I thought the special effects in SPeed Racer were great, but that the movie itself was bad! I don't think we are going to watch Indiana Jones tonight, I'm tired!

I have 2 loads of luandry left, but I will do them tomorrow!

I've been watching the football - sorry, Janet - and doing crossword puzzles, intermittently checking out ideas for where we'll ski tomorrow. I have somewhere I want to go, but it's likely to be crowded AND it's opening at 8:00. I don't want to get up to be there for 8:00.

D decided that he needed to do work tonight in order to be able to go tomorrow, so he's holed up in the dining room on the work laptop. I'm thinking I'll have a bath and wash my hair, so I don't feel so gross tomorrow, having not showered yet today. (look, I found a use for that guy! )

Oooh, and Janet reminded me that I need to move laundry out of the dryer. It's done, but needs to get upstairs before tomorrow, as it's got all the boys' warm sweaters.

Anywho...

Not sure if I'll be back, because it looks like no matter what, we'll need to leave the house by 7:30 or earlier. Everyone have a great night, and a great day off tomorrow (if you have one. If not, have a great day at work!)

I'm back from my scrapweekend. The retreat house was a nice cottage with an add on for a scrapbooking studio. When I got home my DH left to go skiing with DS. Tink and I are hanging out and I am about to fall asleep, I am so tired from my lack of sleep this weekend. I am going to go try to read a bit. Anyone care to help me out with the latest and greatest goings on of my fellow friends?

Well it has been a productive day here. Got a lot of school work out of the way. Did some laundry I still have a load in the drier. Both the kids and I have had upset stomachs today so there was no cooking to be done. I want to know what is wrong with my babies. While I do believe Nana has acid reflux that is not what is bugging her and her brother this weekend. Poor Bug was up last night with his tummy hurting and he puked and had bad diarrhea. He then again said he felt fine today. I kept him on the brat diet but why is he going through this. He is ill one minute and fine the next.
Bug also had us help him make a pretend car out of a box. I even got the paper plate steering wheel to be spinable. He has removable wings for it also in case he needs to fly it someplace.
I have to get up in the morning and shovel me and my mom out. I also have my first in service day to attend.

Hi Jen, Welcome Back It was a relatively quiet weekend. There was drunken spanish pirate night, but other than that not much happened.

Margie - I should add that Jimmy LOVED it, if that helps you any!?

Off to bed. We have to be at school for our MLK Day of Service event at 9:00am, so I probal won't check in until later in the day. AFter we re done at school we are going to check out CIrcuit CIty to see if we can get a decent deal on a new laptop. WE decided to ditch the TV until one of the one's we already have dies. WHy replace something that isn't broken, right? Our laptop on the other hand is soooo slow that we can't even load the PBS website onto it for Jimmy to play on it!

just checkin in !! well , the movers moved our crap, but .....................the house is not ready yet!!! still have to put trim up and carpet! we put all the upstairs stuff inot the master br which was finished and put everything else into the office on the 1st floor. we figured they can finish everything else and do office last. so, we're stil living with mom. hopefully they'll have it done this week sometime! we already paid security dep. and 1/2 rent for jan. so, he told us not to pay any rent for feb to make up for the house not being ready. it will be really nice when it's done. it just sucks waiting!!

Did anyone see SNL last night? I woke up just in time for a skit that was fun-ny! It was all in Spanish and supposedly written by a 4th grade class. They even said biblioteque, oh and my favorite word: hamberguesa (besides the obvious cerveza and vino).

So, I watched football this afternoon too. And did No school tomorrow here either, so I have to figure out what to do with the girls. We're going to the Y at some point, but I don't know what else. DD4 wants to go to the Bounce Zone, so I might check it out to see if they've got open bounce times tomorrow.

Hello Fockers!

KC worked his tail off all day finishing a project for his boss, so no PC for me. If you missed it, late last night I updated my TR tho!

I have been watching the King Of Queens Season 3 all day. Then we went out to Circuit City to see what they had....NOTHING. It's too early in their closing for the sales to be really good yet. We need a printer badly tho. Then we got some "street meat" for dinner, Halal from a cart near the house.

Thats when it started snowing! It's a nice dusting out there again. Yuck. I need to job hunt, but the weather and aunt flo are hindering me a lot. Plus I really need to get to the supermarket soon- we have only pork chops and some steaks in the freezer.

KC is snoring like crazy already (hes usually up as late as me) but he was so hot last night he couldn't sleep much. Poor guy. He works tomorrow as well. So I'm quietly typing here.

Thanks for the well wishes, Namath is doing OK. We got a little snow this morning which is the equivalent of puppy crack and he likes to bury his face in it. Well, with the cone he ends up scoopping the white stuff up and I had to empty the cone out when he came in

Of course now he is exhausted and falling fast asleep, though he is fighting, it, he has the head bob going now, I give him 30 seconds and he will be out!

Well, I bought work home this weekend and haven't looked at it yet, so I better get going.

I'm sure Doug will put Speedy on our Netflix picks. We did see IJ in the theater. I liked it. But then I have always been a fan of the IJ movies and Harrison Ford.

Lazy day for the Lazydoxy. I spent most of it with Max. He is doing so well. We have to keep a grip on him as he is wants to run and jump already. It's a good thing that the pain meds they gave us put him to sleep. Keeping him calmed down for 6 weeks is going to be tough.

Indiana property taxes are so screwy. Get this - I just received my 3rd property tax assessment for the year. The first 2 were for 2007. Lets just say I was not happy. They assessed us for $60,000 more than in 2006. I was too late to file an appeal due to the situation with my dad. I was going to have a realtor friend come this spring and file the appeal for 2008. Well, this latest statement, for 2008, is only $20,000 more than 2006. Now that I'll take. I still might have her come out just to see if it is still reflective of the rest of the properties around us. I'm betting that it is though. I honestly wish they would dump it and tax my groceries instead. I know there are pros and cons to that but they can't seem to find an assessment program that works.

I talked to Rockie last night. BTW she would love to be a part of the Fockers and the DIS, but she is way too busy. It is hard for me to get her to sit down and chat on the phone. 3 teenage girls and a 8-4 job keeps her on her toes. She basically told me to do what needs to be done with the plans for WDW. She said, "You got the connections. I trust whatever you decide." She did look through some of the menus I sent her. She said she liked the looks of all of them. Well that certainly narrows it down.

Focker Alert, Need Focker Help!
So here are my questions:
1. I booked the room and tickets with my credit card. Rockie is listed on the reservation. Can she call and make a payment on it with her own credit card?

2. I want to buy something extra for her birthday. I was leaning towards MNSSHP tickets. Now I'm wondering if I should do a spa thing instead. You guys got some feedback?
