My DD is almost 13, and when we cruised on the Magic in 2001 she got sick one night when the water was a bit rough. We gave her Bonine right away and she got much better, but she couldn't stay awake the first half of the next day.
I've heard that the best "cure" is prevention and that she should begin taking the medicine before the cruise. My question is, since she's a few years older, do you think it will put her to sleep again? I don't want her to sleep through the cruise, but I don't want her sick either.
Anyone have any advice for teens and seasickness? She's always had a bit of a weak tummy, so I wouldn't put it past her to do a repeat performance.
