I believe to save some money before their first family Disney trip, Jo, her DH, and 2 DD's went on holiday (see, I can be British!) to Scotland, in what we'd call an RV. She calls it a caravan. ;)
It was our second trip, the first one was only meant to be a one off :rotfl2:

V doesn't blow eggs. :rotfl2:
Sorry V, I can't help myself.
OMG :rotfl2: and enjoy a restful weekend :hug:

Jo, how big is your oven that a 14 inch pizza is big? Can we see a pic? I am really interested in this for some reason?
:rotfl2:See reply to Janet above, it's a regular UK sized oven :rotfl2:

Well it's almost 5am and I'm up. We are sleeping in shifts so one of us is up with the cat, just in case.
Hope it all went well :hug:

Not sure where Friday came from, but it's here. And I'm not at all prepared for Easter. :eek: I just asked the boys when they want to do eggs, and #3 said "we usually do them on Easter Eve"...so I'm off the hook for today :rolleyes1
Phew :rotfl2:

Oh, thank goodness! I found them! Pshew! :rotfl:
Good :rotfl2:

Delta and Omicron both passed their Karate testing last night!
Wooohooooo

My alma mater's hockey team is now in the National Championship game tomorrow night! Last night's semi-final game was awesome!!
Fantastic :woohoo:

Dad came home yesterday---he had pneumonia again but responded well to IV Levaquin. He will be on oxygen for a while---the Rheumatoid arthritis has hit his lungs.:sad2:
:hug:

They have been outside since 11 but have managed to track sidewalk chalk dust all through the kithen, family room, foyer and then into the toy room. I think I'm with V and want a do over.
:hug:

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! I wish you were all here to celebrate with me. Epcot was nice at 9.00 when I got there. :goodvibes I just walked around taking some pictures, after I bought a disposable camera because my battery was dead. :headache: Then I went shopping with my CG. I'll post pictures after my battery charges. It's so nice to have people tell you H.B. and nice to say to people that have the same b'day as I do. :thumbsup2
Sounds fun :thumbsup2

I keep sleeping way too late, I woke at 7.30am and went back to sleep till gone 9 :faint: Not good :rotfl2: After David did some work we went to go for a 5 mile walk, we'd chosen the route packed some snacks etc, we drove to the spot walked for about 10 minutes when we came to a sign saying footpath closed :rotfl: We ended up just finding our own route which was about 2-3 miles so the girls were let off lightly :thumbsup2 We then watched a silly film this afternoon and the girls are now making chicken pasta bake!!!

Is it a holiday weekend there? Here we're off today and Monday so lots of people go away!

Oh CE :eek::rotfl2: Ans so sorry about your friend hope she makes a full recovery :hug:

What? :angel: :rotfl:

And thanks. :hug: As I said, it's not that we're that close, it's just sad all around.

It was our second trip, the first one was only meant to be a one off :rotfl2:

Oops, sorry. ;)

It's not official - lots of communities are off but not banks, etc. We're not off because we get the week off in 2 weeks. :confused3

Morning all. :wave:

I had a crappy night. No pun intended. Bad stomach pains, crampy awful tummy issues. I feel horrible. :sick: On the flip side I lost 3 pounds. :lmao:

I read and whilst I'd love to sit here and quote, it's just not possible. :scared:

I do see some Fockers needs :hug: for loved ones, friends and furbabies.
:hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug:

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELA!!! :banana::bday::banana:
Have fun at Epcot! :flower3:

I'll try to check back and see how Kat's doing with Bale. Take care everyone! :goodvibes

We decided to take him to the vet regardless, in the morning, and see what happens. I am prepared for the worst but hoping endlessly for the best.

:hug: I hope everything turns out alright.

Happy Birthday!

Did you watch the Colbert Report last night? He had a funny bit on hedgehogs! :rotfl2:
no I didnt see it. Now i have to go look it up on youtube!

Dad came home yesterday---he had pneumonia again but responded well to IV Levaquin. He will be on oxygen for a while---the Rheumatoid arthritis has hit his lungs.:sad2:

:hug: I'm sure your glad to have him home.

Dawn- Good luck witht he showing. I hope you have a great picnic.

BTW Yes i do share a house with my roommates. :rotfl2: 2 other guys. ones a grad student and the others a dominos delivery guy:lmao:

Around 8:30pm he decided he wanted a drink and started drinking water. Then about a half hour later he was meowing for dinner, which we gave him and he slowly ate over a while. These are good signs. His body temp seems to be up more too, he was freezing before. And he's much more responsive.

We decided to take him to the vet regardless, in the morning, and see what happens. I am prepared for the worst but hoping endlessly for the best.

Kat, you have been in my thoughts. This is something a dread happening when Ace gets older. I am so sorry for you and Bale :hug:.

Not much planned for today. I have a small garden that I need to tear up from last year's failed vegetables and this year I'm going cut flower in there instead. Something is bound to grow there besides weeds.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good luck with the garden, we live in an apartment it would be nice to have some ground to try to grow something in.

Tracy: :hug: just cuz. You are very good to Bill.

My mom is leaving tomorrow morning. I love her but man I am so ready to get my house back. I never really got it completely picked up and clean after my Disney trip. Then I ended up in the hospital and not able to do anything. Then she came and I figured, "Why do it NOW?"
I am going to scrub this place top to bottom on Sunday!!!!! (Yes, I know it's Easter.....)

So, what is everyone else doing?

MEL:banana:

Thank you Mel :hug:. Please take it easy on the cleaning, I know you want to scrub, but make sure to listen to your body. Sorry for being a mother hen, I can't help it.

Oh, thank goodness! I found them! Pshew! :rotfl:

I do those mass decluttering sessions then I lose stuff too, Bill just shakes his head and laughs at me.

Morning! Full Moon Fever going on here... sinus headache, my pants are fitting funny, I dropped half a chocolate donut down the front of me and I can't type. :headache: I want a do-over!

Sorry to hear about how your day is going, I hope it goes better.

Love the shirts, Used to have a MIL like that but NOT ANYMORE :dance3: Sorry, I know it doesn't help you but I just realized it has been a full year since I have seen my ex In laws!!!

But you do need to get some sleep and take care of yourself. If you don't who will be able to care for BIll then?

Thank you. Oh I had a MIL that was about 50 times worse than Bill's mom. She really is a sweet woman, she is just OCD about cleaning.

I plan on sleeping in Saturday :thumbsup2, we will see if that happens.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Delta and Omicron both passed their Karate testing last night! Then we picked up another child from the tball team, ate dinner at sonic and went to tball practice. Went home and colored easter eggs. Omicron had to take one to school and pretend it was a baby. I wrapped it in an old baby sock. Sorry I have no pics because my camera broke a month ago and I haven't replaced it yet!
Congrats to Delta and Omicron!! I think I would die without a camera !!
Dad came home yesterday---he had pneumonia again but responded well to IV Levaquin. He will be on oxygen for a while---the Rheumatoid arthritis has hit his lungs.:sad2:
Ooo......do you get to Pigeon Forge often?? I live about 3 hours or so from there.
TE :hug:, your Dad will be in my prayers, it is so frustrating when a parent is sick, you want to fix everything and you can't :sad1:.
We were in Pigeon Forge last September and December. I am not sure when we will go this year, Bill's parents built a "log home" (she gets annoyed when I say cabin :lmao:) last spring on Bluff Mountain. They rent it out when they aren't there. If anyone wants to see pictures of it I took about a million of them.
Morning Fockers!
I read through but didn't retain anything. :( I didn't get to bed late and Linds was up at 7:30 and DR up at 8 and they have both been holy terrors since then.
I hope your day got better :hug:.
Then I went shopping with my CG. I'll post pictures after my battery charges. It's so nice to have people tell you H.B. and nice to say to people that have the same b'day as I do. :thumbsup2
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I can't wait to see your pictures. I am living through your Disney stuff, October is too far away.
I keep sleeping way too late, I woke at 7.30am and went back to sleep till gone 9 Not good
Jo, apparently you need to sleep, must be all that walking :rotfl:.
I had a crappy night. No pun intended. Bad stomach pains, crampy awful tummy issues. I feel horrible. :sick: On the flip side I lost 3 pounds. :lmao:
So sorry you were sick, I hope you get better soon :hug:.
Is it a holiday weekend there? Here we're off today and Monday so lots of people go away!
It's Good Friday of course--the girls are off today and Monday...Daran is off today.....my mom isn't off at all as she works for the State and they get off weird holidays like Election Day but not important ones like today.
Are you all dyeing eggs? I have to get some coloring for them---probably do them tomorrow and hide on Sunday at my MIL. She says she's just buying plastic ones and putting money in them!
Angela---glad u had fun at Epcot. Would love to be there too! :goodvibes
My dad built a log cabin---actual cabin!---last year on his farm---they love it---it has a little porch and wood stove and little beds..........well, last Sat nite they decided to spend the night in it............and he ended up in the ICU the next morning. :headache:
Apparently damp cold cabins and wood smoke are not all that good for folks coming down with pneumonia. :confused3
(just checked on him cause he's home alone---he's ok--I'm on call and bringing a pork roast and taters for dinner!)
Jo, thanks for the pics of the caravan. We are taking mama's RV next week up the mountain for a few days. It looks nothing like those. But I am sure I will think of you often while we are there. :)
:hug: Kat. I am reading your TRs now. Starting with "Meet The Garcia's....DL first timers!! **Update 7/22- 3 days updated and an ending!** "
Are you all dyeing eggs? I have to get some coloring for them---probably do them tomorrow and hide on Sunday at my MIL. She says she's just buying plastic ones and putting money in them!
We dyed eggs last night. Our dye wasn't bright enough so we used Kool-Aid! The blue and Orange eggs were beautiful!
Jodi, congrats. :cheer2: My dad went there too so I'll have to tell him they won.
THanks, Angela. You can tell him that the championship game is on tomorrow night at 7pm on ESPN. I'm wearing my RedHawks Hockey T-shirt right now! :banana:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Just checking in to see if Kat had been around. Or Dawn.

I just tried to take the girls shopping for new dresses for Easter and DD5 had an absolutely meltdown in the middle of Kohls. She wanted a "sparkly" dress and of course, being a size 5, dresses her size are more "little girl" than the ones that DD7 was looking at. When I explained to her that the dress she liked didn't come in her size, she had an absolute meltdown. So, we left. I had warned them before we went shopping that they had to behave or we would leave. Guess she learned that Mama was serious! :mad:

So, I think I'll take DD7 back out after DH gets home from work. I feel sorry for her since she didn't misbehave. I figure I'll take her out to check out the Kohls closer to our house by herself. princess:

How many hours until school starts on Monday???? :rotfl2:

We're home... :goodvibes

We didn't do a picnic at the park because the air quality is horrible here with the wild fries up in the panhandle. My chest hurts from breathing the air. :sick: We ended up hanging out at the pet store and going by my friends' house to chat for a little while.

There wasn't a business card on the island, so I'm not sure if that's a good sign or not. But, while we were out we got a call for another showing tomorrow morning! :yay:

I'mnot sure what our plans are this weekend now. We were going ot an egg hunt at the church, but with the smoky and haze, it would be bad for those of us with asthma. We may just do eggs and an art project instead.
It's supposed to rain Sat night and Sunday morning, so we'll see what happens with showings and egg hunts, I guess. :confused3

TE- We're pretty much done with dance except the recital the first week of June. Thank goodness. I was tired and going broke! :dance3: ;) But, the girls both have try-outs in May for the team in Austin they want to dance on when we move.
Hugs for your family and Daddy. :hug::hug:

Kat- Still thinking of you. :hug:

Angela- What'd you buy? popcorn::

T- Sounds like a sh*tty night... :lmao:
Sorry. I couldn't resist! :rotfl2:

Uh, I know there was more, but my brain's not firing on all cylinders right now! :confused3 :rotfl:

So sorry you were sick, I hope you get better soon :hug:.

Thanks! I started reading your PTR, BTW. :)

Yeah... thanks Dawn. :rolleyes:

I had a crappy night. No pun intended. Bad stomach pains, crampy awful tummy issues. I feel horrible. :sick: On the flip side I lost 3 pounds. :lmao:

Oh, I'm sorry, T. But, I have to quote your favorite line, "I'm just one stomach flu away from my goal weight!" :hug:

I do those mass decluttering sessions then I lose stuff too, Bill just shakes his head and laughs at me.

So glad I'm not the only one! ;)

So, I think I'll take DD7 back out after DH gets home from work. I feel sorry for her since she didn't misbehave.

::yes:: I hate punishing both for one's bad behavior. Have fun!

Let's hope for a bidding war! ;)

********************************************************
I went out for a bit and hit Target - I needed lotion and a toothbrush - exciting stuff, I know. :lmao:

I'd normally be thinking that I have just a little bit before the bus, but since they're riding around the loop to the playdate... Freedom! :cool1: :rotfl2:

Still thinking of Kat. :hug:

I need someone to take on the mighty task of reminding me next year to get Easter stuff early. Well, at least not to wait until the Friday before :confused3 DH just called from Target.

Nothing.

Not a bunny to be found.

He's on his way to World Market where the boys will end up with some fancy-smancy chocolate shaped like the Eiffel Tower.

I hope you're feeling better now. :goodvibes

She says she's just buying plastic ones and putting money in them!
That's what I'm doing for Reid. :thumbsup2 Only one piece chocolate inside and only 10 eggs. I don't want to get scolded for giving him too much candy. Although I did buy him Peeps, but they're fat free right! ;)

My dad built a log cabin---actual cabin!---last year on his farm---they love it---it has a little porch and wood stove and little beds..........well, last Sat nite they decided to spend the night in it............and he ended up in the ICU the next morning. :headache:
Sounds like cool house, but I hope your dad feels better soon! :hug:

Smart idea! :)

But, while we were out we got a call for another showing tomorrow morning! :yay:
:cool1: Awesome. I don't know if I told you or not, but my parents bought our house in Dallas on Super Bowl Sunday while the Cowboys were playing. They couldn't understand why the family didn't leave for the showing. :rotfl:

The shirt is for my mother, the Star Wars people are for Reid and the placemat for the cats. :goodvibes I went over by $30ish. The backing on the pin has seeds imbeded in it so it can be planted. :thumbsup2

We thought that DH would hear something about this job today but so far nothing and it is almost 3! On the bright side, he did manage to land a side job ~ an addition to a smallish church. It should keep us fed for another month.

I still miss a steady paycheck though.

All the engineers and IT and go out for lunch on Fridays. It is 7 of us (5 single guys between 19-27 without kids, my manager, and myself) and since I drive a 12 passenger van guess who always gets stuck driving? That's right, me! I wouldn't mind except the entire way they poke fun at my van (hey we have 5 kids, yes there will always be at least one bag of food, one old sippy cup, 10 pieces of important papers floating around, extra changes of clothes, and random toys sprinkled in every seat). And it will always smell like pee or spoiled milk. If you don't like that then drive your own d### car!

Angela- cute stuff! That's the Mickey/polka dot stuff I bought with my bday money. I got two of the tall cups (for K and me), 3 little cups (for the kids), a placemat, two little bowls, one big bowl. Then I got a cookie cutter and a mickey head ice tray. I thought we could get solid lime green plates and have some great summer cook outs. :cloud9:

Hopefully at our new house that has a pool! ;) :rotfl:

That's funny that the Cowboys fans wouldn't leave! :lmao:

CE- I like the way you think.:thumbsup2

I'm off to nap. The smoke and junk in the air just gave me a real scare. All of the sudden my chest hurt so bad I sarted crying. Then I couldn't breath. Baylie called Kirt and scared the snot out of him. I couldn't talk because I was in such pain and crying. :sad1: I told him he didn't have to, but he's coming home. I feel better now that Baylie found an inhaler for me. But my chest still feels weird, like I have food stuck in my throat/chest. It's uncomfortable more than painful now. :guilty:

I'll check in later. Still no news from Kat?

Deb I hope you are feeling more and more part of us Fockers :cool1:We have had many a laugh:laughing: about Jo's Caravan and my computor skills:rotfl2:
Now I need to wish someone a

Happy Birthday
Angela !!
I am off to work in a few and work till 11pm
