I assume you get the texts after you finish recording?

I personally wouldn't want texts coming in while I'm recording video. I don't think there's anything for you to fix.

I am concern if someone needed to get a hold of me and if I don't answer in a half a second she blows up my phone but I gave her dh number for when I am recording and I explained to her when I record I don’t get notifications

Text her before you start recording and tell her you’ll be unable to talk/text for the next hour.

Favorite contacts with phone calls & texts might be able to breakthrough? I know favorites can when the Don’t disturb is on.

I do not put it on do not disturb I just hit record on my phone
