Hey, everyone!

Sorry to be MIA. D got home Friday night, and it's been a little non-stop ever since. Tree shopping, decorating, present shopping, dinner parties, etc. etc. Tonight is yoga and then the card photo shoot. Maybe I'll get these puppies out before Christmas after all!

D has a trip tomorrow and Friday, so I may have a better chance to keep up.

But, we're expecting a total nasty snow storm. Janet, Kat, is this happening to you, too? 'Cause we went to the bus at -9 Monday morning, but it was 57 this morning. And then this big storm coming... And of course D's going to leave...

So, it's good I went shopping today, because I think we'll have at the least some early dismissals or late starts for school over the next day or two - with possibly a snow day. I think I've finished D's dad, and most of his stepmom - one more thing from amazon.com, probably. I finished my cousin and both her kids, the one aunt I'm buying for, the stepsister we got in the family drawing on that side... Plus a birthday present for a party the boys are doing on Friday.

Woohoo! I have partial gifts for my parents, but I need to finish them and get Dr. Belle and the cousin's husband completely. D's mom & stepdad get charitable contributions in their names, so that's easy and we often wait until Christmas Eve to do it. But, my list is getting smaller.

I read from last night, where I hit the bookmark by accident, so that it reset all my "last read" bits but that's it.

So, a woohoo to Rosie, a feel better Reid to Angela, a welcome home to Jo & Jen & Slate, a sleep better to Kat, and a "hi" to everyone else. whom I'm sure I'm forgetting. Oh, yeah, I hope TE's household improves all around.

I got cards so far this week from Mo, Janet, Michelle, and Lessa. Thanks, they are all lovely! Michelle, thanks, too, for the bracelet.

I swear, mine are coming. If we get a picture tonight, I'll likely order them to be printed at Walgreen's (did that last year, and they were ready by the next morning...) and so maybe mailed by the weekend...

I need to go shower. If we want to do our "photo shoot" tonight, I need to be showered up before taking the boys to yoga and so on.

Well, I am feeling WAY productive! I have my desk cleaned off (a majah job!), the card addresses all sorted out, labels printed, lists made for what I have already bought, and lists for what I need to get or make. I loaded the dishwasher, did 3 loads of laundry and showered! GO me!

I have to pick up kiddos in about an hour. Then I am going to try to harrass them into letting me take their picture. I want a NEW one for the Xmas cards, but you know how crabby kids can be about POSING. I think I might be able to talk them into it though. (I'm going to bribe them!)

Tonight we are having eggs, hashbrowns, toast and veggie sausage for dinner. I just have such a craving for breakfast for dinner!

I think I'll try to get my cards addressed tonight while Bob is working on his stuff downstairs.

Oh no! Thanks for standing up for me, I just saw that all the posts related to it were deleted. I also saw that Alek posted a comment due to it being quoted but I don't know all of what he said. I'll have to e-mail him. You guys are great friends. I never imagined the day when something like that would happen on my TR!
