the Travelon brand - the knockoffs don't work well)
- earbuds
- a hood for a lens on her DSLR
- a neoprene case for her tablet
- a SD Card reader for her tablet (used to transfer camera pics to her tablet as a backup while we travel).
I'm also getting her a digital copy of a photography book that she will be able to download to her tablet and take with her - I'll probably just put a note in her basket about that.

General stuff is a new wet brush, flip flops, a scarf, a cell phone case and a whole bunch of candy/snacks/gum!

Last year we did Chocolate bunnies, a polar bottle for them to take to work and school, hair brushes, squeezy fitget type toys. In the past when we had a trip planned I would give trading pins or vinylmations to trade.

This year my 19 year old son wanted a Nintendo switch for his birthday. His birthday is in 2 days but we already gave him the Switch. We had no games for it, so we already gave both of my sons a game for it, telling them it is for Easter. I have chocolate bunnies for them and not really much else. I will also give my son's girlfriend a GC to Starbucks. I know I will pick up a few more things, something like scratchers tickets.
