Glad you're back!Keep gas mileage in mind. Even if you live close to stuff, you don't want to spend $60-$80 filling a large tank every week. I'm sure we'll see and increase in the price again. Shiesters! Tell DR Happy Birthday! Good luck with the cleaning and enjoy your quiet weekend!

So very true and one thing I never gave a thought to. While I enjoyed the Jeep it was a pain to have to fill up, and that was even during the cheap times! LOL Anything will be better than my van though. It was a huge conversion van. That thing would take $100+ to fill when gas was expensive!

Well we are nearly ready to leave but I wish I could cancel. I AM SICK I have a Middle ear Infection... and My Blood Pressure Is up. A LOT.... . I have NEVER had elevated Blood pressure out side of Pregnancy. I probably should NOT go on this trip... but the kids are looking forward to it. So I'll take it REALLY REALLY EASY.

Doug also told me that he swung by his mom's house and she had made coconut cream pie. This is my all-time fav with the exception of peanut butter pie. He did not bring me a piece. I'm pissed! He said he didn't want to ruin my weight loss plan. I said 'Just how often do I get pie around here? 1 piece wouldn't ruin anything. You just didn't think about me!' Dang it, now I'm mad all over again! Hmph!

This truly had me LOL'ing.

My surgery that was scheduled for yesterday was canceled because the DR was in the hospital. Thank goodness he is ok and is now home. I am rescheduled for April 3rd. If it doesn't happen then I will have to wait until June and my foot will not be in Disney shape for my California trip.

Work is crazy, taking on more clients, but I am getting more staff that I can delicate some of the work to, but I still have a heck of a lot more responsibilty than a few months ago. THe whole transition will be finalized over the next month. But it's a paycheck and benefits and in this economy I shouldn't complain.

I need a Kristel update as I have no idea what's going on around here. Off to Murph's to helo her with some computer stuff and will be working from home tomorrow. will try to stop by though when taking a work break.

MOPS stands for Mothers of PreSchoolers and it's a ministry for young moms at a lot of churches. I used to be very involved and even in charge for a few years, but my girls are bigger now, so I'm done. However, I sometimes help out by taking care of the kiddos. This morning, I taught a bunch of two-year olds. It was fun!

Sorry I have been a MIA Focker. Too much lately! Went to Myrtle last weekend---lots of rain but still fun...lots and lots of . I was really proud of her--will try and post some pics when I get them downloaded. She has been practicing everyday so I've been on the go.

Not much going on here. We're planning to meet my friend with the girl twins for a bit at the gym - her older son has lacrosse practice, and the kids have been missing each other (they are in the next town over, so they don't go to school together.)

It's sunny, but kind of chilly again.

We are still examining boat options. D talked to his "big boss" who has a ginormous boat, and sadly now we have more thoughts and options, rather than less. We are not decisive people - this is hard!

Well... I think I'm going to try to get something done with my morning, before it's afternoon.

What???

We got to the airport this morning to fly out and were supposed to leave out at 8:30 to Houston, and then on to Orlando. The plane at the gate next to us was going to Austin. All of a sudden, there's this announcement that our flight is cancelled and they're giving our plane to the austin flight because their plane had had electrical issues.



They said they didn't even have a plane for us and didn't know how they were getting us to Houston.

Well, I only had barely an hour layover in Houston. So, I went to the desk and asked how I was getting to Orlando.

Long story short...they didn't know. So, I squeezed only the only available option,..the Austin flight. And I will be flying from Austin to Orlando in about 4 hours. So, I'm playing here and entertaining myself.

AND, this jacks with my T-Rex ressie this evening as we get in much later, and won't be able to go eat anywhere.

Yuck. And I needed to vent.

BUT...later on this evening...we'll be in Disney!!!

OMG that is horrible about the flights. I wouldn't know how to handle that situation with Bill and his medical issues. I guess that is why he only wants direct flights, but I know sometimes that isn't possible.

I hope it all works out with the timing, have a great time when you get there.

The ex and I had 2 boats pre kids. We had a smaller one at first with the little seating area at the front. While we liked it a lot we ended up selling it and getting a bigger one with a cuddy cabin. After we had taken it out a few times we were so disappointed we sold our smaller one for a biger one. We lost seating and while having the little bed area for changing and a bathroom we still wished we hadn't gotten rid of the smaller one. Just my two cents there. LOL

Well, I am off to do some laundry, clean a bit and get ready for my cousin's bridal shower.

The kids are with the ex, they went with him last night because he got an earlier flight in. So that meant I got to sleep in this morning. The only bad thing is he is texting me with every little thing they are doing. I don't care that they aren't changing rooms. I don't care that he is taking DR to get his hair cut. I don't care that he is taking them to Cablea's. I don't care that he is taking them to the movies. All morning he's been texting me with this crap. Thank goodness they are in a movie now and I won't be getting any for a while. LOL I almost wish he had brought the girlfriend with him so I wouldn't be getting so many freaking texts!!!

That seriously stinks! But on the brighter side, your not missing much at T-Rex aside from a headache. Save your money, spend your time walking through the T-Rex shop (really cool build a dino) and then go eat at earl of sandwich. Just as good, if not better food IMHO

Hi Everyone Just a quick drive by. Went to Jim's eye doctor appointment, then to Wally World for a car booster for Jimmy (for Jim's dad's car - he's going to be picking Jimmy up a couple of nights a week until Jim is doen softball) and a new bed for Tinkerbell. Jim's fishtank has Ick Jim and jimmy have run to blockbuster and then I am off to Kohl's to look for a caouple of pairs of school pants for Jimmy. He went through the knees to 2 pairs this week Starting on May 1st they can start wearing shorts, but you never know if it will be warm enough so I want to have some back up pairs just in case.

Jen - Hope you get to Orlando soon!
