She really shouldn't be by herself. My mother lives very close and goes over every day. Recently my mother has been "it's all about me". No idea where that came from and she loves telling people that my grandmother lives by herself.

My parents were in bad last night, my father asleep whilst my mother tossed about in pain. The phone rings my mother is in so much pain she can't answer so she woke my dad. My grandmother has a Medic Alert button and it was them saying the paramedics were on the way to my grandmother's. My mother gets dressed to go over there with my dad. My father can't deal with death at all so I'm sure he didn't even bother to tell my mom not to go with him. Turns out nothing was wrong. My grandmother's phone line has worked intermittently since Christmas. Wait until I get to that story! Then my dad wanted her to go watch the college basketball team practice. She did say no and she doesn't think she should go to the game tomorrow. It's hard to feel like doing anything for her if she's not going to help herself. She is all about, what would people think, irrationally so, so she thinks she needs to do everything herself. She's such a martyr about things and she loves it.

I'm slightly windswept, OMG I played golf today and I could hardly stand up straight as the wind was so strong. Even worse as the ground was wet they banned trolley's so I had to carry my clubs So I now ache

I have SIX grandkids if you can believe it. I was a very young grandmom. Seriously my son was 16 when he became a dad but his son is my best buddy and my traveling buddy. Anyway I have four grandsons; Jay will be 12 in August, Kyle was just 6, Mikey will be 4 in April and Anthony is 2 1/2 (3 in Sept). I have 2 princesses Crystal will be 6 in August and Ella is almost 15 months. Right now all but Anthony will be going next year. Hopefully my daughter and her BF will have jobs soon and will be able to come too. I am already starting my pretrip mode. I am really excited about this trip, can you tell?

The only golf I have ever played was miniature. I tend to hit the balls over the fence and cheat a lot so nobody likes to play with me. I really doon't understand why.

I got a temporary crown on Monday. Baby Girl grabbed my face and I told her not to because it hurt. So later, she came up to me and said, "I'm going to tell you a boring joke." I asked her why is was going to be boring and she said she didn't want to make me laugh.

I haven't uploaded my pics yet, but I will have to post pics from the Mickey's Grand Welcome package someone bought us.

We did the 3 day Wonder cruise over President's weekend. It was cold and the water was choppy. We didn't get to go to Castaway Cay. The Magic got stuck there and they ended up getting to the port a day late. We then spent 3 nights at SSR. Our 2nd night at SSR, we came back to our room and it was decorated. We thought for sure they got the wrong room, but there was a card with dh's name on it and a throw that had our name embroidered on it. The card was signed, "Thanks! From a grateful stockholder." We couldn't figure out who sent it, but when we got home, one of dh's co-workers told him he sent it.

I need to try and get out tomorrow, something's wrong with Rocky, drinking ALOT and going to the bathroom ALOT, I am giving him small doses of water and monitoring. Vet's office never opened today and I didn't want to go to the emergency vet, even if I could get there. he was going for his annual next Thursday so I will move it up to tomorrow and combine a visit.

We did the 3 day Wonder cruise over President's weekend. It was cold and the water was choppy. We didn't get to go to Castaway Cay. The Magic got stuck there and they ended up getting to the port a day late. We then spent 3 nights at SSR. Our 2nd night at SSR, we came back to our room and it was decorated. We thought for sure they got the wrong room, but there was a card with dh's name on it and a throw that had our name embroidered on it. The card was signed, "Thanks! From a grateful stockholder." We couldn't figure out who sent it, but when we got home, one of dh's co-workers told him he sent it.

Despite the weather, would you do the cruise again? Did the kids like it?

That is so cool about the decorations, etc. Can't wait to see the pictures.

Hey all. Left work at 4:00 to comletely dry roads. So, 2 school days lost for abolutely no reason Jim and jimmy picked me up and we went to the diner for dinner. They cancelled cub scouts (the church where he hold the meetings, not the pack), so the boys are outside having a snowball fight and playing in the snow. Me, I'm staying in the house where it is warm

No plans for the weekend really. Just talked to my friend Joy and she and her kids may come over tomorrow hafter ther DD's swim lesson to just hang out. All the kids are getting bored hangin out with just the grown ups.

I have luandry to do (shocking I know) and will have to go to the grocery store but that's about it.

I assume your talking about girl scout cookies? I heard about the wierd lemon cookies on the radio a few minutes ago. Did you get any of them?

So the week is almost over. I've turned in my term paper draft, and stayed up studying for my ochem midterm until 3 last night. Then i got up at 7, worked, and went to take my midterm. As soon as i finished it started pouring rain. Perfect timing since i had to go work on a study outdoors. as soon as we finished and all our papers were soaked, the rain stopped and sun came out. Seriously it was less than 2 minutes after we finished the last trial. grrr.

Tonight i am cleaning the house and trying to go to bed early. I have a field trip at 3:30 am Trudging around in the water watching ducks. But then i get to come home and guess what i'm doing!? My mom, grandma, and sister are coming up and I finally get to go wedding dress shopping. It's been 3 years of being engaged and I finally be looking for dresses!

anyway, ive got to go eat my dinner and begin my unwinding.

We saw a bride recently riding in on Cinderella's carriage to the Rose Garden pavilion.... my Maddie was completely enchanted by the whole thing. I think I'm raising a Disney bride.

i just had to pop back in because im very upset/mad.

A few weeks ago i finally tacked down our trip to DL for wedding planning stuff. I scheduled meetings on a friday with our photographer, florist, and with Disney. Marc and I are supposed to go with our best friends brad and cynthia. Since this is my spring break It was really the only oppportunity i have to schedule these meetings before the end of june or maybe even september. I was really pushing to get it done early because i have so much to worry about during school. So our friends requested time off, and we booked the hotel room. When marc went to request his time off, they decided to announce that that week is the summer review training week. The only day that really conflicted was friday and they finally got around to talking to him over a month later, and now they say absolutely no way can he miss it even though he just renewed that specific course/certification.

So now i dont know what to do. It kind of defeats the purpose to go to all these meetings without marc, and I cant make the decisions by myself. But I also dont have another opportunity to make this trip for several months. Grrrrrr! I feel like its a lose lost situation. Any thoughts? Should we still go to the meetings without marc, or wait and try and figure out how to go another time. my brain and my heart hurt....and im so tired.

Our furnace is up and running again ... That was panic city yesterday !! In the midst of a winter storm we have NO Heat!!!! Well we had an awesome repair man who found the part we needed after searching the entire warehouse and he fixed it !!!!
Any way of course it wasn't cheap soo now I am wondering if I can swing this September trip I was hoping for !!!! I need some FUZZY MATH!!!!

Been a taxi all day today The girls have both had clubs this morning then I ran Ellie to the supermarket to buy some new clothes as she is now at her friends for a party and sleepover. As it's the weekend Jess has been baking, I've restricted her to weekends only otherwise I'll be the size of a house She made little cupcakes, half lemon with lemon buttercream and the other half choc chip with chocolate buttercream. She made them into butterfly cakes so they look cute

My hayfever started fully yesterday thanks to golf and this morning I woke up with very puffy eyes They've only just gone doen now and it's almost 5pm

Tomorrow I have a golf match at the course I played yesterday and it's meant to pour plus I'll have to carry my bag again, why did they choose me to play?

Not much going on here, just watching (happily) as the snow melts!

No fires near us, Janet, I didn't even hear about any!?

Trying to get our whole month's menus planned and my recipe box updated and organized. It's kinda a pain but should save us some money, I hope.

KC is off tomorrow because we are going to our friend's daughter's 1st birthday party. We might also have breakfast with my in-laws, which would be a first! I don't believe that till it actually happens.

Tonight is late night grocery shopping (the supermarket is open till 11) because its nice and quiet after 9pm.

Hope everyone's having a good weekend! I'm off to catch up on my threads.

I am making the menu for the week and the sopping list and tomorrow will be shopping and laundry. Jim and Jimmy finally go back to school on Monday and then we are supposed to get MORE snow Thursday into Friday

Honestly, unless he's REALLY in to the wedding planning, I'd just go without him. My DH wasn't into at ALL, so I made all the decisions with my mother, SIL and BFF and just showed him later what I decided. JMO.

Well, we had our first cookie booth in the pouring rain today. It wasn't bad... the girls sold 54 boxes in 2 hours.
Tomorrow we have another booth and hopefully it's going to be sunny!
