Technical Difficulties

This is the third night in a row I have attempted to get prices for Art of Animation for 7/2/12-7/12/12 and I keep getting a big red banner saying they are experiencing technical difficulties and you have to call WDW. I then tried to do the online chat and I couldn't get a response when I clicked on the chat button. Am I the only one having this problem?

The resort isnt slated to open until May 2012 and they are only taking reservations for disney resorts through December 31,2011 (meaning they dont have 2012 pricing available yet)..I just got the Mickey Monitor (the AP magazine) and its featured in this months issue. In yellow it says: Booking dates for Art of Imagination have not been announced yet. Make sure your email is registered at the disney passholder site. (you have to be a passholder to register on that site)

The early booking special for FL residents and AP holders isnt until Feb 18 2012. I'm sure general guests get to call and book several days later. I would like to think the rates will be available beofore then. Its a value resort and will most likely be the same as the others and pricing close to ASMu family suites.

It also says it will include more than 1100 Family Suites that sleep up to 6. (yes 1100) all with a handy kitchenette.

june 12th or whatever day it was you could book into next yr, AOA was able to be booked
i pulled up prices for july 4th 2012 week - they were about $50 a night more then then ASM and you could select only nemo
other who tried later dates could select nemo and cars - it is opening in stages so i assume you could select the section you wanted based on what was open
anyway not sure about right now but you could make reservations a couple of weeks ago online

Thanks for the help. It didn't dawn on me that just because the 2012 rack rates are already out for the whole year that you may not be able to book any dates you want for the whole year. I'll just keep trying on & off. I would need a decent discount to be able to afford AOA family suite anyways. It's just me & my husband and for the same $$ we could stay at a deluxe hotel and just pay oop for food.

Packages and room only bookings have a limit on how many days in advance they can be booked. Forget what it is exactly. Something like 499. Not saying that is the case here. But say if someone tried to book December of 2012, nothing could be booked.

if it is just you and your husband then why not stay at AOA in a normal room? the only choice for that is mermaid though
but it would save you lots of money

Because the Little Mermaid rooms are not scheduled to open until Nov/Dec of 2012.
