No only should you celebrate your daughter's birthday, but also tell the CM's for your ADR's, that you are also celebrating a Personal Triumph!
Our upcoming trip was planned a year ago, to Celebrate my daughter's End of Chemo/End of Cancer. Our trip in 4 weeks will be almost 2 1/2 years OFF TREATMENT for my daughter but darned right we are celebrating!
What a wonderful way for you all to celebrate what I know has been more than a rough few years. I would LOVE to read a trip report from you when you are back!

After the postponement and all the health problems, it seems like we’ve been waiting ages for this trip to arrive! I didn’t think I could get any more excited about it, but your sweet and thoughtful posts have really helped me to get in the spirit of celebrating.

All these nice messages inspired me to make the most of it, and I just got off the phone with the Disney cake experts. I’ve ordered her a special birthday cake for our Chef Mickey’s dinner. I’ll be sure to take photos – she will be so surprised!

Tjbaggott – I’m so happy to hear that your family has triumphed over your daughter’s cancer – that’s wonderful news! I will try to take lots of pictures and post a mini-trip report when we return. I’m not the best writer, but I would love to share this with all of you – especially since you all inspired the birthday cake and celebration!

it sounds to me like she more than earned her birthday button. she is old enough to understand that she is wearing it now because she couldn't before and not because your mooching or anything, go have a great time and enjoy the free cupcakes disney can afford it.
