Okay Fockers, I need some WDW help....

I'm working on Dec. I HATE planning this far out. But if I even *think* I might want to eat at Le Cell, I need to decide before that 180 mark hits, right?

Here's the dealio - we'll only be there 2 nights, 3 days. And we'll need to leave early enough on Day 3 that it can't be used for any evening activities. That leaves but 2 nights for a nice dinner and/or late holiday stuff.

It gets worse - BOTH nights are EMH days for MGM. One is a morning EMH, with the park closing at 8pm, crowd level of 6. The other is an evening EMH, park's nromal closing time is 8pm, crowd level of 4. I can't decide which will be less congested. Any thoughts?

Also note that MVMCP takes place on the night of MGM's EMH evening. That could pull crowds... or make more people use the EMH at MGM if they can't be at MK.

I also can't decide how important Spectro/Wishes are. We like them, but we frankly prefer Wishes from the Poly, and Spectro isn't a holiday-must. Remember, this trip is all about the holidays.

And when the heck do I get a nice, TS meal in all this?! Or a chance to hang at AKV?

Ugh.

V, are you talking Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday mid-day departure?

Nope - Sat. morning arrival (9-10ish), Mon departure (darn - we'll either need to leave before or after rush hour... maybe 7ish? Now you've got me thinking - perhaps a parting dinner before hitting the road.... :idea: )

Sunday night...MGM/DHS for lights. Sleep in (ish) and hang at AKV in the morning. Head to Epcot for a nice meal before getting back on I-4.

LOL, that's pretty much just what I tried out on my spread sheet!

OR, we could hit MGM/Osborn Lights Day 3 and leave after seeing the lights... if I'm willing to stay till 7pm anyway... Leo stays up later these days anyway - surely bed at 9:30 won't kill him for a night, right?

That would work too. Maybe the ADR will make the decision for you. Is Gramma going? Did I tell you we're going with my in-laws in October? :eek: Yup, the very grandfather that took #3 by the hand and walked off Waldo-style. Should be a good time ;)

Could always change him into jammies in the family center of which ever park you are at, then if he falls asleep in the car its no big deal:thumbsup2

I forgot - someone asked about any good TRs we've found? I'm LOVING

Come join me!
I'll check them out, thanks!

okay all the talk of motrin reminded me of a funny (well it's funny now) story... it's a CE type story , pretty long......................................
Oh your poor DH :rotfl2:

But did you talk about Disney:rolleyes1
I brought it up but he's never been :sad2: I did lend my friend over the road my UG today though :thumbsup2

Yup, here too, V. In fact, yesterday was a "practice" drill for a hurricane evacuation. All the police officers had to stand around all day and pretend they had switched the east bound lanes of the interstate to traveling westbound.
How often do they do that? Does it cause chaos?

A New Blind What ???:rotfl2: Golf partner.. that the only kind I play with.. that way I can yell.. Par, Eagle, all day long :lmao:
A new blind, you know that cover windows, I got a Roman blind!

I am jealous of all the hot weather you guys get, we are lucky when it gets to the 80's, it just doesn't feel like summer up here. :headache: And remember girls that I used to live in Virginia Beach so I can handle the heat.
Hi Lessa :wave2:

Ok Listen! I'm serious this time. I am LOSING WEIGHT!

Just ran on the treadmill for 30 mins. (god, it felt like 2 hours!!:faint: ) and then did many many crunches.
That's great Mel, you can do it :goodvibes

Jo - are you playing golf again?
Not today Mo no but I am tomorrow!

11 weeks from today in real time, Kelly and I leave for Fockerfest :yay: (but who's counting:rolleyes1 ) Oh and Sunday is the big reveal, SIL is having the family over for a b-day bar-b-q.
Wooohooo :woohoo:

I just got a headache reading this:headache:
Me too :rotfl:

So I went shopping for a new blind (window covering) and the first shop I went into had just what I was looking for in the right size and it was reduced from £52 ($104) to £26, then when it went through the till they charged me £15 :yay: :yay: :yay: I also put it up this afternoon, took the old curtain pole down, drilled the holes etc and David is really cross with me as I did it on my own, now he wouldn't have helped me but he would have made sure that the ladder that I was standing on at the top of the stairs (it was the landing window) didn't fall, whoops :rotfl2: I did tell him it was OK I didn't fall :rotfl2:

We've also been to the circus this evening which was a combination of very good and very bad :rotfl2: It has so far raised $4,000 for the school though so that's fantastic!

How's the healthy eating going Kat?

It's going well. I have kind of come to the conclusion that since we switched to the low fat stuff and the whole wheat stuff that a few bad-or-you things aren't as filled with guilt as I felt they were before.

kwym, i was showing my dh all the stuff i got from b&b, he's like, i don't have to smell all of them do i? men, just don't get it!!!

I get the same from KC..."They all smell alike to me".:confused3

!
Kat: :eek: Taco Bell??? I'm going to have to revoke KC's Latino card. :lmao:

I laughed so loud I had to tell KC why I was laughing (he's off today) and he was like "I still want a taco". Taco Bell was apparently closed. I prefer homemade stuff personally.

More power to ya! Getting motivated to get off my duff is the hard part for me! Good luck!!!!

I def think thats a great idea! You won't be tied down the rest of the days and since you already have a time to leave having an ADR before it won't be so scheduled.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well last night turns out Ricky came home with KC. I didn't know and was in shorts and my tye dyed Winnie the Pooh shirt, hair in a bun, looking lovely. LOL. We chit chatted till 4am and finally fell asleep. Then he got up early to go to work from here, and we passed out after he left. So today is the day of lazy for us both...tomorrow we'll accomplish something...maybe. ;)
He was genuinely cross with me because I could have killed myself if the ladder had slipped as I'd have not only fallen off of it but also down the flight of stairs too :rotfl2:
:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Joooooo...I'll hold your ladder for you next time. Jus give me a call! :lmao:
Evening all ! Well it was another stressful day with thw funeral lunch and all plus major problems at the site ! I am so glad I am off for 3 days this weekend even if I am on call Saturday!
Hey there Jo! I am just about to put up the last of dozens of plantation blinds in our house. My husband gets upset at me being up on the ladder too. One time he came in when I had the big heavy drill in my hand and told me he wanted strawberry shortcake for dinner. Luckily it was a new drill and I did not want to hurt it by 'accidentally' dropping it on his head. :lmao:
Bet your windows look loverly and now that they are covered you do not have to clean them. :rotfl:
Slightly Goofy
Hey fellow fockers. I lost you guys ans now have found my long lost family. yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :yay: :yay: :yay:
