Tech question - downloading pics from my cell phone to my computer?

I thought someone on the boards might be able to help me out with this.

I need to download the pictures from my cell phone to my computer. I can e-mail them from my cell, but it takes a bit and I have about 60 pictures to send.

I am wondering if there is something I can plug into my phone to download the pictures onto my computer, kind of like a USB cable.

If you have any suggestions, PLEASE post them.

Doesn't the phone providers charge you for every picture you email? if so, I tend to think there's not an easier way to get those pictures off the phone. The company may provide an online interface/etc. Dunno.

Depending on what phone you have & what service, I think there is some wireless "Bluetooth" gizmo where you can just beam the pictures to your computer, asuming your computer is capable of installing the Bluetooth component.

BtW, you might want to go to this site, it is specifically for bloggers who have post pics from their camera phones. They might be able to help you figure out how to download to your computer.

Not sure of what phone but my Nextels I860 you use a DATA cable and their program to download .

My Nextel I870 has a removable card so I just drop that in it's adaptor and download from there.

Look up a user guide on the Manufactors web sight sometimes they have more info then your providers.
