i know, some of those hotels were scary!!! we're only staying 3 nights, so i booked a nice hotel beachfront. it's a little pricey at 240/night. however, i would rather pay more than risk getting a nasty hotel room!!! oh and i tried to book through expedia, hotels.com, travelocity. i chekced out the hotel site before i booked and it was actually cheaper to book through the hotel. i thought those sites were supposed to save money. when is your spring break??

Unless you are a doing a Name your own price ... You can do better MOST OF THE TIME... going directly to the "site" That goes for cars and rooms.. and sometimes tickets for planes.I looked at the hotel you booked.. it does look nice... I have this rooms need to be closer to 100.00 than 200.00 theory I work with... That's why I never make it to the Deluxe rooms. Was all set to upgrade to a Moderate... but wound up staying offsite in June.. ( no Disney ) and OKW In August with points.

Our Spring Break is ALWAYS at Easter... so I am looking at Good Friday-Tuesday... or maybe Sunday-Thursday.. a lot will depend on Flight tickets and Hotel Rates... It will be a LAST MINUTE Thing if I go at all.

So, my neighbor won't stop driving on my lawn. We've politely asked him to stop. He works the night shift, so under cover of darkness, he pulls up onto our front lawn to park his car catty-wampus in his driveway. He's ruining my lawn. I've got tire marks that go about 6 feet up and start halfway across my front yard. I just called the utility company to have them come mark the lines and I've decided to plant a big ol' tree right in his way. That will show him

My Dad fixed the mailman from ruining through our outer yard this way... Barbed wire fence.. Hey It's a Thought.. he won't see it till it's too late.. and it's on YOUR PROPERTY ... His car gets all scratched up...

Thanks, Katt. My problem is that we have a boat load of restrictions in the neighborhood...the very restrictions that are supposed to keep said "nutwings" from parking on the grass. I can't do much out front without permission from the HOA. So while the barbed wire is mighty tempting...I'd be the one to get fined

They(The View) are in Walt Disney Studios in DL for the week. Woopie just got a tour of the Disney warehouse. Wow! the CM had to wear white gloves just opening the original Cinderella book! the stuff in there was amazing! Robert Iger was also on. and they unveiled Barbwa Wawas Disney Legend handprints. John Lasseter was also on. the new Pixar movie Up! looks great!!!

Poor Nana has been trying to pick up the slack and finally went on strike last night. I have to go in to work for a couple of hours tonight and I am not looking forward to it. I haven't even got to preschool this week for my student teaching.

Sarabeth had a program where the 4th and 5th grade did a concert together... I WAS A FIASCO... the Teacher was not prepared... and it showed in the kids. True there were a couple of snow days, and some state Testing.. but he should have started earlier.. the WORSE presentation I have ever seen and I have been looking at them for 8 years straight. It's his first year as Music teacher but he has done other subjects... Maybe I should have applied for the job, But kids are so disrespectful today, and I can not stand the Principal so it would NOT have worked.

I feel so bad for the kids when this happens!

Morning. I'm starting this lovely Wed. fighting off a massive migraine. I'm teetering on the edge of insane pain... not quite there, but it could go over the ledge at any time. Yes, I'm at work - just dosed with my Miracle Combo of a Sudafed, 2 ibuprofen and a little Pepsi... here's hoping it does the trick.

Poor Nana has been trying to pick up the slack and finally went on strike last night. I have to go in to work for a couple of hours tonight and I am not looking forward to it. Good afternoon, I actually got to take a lunch today. Jim and Jimmy are Seussical the Musical and I am waiting to hear how it went. They should be back at school in about 15 minutes or so.

I finally have a computer back so now I need to play catch up! Any of Kristal's updates around?

My computer went down yesterday morning and I was able to get my dad's work laptop to work and I'm happy to have internet back. I can only do so much on my cell phone. LOL

Not much is going on here. DR and I are about to walk and pick Linds up from school. It was rainy and sort of warm this morning but has since gotten colder. YUCK! I did notice our lilac bush in the back yard was starting to get some green leaves. YAY! Spring is coming.

Hi everyone!

Just a quick drive-by. I'm at the office. Jenny is home with the girls. She seems to have accomplished the task with the hair combing that's been eluding me the last two days. Thank goodness! I'm not real sure how "sick" DD9 really was this morning, but we weren't in the mood to fight it this morning as Jenny was staying home anyway.

DS6 had an extra special adventure in after-care yesterday. He landed hard on something and had a gash on his leg. After a visit to the doc, Jenny continued on with him to the ped. ER for some stitches. He's doing fine but required some neosporin and redressing this morning before school. I made 6:30 run to Walmart to pick up the stuff since it turned out we were out. As you can tell, it was quite the morning.

I spent most of the morning just trying to figure out what I'd missed the last two days and have tried to do some of it this afternoon. Now, I've got a bit of head-ache, so I've been taking a quick break while the ibuprofen kicks-in.

Awesome. My kids have lost about 5 teeth between them, and they've all just basically fallen out. Buzz's one under the permanent tooth that we went to the dentist for last week STILL isn't out, but when I called Monday, they said we didn't have to have it pulled - only call if it starts to look "pink". It makes me a little nervous since the person we saw on Tuesday last week said it needed to come out ASAP, but the receptionist talked to the dentist (that was an equivalent to a nurse practitioner last week) and so I guess she knows what she's talking about.

I think the bus just pulled up, and we need to go in 5 to get to the boys' yoga, so I will sign off again for now! Have a good rest of the afternoon. I'll be back after they go to bed!

Hello All.

Day 2 of really bad back pain is in full swing. I was in tears most of yesterday with pinch nerve pains. These are new pains, added on top of the already annoying and ever present sciatica and herniated disk pains. JOY.

I mainly laid down all day, KC brought home dinner and took care of everything around the house, I was that bad off.

It was a 10 out of 10 pain yesterday, today it's about 7 1/2 -8 out of 10.

I can not wait to go to my disability hearing Monday!

We are planning a trip to IKEA Sunday, and have been writing down all our measurements in hopes of some new stuff coming home with us.

The only other good news I have is KC has been home really close to on time all week, after we chatted about how he needs to leave work at work after 7pm, he really took it to heart.

Golf for me again today and I won This was the return match of last week where we lost and unfortunatley they beat us by more than we beat them so they win over all. But they were last years champions and have won the competition 3 times before and they haven't been beaten in a long time and we beat them Oh and this was our first year so we've done well!!!

I now have a killer sore throat though and even haggen dazs didn't get rid of it
