Teen DISer Movie Night

Ok, crazy idea.

What if we all

1. picked a Disney movie
2. picked an exact start time
3. and all started the movie at that exact time.

ok, in depth version.

So, I've been watching a lot of movies like the jane austen book club and such, and thought we needed some sort of weekly/monthly movie night. We pick a starting time that is consistent with all time zones (eg: 10:00 -east coast- 7:00 -west coast- [for Brits and such, you do the math ]) and a certain day -maybe a friday-. Then we pick a (preferablely classically animated) Disney movie (Are we not DISers?). I say animated because more of us will likely have those movies in our collections -hey, I know y'all haven't parted with those VHS's- and also I'm just a fan of more traditional stuff . Then we press play at the starting time -what a novel idea -. During and/or after the movie (when it ends, or the next day) we discuss it. Even though pretty much all we could pretty much talk about would be childhood memories of watching it or something .

Any thoughts/opinions (I know it may seem confusing ) Please tell me if this is a terrible idea. I'd really rather know.

Yeah.
I think i have mostly all the disney movies except those two.
But i love the idea.
Then we can get everyone back into watching the origanals.

That sounds fun. Um, its gotta be a weekend though. I don't have time during the week to watch/post. Plus, I don't have all of the movies with me. However if you let me know in advance maybe i can get them one way or another.

that's a great idea!!! we could all decide on a movie, go out and rent it.....and set a date for it!! that would be so awesome!!!

This is a GREAT idea! But I don't know if the time zones would match up... we'd have to choose a weekend, so it wouldn't conflict with school!

I would but it's that darned time difference and the fact I have quite a hectic life lately. xD

Neat idea but I don't think it would work. The UK DISers would have to watch it at a different time for it to work. Let's say it were to happen on 7pm ET on a Friday night, that would be 12am in London on Saturday morning. I would think it would be lame after a while.

That is the best idea Kayla, because that way everybody who wants to particpate can watch it when they have time.
