Katt---so sorry about your kitty. You know how much I love my pets and I understand how hard it is. :hug:

I've been SO tired since coming back from Hershey---had to work ......and my dad's been in the hospital .......and BA's spacers on her teeth are hurting and ......the washing machine must have been broken whilst we were gone cause I have 100 loads of laundry to do. :mad:

But I DID get text from Janet whilst in PA! :yay: Wish we could have met up......but I was right......it was a zoo..........the only free time I had was Friday afternoon and we ran thru the chocolate factory (yum).
BTW--the 3D movie is Disney quality---loved it!
The other days were nuts but she enjoyed it.
Glad for a long weekend to recover !

Talking of FB friends I had Deb Wils from allears ask to be my friend last week, see I am a celebrity :snooty: ;) :rotfl2:
Well, at the Disney mom secret meeting last week, I told her she should ask you so you wouldn't be upset.........wait........you didn't KNOW there was a meeting???? nevermind :lmao:

We have a showing tomorrow!!! :yay::yay::yay:
:yay:

How are you Dawn?? Dancing away?

Again a boring day to be had here. Crappy weather is keeping us home and a grump Waldo is driving us mad. I feel bad for him, but yeesh! he's a PITA. Bad
Not a bad daughter. Merely human.... :hug:

T (and everyone else too), everyone keeps saying 'trampolining' ??? What does that mean? Is it a three lettered word that starts with s and ends in eX??
I see you have an answer. ;)

Hi Lori!!!

I'm nosey. I want to know who's doing what. ;) :lmao:
I'm going. Nosey! :rotfl2:

Hey everyone. Send good thoughts to Kat. KC just posted on facebook that they are going to have to put their cat (Bale) down :sad2:
Done!

Yum, Ikea! Meatballs? :lmao: (is it wrong that I think of food, rather than furniture?)
Nope. My first thought too....so sad! :sad2:

We bought a 14 inch pizza today and it wouldn't fit in the oven :rotfl2: I had to kinda balance it in there, still tasted good though!!!
Dude. Your oven must be itty bitty. :confused3

I have brown ones... :rolleyes1 and no dye. :headache:
So that cinches it. Brown eggs ARE local eggs....:goodvibes

Yup. CE violated AK's beds and then wrote about it in her TR. :lmao:
Ewwwww. HA! :worship:

Oops. I killed your quote. Hi TE!!! :wave2:

**********************
Went to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. Then to see Monsters Vs. Aliens in IMAX 3D. Cute movie! No weird innuendo, or adult-funny stuff. Just a cute kids movie. Bob loved it.

My mom and I took my friend Peggy to lunch today and then to the antique stores. It was a very fun day but WAY more than I probably should have done and then with the dinner and movie, I'm done in. Sooooo tired.

I'm going to have a hot shower, clean jammies and some wine. Then I'm going to let Bob rub my feet and watch tv. LY all. Have a great night.

Oh, and Dawn and her great kids sent me gummy worms, C made a gorgeous picture for my fridge of Tinkerbell and they bought me a pretty Tink pin for my lanyard (which is all Tink!). They love me! That was such a nice get well. Thanks L's!

MEL:banana:

See I just don't own up :rolleyes1:rotfl2:

;)

They do Debra but I know they all love me really :rotfl2:

::yes:: Indubitably. :hug:

Yup. CE violated AK's beds and then wrote about it in her TR. :lmao:

It may not have been the bed... :rolleyes1:rotfl:

I never heard about that one!

Wait.. or did I?! :rotfl:

I can't remember - did you read my first TR from the May 2007 trip? :rolleyes1

CE, I am still reading your TR "Rain Rain Rain". I am on page 27!

Oh, thanks! I hope you're enjoying it! :goodvibes

So much a relaxing weekend:sad2:

Oh, yeah. Relaxing. :faint:

I've been SO tired since coming back from Hershey---had to work ......and my dad's been in the hospital .......and BA's spacers on her teeth are hurting and ......the washing machine must have been broken whilst we were gone cause I have 100 loads of laundry to do. :mad:

Hi, TE! Welcome back. I'm sorry about your dad. :hug:

***********************************************
D just called. This is rather complicated, but as many of you know, we do all our holiday dinners with our college friends, John & Deb (common names, I am not going to confuse the issue with 2 "D" initials running around.)

Anyway, for many of the last few years' worth of holidays, we've done all the meals at their house, because they have a couple whom they're friends with who are also far from family, but the wife is kind of shy. So even though we're friendly and have gotten to know each other, they just felt more comfortable at Deb's.

Well, and then for a while there was the fact that they lived around the corner, and she - Michelle - needed to be close to home as she had pretty full-blown breast cancer. :sad2:

She's gone through the double mastectomy, done a hysterectomy, the whole treatment and has been in remission for a bit now. But when D just called their house to see if they wanted to come to our place on Sunday, her DH said she was rushed to the hospital. She woke up last night, went to the bathroom, threw up and then passed out and quit breathing. :eek: She started back up before the paramedics came, but she's in the ICU. They have to run a lot of tests, but are theorizing it might be a form of pneumonia. But, the scary thing is that it possibly could be sepsis. My mom, as you may remember, was hospitalized with sepsis while my grandpa was in the hospital this fall, but she apparently didn't have too bad of a case, and she's healthy.

This worries me for Michelle, though, given that her body's probably not at its best for fighting, even in remission.

Pixie dust and good thoughts for her, please. :wizard: She's not a terribly close friend, so I can't claim more connection than I'm due, but she is a very nice person with a DD7 and a DD5. :guilty:

I'm hoping for the best, but it's scary. Poor thing.

Anyway...

Beyond that, and on a less serious note, I'm just hanging out. I'm kind of bored. The dog should be all right overnight if I take him out in a few minutes, and I may just go to bed. :confused3

Do you share?

no I dont share any of my dishes or food. Except with marc. I've had too many people not take care of my stuff. I just found an empty cupboard to throw theirs. Im sure it will be at least a month before they say anything. if they do. :rolleyes: they only cook once in a FEW blue moons.

Taking my mom to Ikea today (or tomorrow). Depends on what day Peggy wants to go out for lunch for her bday. Whatever day she DOESN'T pick, we'll do Ikea.

Have fun at ikea, or hope you had a good time if you went today. Do we get to see another TR on IKEA?

Leo and I colored eggs last night. I think I need to start blowing the liquid out in future years. He was NOT happy about putting the eggs into the fridge, and even less happy about the prospect of ruining all his creative decorating by eating them at a later date! :rolleyes:

He could atleast be excited that hell have funny colored eggs when he eats them! Green eggs and ham anyone?

Jimmy's camp is $200/week. An extra $50 for before and after care (becasue camp is 9 - 4:rolleyes:). An extra $50 for swimming. And then for his specail things. $100 for pottery and $100 for Lego robotics. All the other things he picked are free...thank goodness. We are looking at $800 for 2 weeks :faint:

You guys are putting me off of kids thinking about these things!:faint:
It's running $3.95 here. :sad2:
The good bread, with seeds and stuff, is about $4, but wonderbread etc. is like $2. Id love $1 bread!

I do shop year round for Disney. Mainly clearanced items that I find that are Disney related. I also stock up on things to put in goodies bags for birthday parties, easter baskets, stockings, and tink bags.

Whats a tink bag?

I know you may think this is just crazy but my DH makes this banana sandwich YUM!! He toasts braed, spreads both slices with Nutella, then slices bananas and puts them between the nutella making a sandwich. Then he spreads butter over the top of the sandwich and sprinkles it with powdered sugar and cinamon. :cloud9:
That sound amazing! Im going to make some of that soon!

Well I just had the worst morning EVER.

:hug::hug::hug::hug: Im so sorry! I know what its like to go through losing a pet. I hope you are able to enjoy your night with him. :hug:

When i left for college my cat ad to be put down for feline leukemia. It was terribly sad and i never got to see him since i left for school. i would have done anything to see him one last time. My parents called my form the vet to let me talk to him, but i didnt answer because i didnt recognize the number.:confused3

So Hugs needed for Steph, I know she feels worthless due to her grades and we don't have an answer !!
:hug: I hope she starts to feel better and things work out.

Deb There is also another thing we pick on Jo about :lmao:and that is a caravan !! :rotfl2:This has led to many a joke and giggle !!:laughing: So if you get awarded a fortnight in Jo's caravan be prepared !!:scared1: I am sure someone will post pix !! We need our new Fockers to be in on our jokes !!
Did I miss the reply on filling me in about the IP/Dip Meet!!:confused3 We all remeber how I missed Flat Rosies arival in Kent!!!:rotfl:

?????:confused3

ok i think we need an explanation!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today was one long day! i just got home and ate. I had 2 labs and work today. The cleanest i felt all day was when i was sifting through soil for bugs in my bio lab!:scared:
In my wildlife lab i was studying marsupials, flying lemurs, and moles. now i really want a hedgehog as a pet. Im trying to convince marc, but he doesnt seem convinced. Especially since their illegal in CA. Maybe ill go for a guinea pig though. My cats need a new playmate.:rolleyes1
So that cinches it. Brown eggs ARE local eggs....:goodvibes
Possibly! But they are much harder to dye. :lmao:
Went to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. Then to see Monsters Vs. Aliens in IMAX 3D. Cute movie! No weird innuendo, or adult-funny stuff. Just a cute kids movie. Bob loved it.
Oh, good. The kids are seeing it for a birthday party in a couple of weeks. :thumbsup2
I'm going to have a hot shower, clean jammies and some wine. Then I'm going to let Bob rub my feet and watch tv. LY all. Have a great night.
Take it easy, girlie. :hug: We'll go "momma" on you if you don't. :goodvibes
?????:confused3
ok i think we need an explanation!
I believe to save some money before their first family Disney trip, Jo, her DH, and 2 DD's went on holiday (see, I can be British!) to Scotland, in what we'd call an RV. She calls it a caravan. ;)
Someone - TE? - found a fantastic picture on the web of a rather scary "caravan" and it keeps popping up as "Jo's" when we need to tease her.
Today was one long day! i just got home and ate. I had 2 labs and work today. The cleanest i felt all day was when i was sifting through soil for bugs in my bio lab!:scared:
Sounds.... interesting? :rotfl: Kind of fun, though! Better than calculus. :rolleyes1 ;)
Mel- You're welcome. We love you, y'all. ;) Take it easy tomorrow, okay? :hug:
CE- Wow. Prayers for your friend. :guilty:
Tomorow I'll pretty much get up, and need to mop, sweep and vacuum the house so we can get out for the showing. We have to take the doggy with us, so I think we'll go the park for a picnic. I may let the kids swim in the wading area at the park too.
So, if I don't check in until after lunch, that's why. Happy Friday, everyone! :goodvibes
Hi All!
KAT's kitty has to be reunited with our maker today. I am so very sorry. He had a long life with a good home while on this Earth.
petheaven.jpg
ANGIE says Mitch is back and ate good while he was gone.
JO is teaching her girls to hate shopping. Her oven is too small for a real pizza. Has a stalker from MP at FB. Oh and in case anyone has any doubt, it is always Jo's fault.
JANET survived the sleepover and is now going to try and survive the weekend.
JODI is planning Summer stuff.
V doesn't blow eggs. :rotfl2:
Sorry V, I can't help myself.
SHARKY thinks that Spring can stay around now. They were going to the park.
DAWN woke up to a screaming alarm clock. The house is showing today. They will go have a picnic with the furbaby whilst that is happening. She wants to know who is in for the girl's weekend Oct. 9th - 11th. If I hit the lottery, I'll be able to stay an extra week. It really 'blows' that I will be leaving exactly 7 days prior to this.:headache:
DEB's hubby must be realated to Elvis. He likes Nutella/banana sandwiches. The trip with your MIL sounds awesome. I keep telling you guys that FB is evil.
ROSIE says the kids are doing great in school except for Steph, who struggles a bit. She feels bad about her grades. :hug: for Steph.
T says she knows exactly where Waldo is. He is not a happy camper and the weather is forcing them to stay inside. :scared:
LORI is busy as usual. MMMM, spaghetti!!!!
Lessa - HI!
TE is back from Hershey. They were on a dead run the whole time. OOOOO, Hershey and run in the same sentence, not good. :lmao:
MEL did too much today. She had fun but was very tired. ;)
CE's friend Michelle needs prayers and good thoughts for healing and health.
teddy_praying.jpg
CEL BEL got dirty today. She wants a hedgehog.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I'm skipping the family festivities on Sunday. I won't be off until 6 am that morning. After the 2 weeks I just had I'm gonna get some good sleep. Doug can finish baking the cauliflower casserole that morning.
I'm still waiting on Southwest to post their flights for Sept. It says April 14th but to check back as that might change. I'm hoping that they will be cheaper than Air Tran. You have to remember to tack on the bag fee for Air Tran. I haven't seen any price drops on any of the other airlines since I started looking about 3 months ago. I'd rather drive than have to watch this stuff.
I'm thinking of getting some t-shirts printed up for Rockie and I. I've been looking at websites on the internet. Anybody had any experience with any of the sites for this?
Have a good day, everyone!
Kristel thank you so much for the update, I never would have been able to keep up today.
Kat, I am so sorry about your kitty, that is so sad :grouphug:. Come here and talk all you need to.
Angie, glad Mitch is back!!
Jo, how big is your oven that a 14 inch pizza is big? Can we see a pic? I am really interested in this for some reason?
Janet I am happy you survived the sleepover, I hope we can both survive the weekend, Bill's parents are coming Sunday :scared1:.
Jodi, I hope you have a good time with your planning, congrats again about Miami winning!!
V, well I am going to have to go back and read about you not blowing eggs???
Sharky, I want it to be Spring too. It has been storming here all night and our dog freaks out over thunder and lightning. He has been a shaking mess.
Dawn, I hope your home sells soon. I know that has to be frustrating. I know I haven't been around the focker's that long, but I will be in Disney that weekend. I am hoping Carrie and Jodi can make it too (keeping my fingers crossed).
I for one think Kristel needs to MOVE her trip one week ahead to meet all of us on that weekend, but that is just me :rolleyes1.
Deb, I think FB is evil too :rotfl:.
Rosie, I am sorry about Steph, at least she cares about them, my son didn't care at all when he was in school :sad2:.
T, I am sorry about the issues with Waldo. I hope things get better soon.
Lori, I hope you find a way to take some time for yourself, you are a busy, busy woman.
Hi Lessa.
Hi TE, I hope you get some rest after all that running around.
Mel, I hope you don't push yourself too hard. Please take it easy.
CE your friend Michelle is in my thoughts and prayers. Breast Cancer is a horrible disease.
Cel Bel, hedgehogs are too cute.
Kristel, I hope you get caught up on your sleep, I know your schedule has been crazy lately. Do you use the Southwest "ding" we always do. We have gotten some good deals that way :thumbsup2.
I have used zazzle.com for t-shirts and had good experiences with them. They did these (I did the designs):
.....................................................................................................................
Well as you can see it is 2:31am and we are still UP!! Bill doesn't know the difference between day and night with all this homework he has been doing. Since he has limited mobility due to the Cerebral Palsy, I have to transfer him when it is time to go to bed. I know I could just lay down until he wants to go to sleep, but I don't really get back to sleep if I do that, so I just stay up and look like a zombie the next day.
Bill's parents will be here Sunday for Easter. They had me book a restaurant instead of cooking :lmao:. She has never let me cook for them, she likes to be in control of situations. They will come visit, then drive to St. Louis, because they are getting on a plane the next day for Cancun. We weren't invited, how rude :mad:, just kidding. Bill and I have no desire to go there.
One time his mom and I were in the van together we had just been to the scrapbooking store by Pigeon Forge, TN where I went Disney crazy and she looked at me and said "do you think you and Bill will ever want to go on vacation anywhere besides Disney?" I think I looked at her like she had grown 3 heads :rotfl2:. I said "do you think you will stop wanting to come to the mountains?" I think I stopped those questions.
Sorry for rambling I am tired.
Well it's almost 5am and I'm up. We are sleeping in shifts so one of us is up with the cat, just in case.
Around 8:30pm he decided he wanted a drink and started drinking water. Then about a half hour later he was meowing for dinner, which we gave him and he slowly ate over a while. These are good signs. His body temp seems to be up more too, he was freezing before. And he's much more responsive.
We decided to take him to the vet regardless, in the morning, and see what happens. I am prepared for the worst but hoping endlessly for the best.
Best I can tell he is def getting too old. He may have liver failure or something worse, that comes and goes. I just don't want him to suffer even a second. SO we will see what the vet says. It's a new vet too, which makes me a bit nervous but I'm more worried about Bale. He hates to travel anywhere, he hates outside and he hates people outside too. I'm hoping the stress isn't bad for him.
Me, on the other hand, can't keep food in my tummy. I'm so worked up over this. I figure after tomorrow morning i can eat and sleep and deal, now I'm stressing.
I'll let you all know what's up as soon as I know.
Thank you all so much for the support, it means the world to me to have you guys. And Mel. I'm sorry I didn't pick up today, I was pretty bad off at the time, but your call really meant a lot to me. KC even smiled when he heard how great you all were being- thank you.
Nighty night.
Kat I am thinking about you and Bale ! It is so hard to see a part of your family suffering !!:hug::hug::hug:( 1for each of you!!)
:bday:party::bday:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANGELA!!!!!!
And for the record, I'd be braving the crowds to get the GC, too.
************************
Morning :goodvibes
Kat, you have been on my mind all night. I hope you are doing okay :hug: and that you get some answers about Bale today at the vet.
Not sure where Friday came from, but it's here. And I'm not at all prepared for Easter. :eek: I just asked the boys when they want to do eggs, and #3 said "we usually do them on Easter Eve"...so I'm off the hook for today :rolleyes1
Not much planned for today. I have a small garden that I need to tear up from last year's failed vegetables and this year I'm going cut flower in there instead. Something is bound to grow there besides weeds.
Hope everyone has a great day!
CE- Wow. Prayers for your friend. :guilty:
Thanks, Dawn.
Hope the showing is great and you have a fun morning! :)
I haven't seen any price drops on any of the other airlines since I started looking about 3 months ago. I'd rather drive than have to watch this stuff.
::yes:: D has decided that we need to fly his dad and step-mum out here in July for his dad's 70th b-day. First, flying from Knoxville to NH requires some weird routes, and secondly, it's always very expensive. They always drive because of this, but they're time limited for his birthday - it's also her parents' 70th wedding anniversary the next week, then D's brother gets married in Chicago less than a month later.
D saw something fairly cheap a couple of weeks ago, but hadn't cleared the whole thing with his dad, so didn't buy them. Now, of course, they've gone up. :headache:
CE your friend Michelle is in my thoughts and prayers. Breast Cancer is a horrible disease.
Thanks, Tracy. :hug:
I have used zazzle.com for t-shirts and had good experiences with them. They did these (I did the designs):
So cool!
She has never let me cook for them, she likes to be in control of situations.
Hmm, sounds like my step-MIL. Except that she always has stuff she wants to do, but won't say it, so that we have to guess. If we guess wrong... :eek::rotfl:
I'm so worked up over this. I figure after tomorrow morning i can eat and sleep and deal, now I'm stressing.
I'll let you all know what's up as soon as I know.
Love ya, hon. :hug: We're here.
CE, :hug: to your friend.
Thanks, Angela. :hug:
Good grief! Have fun! Spend well! :) Are you doing anything special for your birthday? :goodvibes
My kids haven't said anything. I'm hopeful that we can just "forget" this year. :rotfl:
Hope everyone has a great day!
You, too! :hug:
Hi All!!! :wave: Remember me?
Well just a quick drive by to say hello and that I'm still alive. :D
Also, Kat :hug: for little Bale. I hope he's ok and everything turns out for the best. :hug:
:cake:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:cake:
I would brave the parks to get the Gcard too. Technically, you don't have to go into the park to get the Gcard. Yani ended up using hers at the CSR giftshop, but you can also use it at World of Disney in DTD. ;) Regardless, enjoy your day!!!
Ok, I'll probably be MIA for the weekend but I'll try to get back in the swing of things over here.....there's no way I'm catching up on almost 2 :faint:
I didn't quote anyone. Sorry!
Kat, you don't have to apologize for not picking up. I just wanted you to know I was thinking of you guys. I'm keeping fingers crossed for the best outcome for Bale, whatever that happens to be. :lovestruc
Kate: I agree, Friday snuck up! Hope you enjoy your day!
Kristel: You should rest if you're tired. You could always join Doug later....? AND I think you should move your trip too.....:rolleyes1
CE: Hugs for Michelle :hug: and I'm hoping my boys forget about eggs too. Just don't have it in me today. Ugh.
Tracy: :hug: just cuz. You are very good to Bill.
Dawn: YAY! A showing! And I love y'all too! :love:
Angela: I'd go too! A free GC is a free GC!!! Have a wonderful wonderful day! You deserve it!
Zeee: Hey Girl! I got an Email from Yani! She's SO excited to be coming home! I was wondering where you'd gone off to. Don't stay away so long next time! We missed you!
***************
Didn't forget anyone, did I? Well, if I did, I'm sorry. My mom and I are planning on IKEA today. I was going to strong arm the boys into going too but I don't know now if I will. SD had a friend spend the night so he's still here. I know Gus wants to go, so that's good. He's more fun to shop with anyway!!! LOL
My mom is leaving tomorrow morning. I love her but man I am so ready to get my house back. I never really got it completely picked up and clean after my Disney trip. Then I ended up in the hospital and not able to do anything. Then she came and I figured, "Why do it NOW?"
I am going to scrub this place top to bottom on Sunday!!!!! (Yes, I know it's Easter.....)
So, what is everyone else doing?
