I'm sure then all the LCD's are gone. :confused3

Ya never know. I'm sure they're not going to put EVERYTHING @ 75%. You know how most stores do. They put insignificant stuff @ a higher percentage off and the big ticket items start out low and then increase to a higher percentage.

If you decide to go this route, if you run into problems you know Jim will helo you with the Math stuff!:thumbsup2
Thanks, Janet. That's very sweet. :goodvibes I don't know if I could convince Baylie that math isn't hard if I had to call someone to help me! :lmao:

I think you and K really need to sit down and discuss all the pros and cons of each option and make a decision that way!
I agree. He pretty much says I'm an over thinkier and that I will beat myself up over anything I decide, so he's supportive of whatever I want to do.

It is not giving up but it is a big change and change, good or bad, is tough and leaves us with conflicting emotions. You have loved home schooling and it will be hard to go to something else. I deal with this now that I am working out side the home. Even though Bug can be with me while I am working at his school it is not the same and is hard at times. It has brought a lot of good also. I have a great drawing on my fridge of me and one of the after school kids. She even drew me thiner than I am :rotfl2:. I have found out that I like to work with older children as well as preschoolers. Still it is a big change. The great thing about changes are they can be changed. What ever you decide to do can be changed if it is not what works for you and your children.
And I still love home schooling. I would still be the one teaching them two days a week. :thumbsup2

I'm not a big fan of teaching other people's kids, so that's a factor too, but I'd get over it.

All I can add is that drinking and calculus don't mix 'cause you shouldn't drink and derive. :rotfl2:
:rotfl2:

That was so lame. But soooooo funny.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oh...and Dawn... darlin'.
:goodvibes Thank you, Jen.

Dawn, I'm right there with you. It can be very frightening to face the higher grade levels and to know that if they were in a traditional school setting they would be getting things we can't possibly offer (advanced labs for science is a biggie for me). We go back and forth between private school, dual credit at the local community college, and moving to be in a better district. And honestly, relinquishing the time is hard, but when #1 son got his full curriculum in a box this past year, I was amazed at my sense of relief. Spreading yourself out between 3 isn't easy and the "Momma, can you help me?" always seems to happen at once.

People here speak highly of the co-ops. I don't use them for various reasons, the most of which is that my accountability association requires that I teach 51% of his classes.

PM me any time you need or want to talk.

:grouphug:
Thank you! I'm glad to talk to my Fockers, but knowing you have experienced these feelings and survived makes it somehow less scary. :goodvibes

Well, for starters, I could never do it, so the fact that you have is amazing. Secondly, I don't like to hear you say things like "giving up" as it has nothing to do with what you CAN do and much more to do with what's good for the kids. I'm sure it's a hard choice, but you'll do what's right.
Thanks for the pep talk. I'm not quitting- just doing something different. :thumbsup2

It's hard to make those decisions, Dawn. I know you'll decide the right thing!
:goodvibes

OMGosh! Yeah, and not to mention all the time you're spending brushing out and putting your LONG hair in a bun. That takes HOURS. ;)
::yes:: True dat.

Mel said:
Oh, and no ADRs for Trex. It's walk-up only. :scratchin

MEL:smokin: (what the heck?)

Oh Meeeeel. You can now make ADR's for T-Rex. You call them directly. :teeth:

1-407-828-TREX
Thanks for the info. I just did ours. :hyper:

90 days out? :confused3
I was told 6 months when I called a second ago. At least I have one stupid ADR done now. :sad2: I still have a week from Monday before my 90 days. :rolleyes2

Dawn - Richard Petty Question. I got Jim the Ride Along for CHristmas (did I tell yo that?:confused3 ) do we need to call and make a ressie for him or do you just show up?

I am planning this for our break, no park day so i wanted to know if I needed to reserve him a space? Do you know what the earliest time is?
You just show up. If the tracks wet, they won't do it. I'm not sure how early they start. :confused3 You call call 1800-be-petty and ask. We went in the afternoon. :confused3

Dawn you've been given great advice you need to go with what is best for the whole family and what you're happy with
:goodvibes

PSA: I'm sure everyone has heard that Circuit City is calling it quits. Has anyone hit their sale?
We saw people standing around with closing signs by the corner this afternoon. The signs said 30% off.

The co-op idea sounds interesting. Can you do it by semester so if it's not working out she doesn't have to finish out the year or does it have to be like that for a year? Have you asked Baylie what she would like? I'd give it a try to see how it goes.
I'm not as worried about what Baylie wants, because I know it's best for her. It's A and C I wasn't sure about. But now I'm thinking I want to let them go full time too.

Also- one thing I didn't really say is that it's not a little rinky dink co-op of moms. It's a co-op run through my church with paid staff. That makes me feel more like it's well done. It is by semester, so I can try it in the fall and decide later about the spring.

I forgot to add that when I asked Camryn if she wanted to go to the school at church and be home with me still on T/Th, she said, "Okay." All that worrying and she's like 'whatever'. :rotfl:

Cool! I will have to check my 6 month date and at least make that ressie. I will make the other 3 in May. I just added Chef Mickey's to the plan. Jimmy wants to see Goofy and DOnald in addition to Chip and Dale. We will do Garden Grill for Chip and Dale and Chef Mickey's for Goofy and DOnald:thumbsup2

I told by dd to try and add some of you to her FB account. She is harmless but needs some friends to earn more coins in pet society. If you are comfortable adding her please do. She will indicate she is Margie's daughter on the request an is already friends with me and Kat. Speaking of Kat has she been here yet?

Figures, huh? ;)

Anyone see Ellen on QVC today selling pet products? All natural and good for them. I bought some cat treats to try. As Mitch is outside now making a bed for a cat who is in our yard all the time but looks too good to be stray. Although if she's eating sewit, I don't think she belongs to anyone. :sad2:

She can add me; I have a pet.

Hey all :) Hope everyone is having a good weekend... It's very quiet at work... Maybe I can get other stuff done this afternoon as well :)

I think I just found her and sent a friend request.

I'm having a very non-productive day because it is cold and we don't have any freakin water. We noticed a leak in the road last night and reported an emergency to the h2o co. They said they would send someone this am. I think they started working around 10 and they are still out there in the dark.

Ugh! That stinks! I would have had to go out somewhere. It would drive me crazy!

BTW, I keep sending invites to join Pet Society. :flower3: My requests seem to be getting ignored.

yuck
My moms pipes froze on Friday. She is out of town though so not much effect on her.

I read through everything earlier, but needed to make dinner. So, I'm not behind, but I didn't quote. Sorry. :)

Margie, I'd be honored. She's a stand-up gal. I have it open, I'll look for her.

The boys had mac & cheese, and I made some Buitoni fettucine alfredo (reduced fat ;)). I'm not very hungry though, for some reason, which is NOT a bad thing.

D may have landed now, but I didn't check and he's not called. We're trying to decide if we're watching a movie. It was such hard going yesterday to agree that I almost don't want to bother. :rotfl2:

Basketball was fun, as we played a team that our friend coaches, so I sat with the wife and we had a nice time. The boys did fine - our coach wasn't there, and I definitely noticed some, um, behavior that wasn't fantastic, but overall the boys had fun, and that's what matters! :thumbsup2
