Ok, I just got off the phone with my grandpa aned I have to say I can't believe he makes it through life without knowing anything about technology. Does anyone else know people who don't know how to work cell phones, don't own computers, and are just so stubborn when it comes to trying to learn how to function in the present society?
I mean cell phones are easy, right? They're just like phones, except you flip it to open and close it. My grandparents can hardly figure out how to work that, and my other set refuses to buy one.
This is kind of random- but does anyone ever go inside Boston Market? Where I live they have these new drink machines with a touch screen. If one has that around your house and you want a good laugh go there at lunch time and watch people try to figure out how to work it (Sorry if you couldn't figure it out and I laughed at you heh)
So you get your ice and then you look at the screen which lists Coke, Water, Lemonade, and all types of different brands. When you touch it, it'll give you a hundred types of Coke or whichever you cliked on. There are so many options.
Anyways, I just thought considering practically everyone in America either has an iPhone or a friend who never stops using their touch screen device they would figure out how to get their drinks sooner... so it's funny to watch people stare at the screen and try to figure out how to magically get water out of it haha.
Wow, that was long. So, anyone have any stories about technology and people who just don't seem to want anything to do with it?
