This is the place for Team Focker Watch members to congregate, chat, etc. Wanna talk about your latest lime green clothing score? Post it here! Gave someone the Lime Look and want to share? Post it here! Got pictures or tales of other TFW members you've met? Post them here!

As always, all are welcome. But who are we, anyway????

It all started with one woman's dream... a dream of finding a way to non-verbally acknowledge a fellow DISer across a crowded park...

Summer 2006: a terrific DISer named Lisa posed the question of how to acknowledge all those Lime Green Mickey Heads (LGMH's), lime green Crocs, lime green Baggallini's, lime green DISERS, when one is standing in line or otherwise unable to engage in conversation.

The answer? Robert DeNiro's infamous "I'm Watching You Focker!" gesture from Meet the Parents, now known as the LIME LOOK!

What followed was the joining together of many DISers willing to give the Lime Look to other DISers. We've come a long way, baby!

We are TEAM FOCKER WATCH!

One rule:
Let's keep it clean! We all know how much fun one can have with the name Focker, but let's refrain from inappropriate word-plays with it on the boards, k?

Want to see what we were up to before Part 7? Click here for Part 4. Click here for Part 5. Click here for Part 5.5. Click here for Part 6.
If you can find Parts 1, 2 and 3, you get an automatic 200 Focker points. ;)

:lmao:

I know - we keep saying that, but I'm not noticing any discernible improvement!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I just remembered something exciting, but scary, that happened while we were at DHS Sunday - we were watching Lights, Motors Action and they had just started the final shot. The hero on the motorcycle went down, coming off a ramp - it looked like the bike slid out and he went rolling. Everything just halted for a few minutes - no one spoke to the audience at all - while a couple people on set ran over to assess the situation. Then they announced that he was injured and the rest of the show was canceled. It took a long time to empty the arena, and in that time we saw them erect a tent around the injured driver, so the audience couldn't' see anything, and an ambulance arrive. Scary stuff. We had a long talk with Leo about the inherent dangers associated with stunt driving. Just saw this in the news: http://www.wesh.com/news/17871722/detail.html

Goodness, V...

Hope the actor improves quickly.

:wave: I'm here.

I had heard about the injury yesterday and meant to ask if you had been there then. That is scary. Poor Leo. Was he upset?:hug:

At least I got here on page one...maybe 2 by the time I finish w/ the quotes...before I leave tomorrow!

Kat: I'm reading the first Sookie book "Dead until Dark" and I ended up not even reading last night. I'll get there I have to catch up to Yani who finished it before me in like a DAY!!!

I can't believe you'll be in the Motherland in 1 day!!!!! :yay: :yay:

I plan to re-read the series before season 2 of True Blood comes out...so ic an remember how it was supposed to happen! I just started the first book in the series "The Hollows" by Kim Harrison- so far it's GREAT!

looks like you had a great time kat! i can't believe you're going to wdw!!! i'm so excited for you! i think it's just what you need. if i don't "see" you, have a wonderful time!!:goodvibes

I KNOW it's what I need, a little trip to WDW to re-up the happy feeling! WDW = best therapy ever!

OMG How flippin adorable!!!

And what is it with people and no respect for personal space? Every time the line moved I would wait and step up a little less so I'd have more room to work with, but I swear the woman behind me wanted to touch me. :sad2:

NEVER come to NY! People love to be all up in your personal space...I HATE that!!!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have so much to do but I am kinda tired from yesterday. I couldn't even sleep late today tho, I know from excitement! I need to clean up and fix up the suitcase and finish filling my carry on bag. I actually made it with one carry on rolling bag and one tote bag! :woohoo:
KC is working in the morning so he's taking the rolling bag with him and I am meeting him in the city and only have the tote to carry!
I'm so excited!!!!! I am in complete denial tho, it doesn't feel like we are going! It prob won't until we get to the airport! Even then it's kinda weird because we don't usually use that airport so it'll be weird too!
Anywho, I'm sure Ill be checking in today since I'm antsy as heck!
:scared:
I'm glad the guy is in stable condition.
And, um, this sounds terrible but why did they have to treat him like a race horse?
NO STUNT ACTING FOR LEO! :thumbsup2
Just had to share....
The girl is sitting here with me and saw the little Focker in the siggies....she is cracking up and doing it back!!!
I am rolling!!!
Well,dang....lost my quotes on the way over. :mad:
janet--they usually vote absentee, but my Nana wanted to go herself so dad is taking her---she said she hadn't missed an election since she was 21. (??Abraham Lincoln??? ;) )
My bathroom is done! :banana: :banana: Now I'm cleaning it and will go get new handtowels and a rug! :thumbsup2
Daran's cousin, Mike, is SO great---he's a contractor but out on disability with his back, so he's been doing some jobs for my dad and the family. My house would look like......well......not good.......without him!:thumbsup2
V: Ooh. That's awful. I hope the poor guy recovers. They don't give any clue in the article as to WHAT happened to him! Still, that's a dang good record if they do that show 3,4 or 5 times a day and have for 2 years now, without an injury!
Dawn: Glad you got some medicine! Relax and enjoy the peace....
T: Voting was pretty calm there, huh? I always marvel that CA elected a Republican governor....:confused3
***********
Loving the new thread title! Funny! :rotfl:
Voting wasn't too bad. When we got to the church the line went outside the door (about 12 people spilling out) and it took about 50 mins. to get in, wait in line and vote. I walked over to the church and Gus rode his bike. Then we walked the 1/2 mile or so to the corner to our new gourmet mkt. I had a 1/2 chicken salad roll-up, and veg. minestrone soup. Gus had 1/2 a turkey, swiss on pepper/olive foccachia and we shared a green tea. Yum! Even better is that they have an AMAZING deli with prepared foods and I picked up already cooked, breaded chicken breasts for dinner. I'm going to dip them in buffalo sauce, serve on buns with lettuce, tomato and ranch! Instant Dinner!!! Yay!!!
So, now that I have all this free time.....what to do, what to do.....
Ha.
Kidding.
I'm lying on the couch!
MEL:laughing:
he he......like the new Focker Version 7 title V! :lmao:
Mel---yes, my eye is still really black and blue......and yellow around the edges. I tried makeup today but that didn't seem to help much. Hey--is this font looking big to you? I was trying to make my whole computer font bigger and now it looks huge to me. :confused3
Wow, V---hope the guy was ok--did you ever hear? That really is a real show.
