Hi all! Just trying to figure out a few last minute details. We leave in 12 days.

So, we are planning on doing BB for the first time. It will be me (37), DH (39), DD (6), DS (4), and DD (1). My mom may also come with us. I couldn't find any info on a height requirement for Teamboat Springs. Can my 1 1/2 year old go on this? If so, do we need to take the chair lift up for this? Can my little one do the chair lift? It said no infants on one site, but what do they classify as infants? If we take the chair lift, are there any other steps to do? My mom recently had knee replacement and doesn't do well with steps. I don't think she can wear her knee brace in the water (I'll have to check with her on that). so that will make it even harder for her. I'm just wondering if she can handle the family raft ride or not.

We plan on wearing water shoes and bringing towels. Anything else we need? Are arm band floaties allowed for my DS (4)? Or does my 4 year old need a life jacket? I'm hoping they have small enough life jackets for my one year old.

Thanks for any answers you might have!

Hi! We were just there this morning!

I would guess that you cannot bring your 1 1/2 yr. old on the ride...again, just a guess. No steps after the chair lift. Yes, she will love the ride if she can sit down and get out ok. At the end of the ride, you do have to step out on your own into some shallow water. If you are unsure if she should do it, go to the end of the ride and see the people getting out and you can judge better if she will be able to handle it. Yes, there are different sized life jackets for the kiddos. Your little one can wera the arm floaties, they do not provide them there. Your whole family can go on the lazy river together and enjoy it. Also, the wave pool will be a fun family place to hang out and cool off!

Go early...8AM if you are a resort guest, 9AM if not. No real crowds until about 10:15. We got there at 8:30AM (due to bus issues) and got everything done we wanted to by 10:30, including lazy river and wave pool. We rented a locker, found a place to lay our towels on (4 deck chairs) and went and played. You can even get a picnic table in theshade if it is more to your liking. Bring snacks, too. You get hungry faster when playing in the sun/water. The big locker (which is not really that big) is $12 to rent and you get $5 back when you return the key. Oh, yes, water shoes are a MUST!!!!
Good thinking!!

Hope this helps!!!

Yes, you can take your DD on Teamboat Springs. We were there last year and took our 2 yo DD (turned 2 that day) on Teamboat Springs. She loved it! Rode it 4 times in a row! She is pretty daring though since she can't let her 8 yo brother do something she cannot.

I walked up the steps with her. We didn't do the chairlift because the line is slow and does get long fast. If you don't do the lift though there are a ton, and I mean a ton of steps.

Both the kids had a blast. We are trying Typhoon Lagoon this September.

Not sure of the swimmies or life vests. My kids didn't wear them. But I'm sure you wouldn't be able to wear them on the slides. Have fun!
