Morning ladies. Today is our lazy day around the house day, so I figured I better stop in and read here for a few. Hugs to all who need them and you know who you are. Hugs to everyone else also, since I do not get on here much I owe lots of them.

We had a great day yesterday. My brother wimped out on the water park but made up for it with dinner. I did go by his house and grab my niece for the day. Her and Bug had a great time. We met up with my brother, his wife, and my nephew in the evening to go for Mexican. My brother took us to Mexican Town and we had a great dinner. He then took us to a bakery and the kids picked out some great and yummy things. Nana got Tres Leche but it was much wetter than what my brother makes and she just couldn't eat it.

Nana is moving more of her things today. While I do not want her to go, she is and just needs to get her stuff out. This weeks to clear out of the room is driving me nuts. I have plans for that room. She isn't taking her bed and I am setting it up in the little room for when she wants to stay over.

That is about it for our day. I do need to go out for a little bit and get some groceries for Bugs lunches. He wants to take a lunch tomorrow on his first day. It is hard to believe he is going to be in school full day this year.

Delta called from his mothers and he is sick. DH picked him up and took him to the doc in the box.... 3 HOURS AGO!!! Still waiting for the prognosis. I am guessing strep throat which is not fun in my house. It is so hard to get rid of because it just goes from child to child. Looks like tomorrow I will be sanitizing my house...

Oh no! Hope he feels better soon and that it doesn't spread to everyone else!

Hey everyone! I'm trying to keep up but its hard to focus...i know you all understand but i am reading along still. I'd be lost without you ladies!

So we had a really crappy few days! Last night around 10pm we decided to shake out the bed sheets on the bed. KC had a rash he didnt know where it came from and we wanted to make sure nothing was on the bed, or behind it. Low and friggin behold we had bugs.....not just bugs friggin bed bugs! Can you say super duper really disgusting!!!!!!!!! So we threw out the mattress and box spring, threw every piece of linen we own into laundry bags and cleaned like crazy. Apparently it wasn't us that had them, they came from the outlet that shares a wall with next door. Gross neighbors, thanks a lot.

We also ended up throwing out a suitcase, a dresser, lots of pillow (including a jack skellington one ) and a shoji screen that was our headboard. So today we put away all the laundry we spent all hours of the night doing, and cleaned some more. We duct taped the outlet and ordered a kit to kill them.

Tonight we went to IKEA and almost bought a bed, but decided it was too much $ and went to Target and got an air mattress for the time being. Now I search online for a labor day sale and hope it won't break the bank.

KC still is telling me he doesn't feel the same way. I told him I won't give up. We still need to sit down and discuss time and how much of it we will be staying here for, because I NEED to get on my feet before I move. Anyways. Thats the latest from here in depressing NY.

Tomorrow we are going to some parade or something. As long as i get some sleep tonight I will be fine.

Hi Fockers!

The kids have been up since 7AM. Why is it on school days they refuse to get up but it's perfectly fine on a day off? Comcast OnDemand is offering a free Disney movie weekend so they kids have already watched 101 Dalmations and are now watching Mary Poppins. They are offering these for free this weekend and I'm really tempted to call and get the package deal for each month. It's $5.99/month but then you get unlimited access to the movies. Ehhh...we'll see...

The kids and I were supposed to meet up with a friend from HS and her husband this evening to go to a county fair but since it's raining I think those plans are nixed. Plus, the kids have school tomorrow and I don't want to be out too late with the kids. So it looks like we are going to my cousin's house for a cookout and to celebrate my grandma's birthday.

Yikes Kat I've heard of bed bugs but never experienced them. Are they easy to get rid of?

Apparently not. But the kit we ordered will do it. $60 later that is.

To add insult to injury KC & I are both sick, sore throats and fever. The air mattress is not so comphy but better than the floor. We had plans but we are going to stay here and sleep instead. I just dropped $600 on a new bed too- that hurt. Delivery is thursday. I also ordered the bed bug bags for the bed, so we wont have to be scared of them coming back. So gross and so annoying. I can't wait to get a decent nights sleep again.

Anyways Happy Labor Day all...hope its a fun one!

So after much thought and pricing and deciding what to do we've decided to stay off site. It's very close to Disney though, near Downtown Disney and Old Key West.
S'late had told me about the resort http://www.regalsunresort.com/awhile back and it looks really nice and they had a special going on so we went with it. The best part, it was cheaper than what I could get from Disney AND for 2 nights instead of 1.

So now it's just a matter of waiting and getting there.

First day back at school for Jess, it was so weird that both girls left at 7.20am and didn't return to 4.40pm So quiet, it didn't last when they got home though D and I had a great day though, we went for a huge walk along the river into town where we did a little shopping, we then fixed the trellis in our garden which came down about a month ago, then we went and did some putting and chipping. I have a competition tomorrow, the first one for 1.5 months, I pity my partner

Happy Labor Day Fockers!

Hope you all had the great weather we did here in the Northeast.

I'm getting all ready to leave on Saturday, pretty much packed and bought my Seaworld tix online as it is cheaper. I have the free Universal tix from the Super Bowl promotion, and of course my WDW AP, so I'm all set for tix.

Namath's blood work came back and does show early sign of kidney failure. The vet said we caught it at the optimum time and we are putting him on a prescription diet (I picked it up Sat and started switching it slowly yesterday, he doesn't seem to like it though, he picks the old kibble and eats that first, eventually eating the new)

Vet has seen a lot of success with this diet so fingers and paws are crossed. We will do more blood work in 4 weeks.


Murph got her plane tix for Thanksgiving, I just need to get her the MVMCP tix and order her park tix. I think we are all set for that then. We will be having Thanksgiving dinner at Brown Derby and are having the CP dinner package at Biergarten. We also have ADR's at Chef de France one night and LTT the night of MVMCP. (and of course a puffy goodness ADR)

I'm off to walk the pugs and enjoy the last bit of the long weekend.

Hopefully the week will go fast and Saturday will be here before I know it!

Hi Everyone!! School starts tomorrow !!!!! They will go 4 days and then are off to Disney !! Judy finally smartened up and has strated packing! I know she is gonna be glad Thursday and fridayi !! I guess my nagging finally sunk in!!!

Sounds like a lovely day! Tomorrow is Gus and Sd's first day. They both get out early though. I think 11 am?
I'm going to the gym tomorrow. I'm going to try to be there 4 days a week. My goal was 3 days a week, but then Dr. Seigle did the needling last week! Grrr. I'm upping it to 4 days and then my plan is to start Weight Watchers again when I get home from WDW.
I won't be able to go to the gym for a while (surgery!) but I can certainly start eating right.

A great weekend here. Except for the washer and having to go to the laundramat. That wasn't TOO awful.

Missed you all so much, but now we're getting ready to start a movie. The first three days of school went well. The wedding was a blast, but the sheer amount of family got to be overwhelming at times. I nearly bought a new car in IL and still think I maybe should have, but didn't...

D is out Wed-Friday, and I should be able to really catch up. Possibly even tomorrow, as he's going to the office and I have to sit around for the annual boiler tune up, anyway.

It's going to take a very long time for me to catch up on TR's, but I'll get there.

Kat, not sure what I've missed, but . Janet, hope you are doing better.

Recap time!

JO says Ells had a sleepover on Sat. evening and then wasn’t feeling the music in her the next morning at church. Jo let her sleep it off. Today she and David had a wonderful day to themselves while the girls were at school.

I’m glad you got some time together. That had to feel nice.

MEL’s washer broke. The boys start school tomorrow… if Mel can get them up at 6AM.

JANET checked in. She said she should be back soon on a regular basis. Jimmy started 1st grade on Monday. She is happy for that.

DEB is sanitizing and will continue until her kids stop passing around the sickies. 1 of the kids may have Strep.

Is there ever a time of year without colds and strep? It seems like every parent is dealing with a lot of that all year-round now. I hope it is not strep and that Delta gets well soon.

KAT found bed bugs in their bed. They have had to throw out a bunch of things. She is looking for a new bed but doesn’t want to spend too much. She ended up spending $600! They were using an air bed in the meantime. KC is still saying his heart is in the relationship anymore. Kat is going to keep talking to him.

Dang! When it rains it pours. As if you didn’t have enough going on. I do hope you can get rid of them. Big hugs!!!

Dreamn went to the water park and ate some Mexican food with the family. Her nana is taking a little too long to get her things moved out.

LORI has been watching Disney movies with the kids. The fair got rained out. They were going to celebrate her grandma’s b-day at her cousin’s place.

Z found an off-site resort to stay at for 2 nights. It is the Regal Sun.



MO will leave on Saturday for Sea World and US. She is getting all of Murph’s tix for their Thanksgiving trip. Namath has to go on a special diet because he is in the early stages of kidney failure. The vet says that the diet has been a successful treatment.

I hope you have a great trip. Good thoughts for little Namath.

Oops Almost forgot !! Latest DRAMA !! Picked Steph and Sammi up from Cheerleading last night !! Steph tripped over the curb and flew thru the air badly scrapeing her knew and hands !! So the ride home was full of tears and DRAMA! Steph is Wimp when it comes to cleaning up wounds soooo more DRAMA. Finally got the wounds clean and Bandaids on ....When she discovered she had damged her cell phone in the Fall !! OMG tht was True Drama ATeen with a broken cell is Life Threatening
So Rosie's Drama free days were over !!!

We had a nice weekend, but I'm also kind of glad to feel that we might finally be getting back to a good routine (even though I am not loving the alarm clock...)

I'm going to share some wedding pictures - since D was in the wedding, I had the camera, and oddly, no one seems to have any pictures of me. (Gee, the SIL of the groom isn't that important? ) The photographers for the wedding were the "journalistic" rather than the "formal" style, and I kept catching them taking pictures of me, but I haven't seen those yet.

Keeping in mind the shape of my face, do we think I could pull this off? I have a haircut appointment tomorrow, and though the blow out at the wedding looked good, I am unhappy in general with the length of my hair right now. I could wait and grow it out some more, or do something like this...

The point of the article is having a haircut, then different things you can do with 2 minutes, 5 minutes, or 20 minutes, so you'd need to look at pages 2-6 to see the different stuff. I particularly like the 5 and 20 minute deals, which seem reasonable - IF it would really work. And I'm nervous that my face is too fat for it. But I think it's so cool!

CE, I really like the 20 minutes. All the hairstyles seem so easy, but when I try, not so much. My hair is a little longer than shoulder length and I'm at the same stage. I want it longer, I think, but I'm not liking the length it is now, and I'm trying to not put it up all the time.

We are getting new plumbing pipes today and the guys just showed up. Of course we have been ready since 8 thinking they would be here earlier. Thank goodness M waited with me. Now they are saying we owe them 80% today when the guy that gave us the estimate said we could pay when they are finished in 3 days. Not that I don't want to pay,but apparently one didn't communicate to two! But I'll be here all day with no water so hopefully someone will be here with me.

The boiler guy came, but just as D was prepping to get in the shower. We temporarily don't have water (at least not hot) and D's feeling anxious to get down to the office - he needs to prep for his South American trip tomorrow. Yikes.

I went shopping yesterday and got Buzz some jeans that wound up too big in the waist. I need to return them, and I also stopped by Target to pick up two prescriptions, paid for both, but they called that I apparently left one of them sitting on the counter. I need to shower before I go do those things, though, and I need to let D go first, so I'm just hanging for now!

Morning girls!

I managed to get BOTH boys out of bed and on the bus by 7 am. No small feat, let me assure you. Poor Gus had a tummy ache and was in the potty till 6:58am!!!! Sheesh.

I went back to snuggle with Bob, and ended up falling asleep again. That's really bad because I wanted to be at the gym by 8. Oh well. I got there by 9:30 and did 30 mins on the elliptical. Yay me! Showered and now I'm sipping a Soy Sugar Free Hazelnut Latte. Yum. Gotta grab the kiddos in about 5 mins. They only had a 1/2 day today.

CE: you'd look adorable with the cut. Your face isn't fat.
Angela: Glad Mooch is with you.
