Hi All!!! :wave: Remember me?

Hi, Z! :hug:

CE: Hugs for Michelle :hug: and I'm hoping my boys forget about eggs too. Just don't have it in me today. Ugh.

Thanks! I know I'm awful about the eggs, but it makes such a mess, and no one here eats them, either. So I make a big mess, we admire them for a few minutes. They stay in the fridge for a few days, and then they get tossed.

I may be being too practical here. I know it's fun, but... :rotfl:

My mom is leaving tomorrow morning. I love her but man I am so ready to get my house back.

You're going to be hearing this from me in a couple of weeks... D's mom comes in next Thursday through Sunday. I MAYBE get a week, where possibly D's aunt will come for a day or an overnight, because the next Sunday, D's dad and stepmom come. They won't stay long, but then it will be the middle of April break week, so there will still be people (OK, my kids and DH :rotfl2:) in the house all day.

I'll be ready to lose it by then. :eek: I like my alone time. :lmao:

Have fun at Ikea! :)

**********************************************
I fear that in my mega-cleaning last weekend, I recycled a small stack of Math Superstars that I was supposed to grade and return. It was at most, 3 papers, but... :scared1:

Do you think anyone will notice if I just give the kids credit on my tally sheet, but never return the paper? :rolleyes1 Is that awful? (I think I'll be able to tell if they did it or not, by what I have in this week's stack - and there is no score - it's just the doing it that counts. I make an X in the weekly column, whether they're all right or all wrong.)

Thank Goodness, CE!!! (Although, for the record, I was all for just marking them down....LOL)

MEL

Morning! Full Moon Fever going on here... sinus headache, my pants are fitting funny, I dropped half a chocolate donut down the front of me and I can't type. :headache: I want a do-over!

Nothing else new. Leo's off to his dad's again after school, but will be back Easter morning. We don't do more than a basket full of junk for Easter, so I have no plans. Maybe a beach day...

Pixie dust and good thoughts for her, please. :wizard:
Absolutely. :wizard:

V doesn't blow eggs. :rotfl2:
Sorry V, I can't help myself.
:lmao::lmao::lmao:
I'm skipping the family festivities on Sunday. I won't be off until 6 am that morning. After the 2 weeks I just had I'm gonna get some good sleep.
Sounds good to me! :hug:

Well it's almost 5am and I'm up. We are sleeping in shifts so one of us is up with the cat, just in case.
:hug: Thinking of you Kat.

:faint: Good luck! And...

Happy Bday Angela!

Thank Goodness, CE!!! (Although, for the record, I was all for just marking them down....LOL)

MEL

Thanks. I was feeling a little guilty, but... ;)

Morning! Full Moon Fever going on here... sinus headache, my pants are fitting funny, I dropped half a chocolate donut down the front of me and I can't type. :headache: I want a do-over!

Aw, I'm sorry. Here's hoping that the day gets better! :hug:

I'd like a beach day... :thumbsup2

Absolutely. :wizard:

Thank you. :hug:

________________________________________________________________

Kat, you're on my mind. I am off to volunteer and hit the grocery store. I'm cooking, apparently, no matter where we end up on Sunday (D & John are thinking that maybe Michelle's DH and DD's would come to John & Deb's house, being closer to the hospital. But I don't think I shared that Deb, the pilot, is in the Far East until sometime either tomorrow or Sunday. Therefore she won't be able to do much, if any prep - so that even if we go there, I'll be in charge of food...) and so I need to get food, and maybe make a Target run.

Anyway, I won't be back for a while, so please know you're in my thoughts. :hug::hug::hug:

Morning Fockers! :)
Kristel~ Thanks for the update
Deb There is also another thing we pick on Jo about :lmao:and that is a caravan !! :rotfl2:This has led to many a joke and giggle !!:laughing: So if you get awarded a fortnight in Jo's caravan be prepared !!:scared1: I am sure someone will post pix !! We need our new Fockers to be in on our jokes !!
Did I miss the reply on filling me in about the IP/Dip Meet!!:confused3 We all remeber how I missed Flat Rosies arival in Kent!!!:rotfl:

I'm glad someone explained because I didn't want to ask...

I am home and officially off until Monday:cool1::cool1: Lot's to do over the weekend though. TOmorrow I am cooking the ham and making the potato sald and macaroni sald for the inlaw invasion on Saturday. Then I have to run to Wally World to pick up a couple of things for Jimmy's basket. Saturday we have T-Ball 10am - Noon, then the inlaws are due at 1:30 (whihc means they will actually show up at 3:00:rolleyes:). We'll dye egss Saturday night, leave out carrots and milk for the Easter Bunny (Jimmy also wants to leave cookies for him and if the EB doesn't eat them he will;)). Sunday we are going to my brothers house in Jersey. So much a relaxing weekend:sad2:

Another Tball Mom!!
;)
It may not have been the bed... :rolleyes1:rotfl:
:scared1: :rolleyes1

Oh, thanks! I hope you're enjoying it! :goodvibes
I am. Hopefully I will finish today if they don't expect too much out of me at work ;)

Pixie dust and good thoughts for her, please. :wizard: She's not a terribly close friend, so I can't claim more connection than I'm due, but she is a very nice person with a DD7 and a DD5. :guilty:
Of course we will :hug:

Whats a tink bag?
Tink bags are the little goodie bags that tinkerbell leaves the kids when we are at Disney. Typically she leaves them glow sticks, candy, and cheap, err, replacable toys. :)

When i left for college my cat ad to be put down for feline leukemia. It was terribly sad and i never got to see him since i left for school. i would have done anything to see him one last time. My parents called my form the vet to let me talk to him, but i didnt answer because i didnt recognize the number.:confused3
Aw :hug:

Today was one long day! i just got home and ate. I had 2 labs and work today. The cleanest i felt all day was when i was sifting through soil for bugs in my bio lab!:scared:

In my wildlife lab i was studying marsupials, flying lemurs, and moles. now i really want a hedgehog as a pet. Im trying to convince marc, but he doesnt seem convinced. Especially since their illegal in CA. Maybe ill go for a guinea pig though. My cats need a new playmate.:rolleyes1
Did you watch the Colbert Report last night? He had a funny bit on hedgehogs! :rotfl2:

I believe to save some money before their first family Disney trip, Jo, her DH, and 2 DD's went on holiday (see, I can be British!) to Scotland, in what we'd call an RV. She calls it a caravan. ;)

Someone - TE? - found a fantastic picture on the web of a rather scary "caravan" and it keeps popping up as "Jo's" when we need to tease her.
Thanks for explaining so that I didn't have to ask! :lmao:

Tomorow I'll pretty much get up, and need to mop, sweep and vacuum the house so we can get out for the showing. We have to take the doggy with us, so I think we'll go the park for a picnic. I may let the kids swim in the wading area at the park too.
So, if I don't check in until after lunch, that's why. Happy Friday, everyone! :goodvibes
Happy Friday. And good luck at the showing. :thumbsup2

Deb, I think FB is evil too :rotfl:.
I am on here a LOT more than I am FB. I only check it once a week or so.

I have used zazzle.com for t-shirts and had good experiences with them. They did these (I did the designs):

Well as you can see it is 2:31am and we are still UP!! Bill doesn't know the difference between day and night with all this homework he has been doing. Since he has limited mobility due to the Cerebral Palsy, I have to transfer him when it is time to go to bed. I know I could just lay down until he wants to go to sleep, but I don't really get back to sleep if I do that, so I just stay up and look like a zombie the next day.

Bill's parents will be here Sunday for Easter. They had me book a restaurant instead of cooking :lmao:. She has never let me cook for them, she likes to be in control of situations. They will come visit, then drive to St. Louis, because they are getting on a plane the next day for Cancun. We weren't invited, how rude :mad:, just kidding. Bill and I have no desire to go there.

One time his mom and I were in the van together we had just been to the scrapbooking store by Pigeon Forge, TN where I went Disney crazy and she looked at me and said "do you think you and Bill will ever want to go on vacation anywhere besides Disney?" I think I looked at her like she had grown 3 heads :rotfl2:. I said "do you think you will stop wanting to come to the mountains?" I think I stopped those questions.

Sorry for rambling I am tired.
Love the shirts, Used to have a MIL like that but NOT ANYMORE :dance3: Sorry, I know it doesn't help you but I just realized it has been a full year since I have seen my ex In laws!!!

But you do need to get some sleep and take care of yourself. If you don't who will be able to care for BIll then?

We decided to take him to the vet regardless, in the morning, and see what happens. I am prepared for the worst but hoping endlessly for the best.
Kat, :hug:

What GC, is it your birthday??

:banana::banana::banana:Happy Birthday, Angela!!!!:banana::banana::banana:

:bday:party::bday:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANGELA!!!!!!
Oh, I guess it is. Happy Birthday Angela!!

Not sure where Friday came from, but it's here. And I'm not at all prepared for Easter. :eek: I just asked the boys when they want to do eggs, and #3 said "we usually do them on Easter Eve"...so I'm off the hook for today :rolleyes1
Hope everyone has a great day!
We did eggs last night

Hmm, sounds like my step-MIL. Except that she always has stuff she wants to do, but won't say it, so that we have to guess. If we guess wrong... :eek::rotfl:
:rotfl2:
Hi All!!! :wave:

:cake:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:cake:
Hi Z

Didn't forget anyone, did I? Well, if I did, I'm sorry. My mom and I are planning on IKEA today. I was going to strong arm the boys into going too but I don't know now if I will. SD had a friend spend the night so he's still here. I know Gus wants to go, so that's good. He's more fun to shop with anyway!!! LOL

My mom is leaving tomorrow morning. I love her but man I am so ready to get my house back. I never really got it completely picked up and clean after my Disney trip. Then I ended up in the hospital and not able to do anything. Then she came and I figured, "Why do it NOW?"
I am going to scrub this place top to bottom on Sunday!!!!! (Yes, I know it's Easter.....)

So, what is everyone else doing?

MEL:banana:
Have fun at Ikea! I am just working today :headache:

Oh, thank goodness! I found them! Pshew! :rotfl:
:thumbsup2

Sounds like you do need a do-over! We only do a basket for Easter too. I think we spent less than $20 on each child this year.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Delta and Omicron both passed their Karate testing last night! Then we picked up another child from the tball team, ate dinner at sonic and went to tball practice. Went home and colored easter eggs. Omicron had to take one to school and pretend it was a baby. I wrapped it in an old baby sock. Sorry I have no pics because my camera broke a month ago and I haven't replaced it yet!
Morning Ladies (and Mr. T)!
In case you haven't been on Facebook in the past 24 hours, I had a really great night last night! :cool1::cool1:My alma mater's hockey team is now in the National Championship game tomorrow night! Last night's semi-final game was awesome!! :banana::banana:Thus, I am sporting a new avatar just for the occasion! :woohoo::woohoo::yay::yay:
Kat - More hugs to you and KC. I hope the vet is able to answer all your questions and that you have peace with whatever decision you have to make. I can only imagine how hard it is.
Mel - Take it easy honey! Make those boys help you on Sunday in your cleaning adventure!
Dawn - Good luck with the showing today!
Happy Birthday Angela!!!!
CE - I will keep Michelle in my prayers.
V - Hope your day gets better. I'm thinking wine....
:wave: Hi to everyone else I forgot! Have a wonderful day!
It's the last day of spring break here. I've got some cleaning up to do and then the girls and I are going shopping for awhile. We might meet DH for lunch as well. I'm ready to send them back to school next week!
;)
Hi, TE! Welcome back. I'm sorry about your dad. :hug:
***********************************************
D just called. This is rather complicated, but as many of you know, we do all our holiday dinners with our college friends, John & Deb (common names, I am not going to confuse the issue with 2 "D" initials running around.)
Anyway, for many of the last few years' worth of holidays, we've done all the meals at their house, because they have a couple whom they're friends with who are also far from family, but the wife is kind of shy. So even though we're friendly and have gotten to know each other, they just felt more comfortable at Deb's.
Well, and then for a while there was the fact that they lived around the corner, and she - Michelle - needed to be close to home as she had pretty full-blown breast cancer. :sad2:
She's gone through the double mastectomy, done a hysterectomy, the whole treatment and has been in remission for a bit now. But when D just called their house to see if they wanted to come to our place on Sunday, her DH said she was rushed to the hospital. She woke up last night, went to the bathroom, threw up and then passed out and quit breathing. :eek: She started back up before the paramedics came, but she's in the ICU. They have to run a lot of tests, but are theorizing it might be a form of pneumonia. But, the scary thing is that it possibly could be sepsis. My mom, as you may remember, was hospitalized with sepsis while my grandpa was in the hospital this fall, but she apparently didn't have too bad of a case, and she's healthy.
This worries me for Michelle, though, given that her body's probably not at its best for fighting, even in remission.
Pixie dust and good thoughts for her, please. :wizard: She's not a terribly close friend, so I can't claim more connection than I'm due, but she is a very nice person with a DD7 and a DD5. :guilty:
I'm hoping for the best, but it's scary. Poor thing.
Anyway...
Beyond that, and on a less serious note, I'm just hanging out. I'm kind of bored. The dog should be all right overnight if I take him out in a few minutes, and I may just go to bed. :confused3
Dad came home yesterday---he had pneumonia again but responded well to IV Levaquin. He will be on oxygen for a while---the Rheumatoid arthritis has hit his lungs.:sad2:
Let us know how your friend is doing---that sounds bad. She's been thru a lot for someone so young.
TE is back from Hershey. They were on a dead run the whole time. OOOOO, Hershey and run in the same sentence, not good. :lmao:
[quote="mrsksomeday, post: 31267679"]Kristel thank you so much for the update, I never would have been able to keep up today.
Kat, I am so sorry about your kitty, that is so sad :grouphug:. Come here and talk all you need to.
Angie, glad Mitch is back!!
Jo, how big is your oven that a 14 inch pizza is big? Can we see a pic? I am really interested in this for some reason?
Janet I am happy you survived the sleepover, I hope we can both survive the weekend, Bill's parents are coming Sunday :scared1:.
Jodi, I hope you have a good time with your planning, congrats again about Miami winning!!
V, well I am going to have to go back and read about you not blowing eggs???
Sharky, I want it to be Spring too. It has been storming here all night and our dog freaks out over thunder and lightning. He has been a shaking mess.
Dawn, I hope your home sells soon. I know that has to be frustrating. I know I haven't been around the focker's that long, but I will be in Disney that weekend. I am hoping Carrie and Jodi can make it too (keeping my fingers crossed).
I for one think Kristel needs to MOVE her trip one week ahead to meet all of us on that weekend, but that is just me :rolleyes1.
Deb, I think FB is evil too :rotfl:.
Rosie, I am sorry about Steph, at least she cares about them, my son didn't care at all when he was in school :sad2:.
T, I am sorry about the issues with Waldo. I hope things get better soon.
Lori, I hope you find a way to take some time for yourself, you are a busy, busy woman.
Hi Lessa.
Hi TE, I hope you get some rest after all that running around.
Mel, I hope you don't push yourself too hard. Please take it easy.
CE your friend Michelle is in my thoughts and prayers. Breast Cancer is a horrible disease.
Cel Bel, hedgehogs are too cute.
Kristel, I hope you get caught up on your sleep, I know your schedule has been crazy lately. Do you use the Southwest "ding" we always do. We have gotten some good deals that way :thumbsup2.
I have used zazzle.com for t-shirts and had good experiences with them. They did these (I did the designs):
Ooo......do you get to Pigeon Forge often?? I live about 3 hours or so from there.
Well it's almost 5am and I'm up. We are sleeping in shifts so one of us is up with the cat, just in case.
Around 8:30pm he decided he wanted a drink and started drinking water. Then about a half hour later he was meowing for dinner, which we gave him and he slowly ate over a while. These are good signs. His body temp seems to be up more too, he was freezing before. And he's much more responsive.
We decided to take him to the vet regardless, in the morning, and see what happens. I am prepared for the worst but hoping endlessly for the best.
Best I can tell he is def getting too old. He may have liver failure or something worse, that comes and goes. I just don't want him to suffer even a second. SO we will see what the vet says. It's a new vet too, which makes me a bit nervous but I'm more worried about Bale. He hates to travel anywhere, he hates outside and he hates people outside too. I'm hoping the stress isn't bad for him.
Me, on the other hand, can't keep food in my tummy. I'm so worked up over this. I figure after tomorrow morning i can eat and sleep and deal, now I'm stressing.
I'll let you all know what's up as soon as I know.
Thank you all so much for the support, it means the world to me to have you guys. And Mel. I'm sorry I didn't pick up today, I was pretty bad off at the time, but your call really meant a lot to me. KC even smiled when he heard how great you all were being- thank you.
Nighty night.
:hug:Keep us updated on your day.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++
Well, we actually made breakfast together and all 4 of us ate at the same table.........sad to say how long that has been, but it was nice.
Bear, the giant lab puppy, has apparently decided to continue his diet of sticks and socks and now has an upset tummy. :mad:
And it's raining, but that's ok..........
Happy Good Friday to all! :goodvibes
No problem! We love new "members" but there's quite a bit of backstory that can be confusing. ;)
Delta and Omicron both passed their Karate testing last night!
Hooray!
Morning Ladies (and Mr. T)!
In case you haven't been on Facebook in the past 24 hours, I had a really great night last night!
Congrats!
CE - I will keep Michelle in my prayers.
Thanks. :hug: I know you've had friends go through all this, too.
Dad came home yesterday---he had pneumonia again but responded well to IV Levaquin. He will be on oxygen for a while---the Rheumatoid arthritis has hit his lungs.:sad2:
I'm glad he's home. :hug: to you and the whole family.
Let us know how your friend is doing---that sounds bad. She's been thru a lot for someone so young.
I've not heard anything more, but when I do, I'll let you know.
Morning Fockers!
I read through but didn't retain anything. :( I didn't get to bed late and Linds was up at 7:30 and DR up at 8 and they have both been holy terrors since then.
They have been outside since 11 but have managed to track sidewalk chalk dust all through the kithen, family room, foyer and then into the toy room. I think I'm with V and want a do over.
Not much planned for us today. Its sunny but chilly out and I'm hoping it will warm up some by this afternoon. We'll get ready down to the store to pick up some lunch. The kids like to go since they get free cookies. LOL Maybe we'll walk down to the park later on as well to burn off some energy and take a dog with us.
*********************************************************
:cake: HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELA! :cake:
Dawn - Good Luck with the showing!
Kat - :hug::hug::hug:
:wave2: Hi to you all and hope you have a good Good Friday!
Thanks for all the birthday wishes! I wish you were all here to celebrate with me. :grouphug: Epcot was nice at 9.00 when I got there. :goodvibes I just walked around taking some pictures, after I bought a disposable camera because my battery was dead. :headache: Then I went shopping with my CG. I'll post pictures after my battery charges. It's so nice to have people tell you H.B. and nice to say to people that have the same b'day as I do. :thumbsup2
Mel, hang in there. ;)
Jodi, congrats. :cheer2: My dad went there too so I'll have to tell him they won.
TE, :hug: to you and dad.
Tomorrow we're going to a spring carnival at Rollins College, where my sis works, so we're not doing eggs.
CE~just finished your TR "And the Rain, Rain, Rain Came Down, Down Down - or Oy, Fay! Updated 10/1. The End.". The picture at the end made me all teary eyed. On our way home last year I was thinking to myself of all the meltdowns, all the fits, whining and tantrums that we encountered during our week and thought that we should probably wait a couple of years before going again. But then my own children started commenting and making drawings, retelling stories, etc of our trip and it reminded me of how magical that world is especially to little ones. Your son's drawing reminded me of that once again and I appreciate you sharing it.
Well, at the Disney mom secret meeting last week, I told her she should ask you so you wouldn't be upset.........wait........you didn't KNOW there was a meeting???? nevermind
:rotfl2:
Dude. Your oven must be itty bitty. :confused3
Nope a standard size, the pizza fitted in easily width ways but because it's gas and has about an inch gap at the back (you can't push baking trays all the way to the back of the oven) it didn't quite fit! And don't push yourself Mel, take care!
It may not have been the bed... :rolleyes1:rotfl:
Oh CE :eek::rotfl2: Ans so sorry about your friend hope she makes a full recovery :hug:
no I dont share any of my dishes or food. Except with marc. I've had too many people not take care of my stuff. I just found an empty cupboard to throw theirs. Im sure it will be at least a month before they say anything. if they do. :rolleyes: they only cook once in a FEW blue moons.
I meant where you live :rotfl2:
