Good morning. :surfweb: enjoying my coffee and quiet time before Zeta or Tau wakes up.

Good morning!

The good news is Omicron got the last game ball and the coach called him the most improved player of the year. I cried :sad1:

Good for him!

Sounds great CE and I bet the boys enjoyed being up late!

They did, but they were asleep within 5 minutes of getting into the car (and it was about a 45 minute drive the rest of the way home.) So, they weren't technically up THAT late, but I thought for a few minutes that Woody was going to fall asleep in his plate of food! :rotfl:

've been to the European Open again, we stayed about 4 hours as that was enough for the girls. They were both lucky enough to be given a ball by the players so they liked that and then went on to stalk every player as they came off the green

Nice! I just asked you on FB, but the tournament is on for the next few hours on one of my cable channels. If I watched it, would I see you? :goodvibes I need a Jo fix.

Not much else going on just doing yet more laundry!!!

I'm doing laundry, too.

One of the things I CAN do before my cousin comes is get all the spare sheets washed up, etc. I also need to dig out the Pack & Play and sheets, and make sure that's good. I know the baby is eating cereal and stuff - she'll be 6 months old tomorrow - but was apparently really, um, hungry. :rotfl: I need to ask Anne if she wants the high chair brought upstairs, too. I kept this stuff on purpose because of her visits and my DBIL (who's getting married in August, so I hope to have nieces or nephews coming along...) but in the basement, it doesn't exactly stay "clean" if YKWIM.

D has decided he needs to leave to work on his presentation - with the kids home, I totally agree - and he's in the shower. The kids are outside. They are counting on some rain, so that they can be outside for a while, then play the Wii when it rains. :rotfl:

Woody was excited about the idea of the gardening, so we'll see what the weather really does. ;)

BBL!

I'm trying to get outside to pull grass and weeds out of the garden, but I can't find my socks. :sad2: Why not just wear Crocs, you are probably asking....because I don't want the ants to crawl in the holes. LOL

Looks like you all had fun, Janet. :thumbsup2 We're going to a Braves game next month when we're in Atlanta and instead of rain, I'm sure we'll have heat.

Cool! We went to a Rays minor league game once at WWOS once in August :faint: It was hot!

Dude, I FB'd pics!

Will have to check it out!

So I'll see you next week guys!! don't be too chatty! :sail:

I missed you but I will send you some pixie dust for a fabulous trip!:wizard:

Hey guys! I'm back!

Welcome Back. Glad you had fun. Can't wait to read all about it!

The trip was great! Had so much fun! I can't wait to sort through all my pictures and video and share it with you all.

So how many pistures did you takepopcorn::

We went to see Up today for DS12's B-day. OMG! I have a DS12. :scared1:

WHat did you think of it?

May2009154.jpg

So cool!

Good evening everybody!!!!!

Hi Kristel. Thanks for the update. You got alot done with they yard. Pictures?

Welcome back, Lessa!
Busy day today-my cousin's kids are having their first communion, and then I'm working until 9.

Have fun.

Janet, I'm sorry, I don't know if I can be your friend anymore, if you didn't like that movie. :rotfl: The game looked like great fun! We may have to come see you (and a game.)

:sad1:

So, Kristel - don't wait. Janet's just nuts. :rolleyes1 T & I are right... (love ya, Janet!

Hey!;)

We finished our last two tball games yesterday (lost both) and had our end of year party. The coach and his family didn't come because his wife got into it with the mom who was hosting the party and said they were NOT coming to her house. Real grown up huh? I didn't realize this until we were at the party but I feel like a dofus because during the game i was telling all the boys how excited I was about the party and how much fun we were going to have bla bla bla. Well, the coach's son was there and he didn't get to come. I hate ball drama. Even if he didn't want to come he should have at least let his son come. I wonder what they told him?

That's just rotten for the kid!

The good news is Omicron got the last game ball and the coach called him the most improved player of the year.

WTG Omicron:cheer2:

It's fine Janet!

Thanks Jo!

We've been to the European Open again, we stayed about 4 hours as that was enough for the girls. They were both lucky enough to be given a ball by the players so they liked that and then went on to stalk every player as they came off the green :rotfl2: They're now in various pools, Jess and her friend in ours and Ellie was in ours with her friends but has now gone next door to theirs.

They lasted about 3.5 hours more than I would have:rotfl2:

Woody was excited about the idea of the gardening, so we'll see what the weather really does.

Jim and Jimmy are going out to weed too!

because I don't want the ants to crawl in the holes. LOL

That is perfectly logical to me ::yes::

-------------------------------

Afternoon all! Busy morning. Got up and went to the grocery store. I went to a store that I don't normally go to, but they were having a 20th anniversary celebration and Jim worked there when he was in high school so he wanted to go. I may have to reconsider going there though. Their prices were phenomenal (even the non-sale prices):thumbsup2

Now I am going to grab something to eat, straighten up the kitchen (empty dishewasher, etc) and in between do laundry. Tonight we are throwing burgers and dogs on the grill for dinner, so that will be nice and easy.

Another busy week for us coming up too. Monday Jim has his first playoff game (And its not supposed to rain:cheer2:) Wednesday is Jimmy's class trip to the aquarium, and then Saturday we have Tball at 10:00, our block party starts at noon and JImmy has a birthday party 1 -3 :faint: I took Friday off becasue the after school program is closed, so I have to pick him up after school. I will use that day to shop and get ready for the block party!

Have a good day everyone. Chat with you later!

Makes sense, I suppose! However, you can't find ANY of your socks, or a particular pair? Or do you only have one, because you mostly live in flip-flops? ;)

You know I love you...

Sounds good to me! Hmmm... I have some chicken breasts that I could throw on... We did burgers sometime during the week.

Hi Fockers, gorgeous day in Jersey, trying to be outside as much as I can.

Scanned this page quickly and another good off site at DL is Candy Cane Inn,, don't let the name fool you, very clean, great free breakfast, walk is quick to the parks and they also offer a free shuttle. They also have a 7-11 and an ABC mart next door, making it easy to quick snacks, etc.

Love the wedding cake.

Welcome back Lessa!

Jo- Susan Boyle didn't win? who did?

I forgot to mention - one of the previews from Up had all these kids singing and dancing, so I looked at D and said, "They're not re-making Fame, are they?:scared1:"

The answer is, yes, they are. www.generationfame.com

:sad2:

Defnitely NOT a movie that should be remade:sad2:

BTW the CE...the Red Sox will be in town on June 12th, 13th, and 14th. THe Cards will be in town July 24th, 25th, and 26th...Hint, hint, hint!;)

I didn't know you'd posted  And I don't think we were on TV today, the camera was on us a little on Thursday though and you're too sweet  So you have more guests coming? How long for?

They lasted about 3.5 hours more than I would have:rotfl2:
Hey :rotfl2: Actually you'd have liked it it was a beautiful sunny day :rotfl2:

A dance group called Diversity, I linked to them on youtube a few posts back, they're very good :thumbsup2

I saw that too, love the music :rotfl2:

Why can kids never find stuff and we find it straight away? :headache::rotfl2:

Hmmm. Well. We're still in school and baseball when the Sox will be there, and the Cards week is our week at the lake for FIL's birthday. Darn! :headache:

I didn't know you'd posted  And I don't think we were on TV today, the camera was on us a little on Thursday though and you're too sweet  So you have more guests coming? How long for?

Dang!

My cousin is coming up from Maryland; her DH's niece is graduating from college near us. They're just staying Friday and Saturday, but I'm most excited because she's the one who had her baby the day after we left from Thanksgiving, and I've not met the baby yet. :cloud9:

I saw that too, love the music

I started hearing the "ba-ba-ba" bass line and was like, "Oh, boy." :rotfl:

Why can kids never find stuff and we find it straight away? :headache::rotfl2:

In my case, it's because the kids look for everything straight ahead at eye level. :sad2: No joke, it could be lying at their feet, and they'd never look down. :rotfl2:

Who lost something?

Hey :rotfl2: Actually you'd have liked it it was a beautiful sunny day :rotfl2:

Well, I could have quietly read a book;)

Why can kids never find stuff and we find it straight away? :headache::rotfl2:

Becasue they want to drive us crazy when we find something that is plain sight:confused3;):lmao:

Hmmm. Well. We're still in school and baseball when the Sox will be there, and the Cards week is our week at the lake for FIL's birthday. Darn! :headache:

Oh shoot! Maybe next season...or maybe we will bring Jimmy up for a Red Sox game;) Since we have gone to the game it is all he is talking about and wants to know when we can go back. We are thinking we may try to get tickets for a game in July sometime. After he is done camp, but before we go to WDW.

hey guys! I read and skimmed, but my brain is too fried to remember or quote. oh ya...

dawn- i was gonna say something about the DVC. unfortunately i cant remember...:confused3

I went home friday night so that saturday i could be there to help make/try on my bridesmaid dress. They are pretty cute purple bubble dresses with a blue sash. Unfortunately i need to find silver shoes now, and i had just bought a dress and blue shoes to wear. :headache: oh no...what will i ever do with a pretty new dress just sitting in my closet...:rolleyes1

i took the train home last night so that i could be home and study for this next week and finals. :scared: My mind is about to explode from their being too many darn mice and rats in california, and they all look the same!:headache:

i guess i should go continue my mind melting. But it was good to sleep in for once in several weeks. I cant wait for school to end! or at least finals week to get here.

Quiet day around here...

The good news is Omicron got the last game ball and the coach called him the most improved player of the year. I cried :sad1:

:thumbsup2 WTG Omicron! Sorry about the whole party thing though. That was so silly of them. Can you take pics of your Tink bags and post, please? It's always fun to see what special little things that little fairy is bringing the kids.

Not much else going on just doing yet more laundry!!!

The Open sounds fun. :rotfl: to the girls and the stalking and now the pool. I'm trying to get some laundry done as well. I have the pile almost done that was in the laundry room but I now need to work on the kids clothes. UGH...its never ending!

I would never have thought to hang onto any of my baby stuff for people who come to visit. Of course most of my family lives around here so that's probably why as well.

I'm trying to get outside to pull grass and weeds out of the garden, but I can't find my socks. :sad2: Why not just wear Crocs, you are probably asking....because I don't want the ants to crawl in the holes. LOL

:rotfl:

*******************************************************

We haven't done much today. Linds went to church with my dad this morning. My aunt stopped by to pick up some things for a golf game she's doing at work. I've been doing laundry and now the kids are playing outside.

Can you believe tomorrow is going to be the 1st of June?!?! This year has already seem to fly by.

Hope everyone is having a good day so far!

Hi Fockers, gorgeous day in Jersey, trying to be outside as much as I can.

 Hi Mo!

:rotfl2:

I think I read about this on some gossip site last week. I seriously don't remember it though. :confused3

The dress sounds really pretty and good luck with finals! :thumbsup2

Hiya Fockers!! :wave2:

Long time no see!!! Been super busy with the (semi) move, etc...so I haven't been on TFW thread in....well, OMG...I can't remember!

But I wanted to swing by and say hi to everyone!! I don't even dare try and catch up!

Hope you're all well!!:grouphug:

Hey guys! So busy day today...

Woke up around 9 feeling super yucky, downed some Advil Cold and Sinus and I am feeling much better, my voice is even starting to sound somewhat normal which is good as I picked up a shift at work tomorrow.

Alek came over in the morning and we hooked the camera up to the tv and showed Erich and Alek all of our vacation photos. The count right now is at 3929, those are just my pictures. I haven't touched mom's camera yet and the photopass pictures are still being worked on.

We also went out to lunch, we are still in vacation mode and didn't feel like cooking. :lmao:

When we came home Erich looked out into the backyard and exclaimed that our patio table was broken. Sure enough it was completely shattered! A brief but strong wind storm came through and just shattered it. We had debris all over the yard. Crazy!

I just started a new thread for my trip report, here's the link:

The Sea Witch Stole My Voice! Our Two Week Land and Sea Adventure

Hope to see you all there!

Hiya Fockers!! :wave2:

Be right there!

Hello Fockers!
I'm keeping up pretty good this weekend.

HEDY is going to her cousin’s kids 1st communion. How'd they do?

CE had baseball and boating. She was up until 1AM watching DVR programs. She is preparing for the visit from her cousin and her baby this next weekend. She says they are remaking ‘Fame’. Yay on the boating. The last movie we went to they advertised the new ‘Fame’. I liked it when I was that age. Can't see me getting into it now.

DEB finished up T-ball. Omicron is a star player! They had a “It’s over” party and the coaches wife didn’t like the hostess so the coach and son weren’t there. She made Tink bags today and is going to see “UP”. Yes do show us some pictures of the bags. for Omicron!!!! So what did you think of the movie?

JO’s girls are ball stalkers! Kids don’t find stuff ‘cause you’re the mom.:rotfl:

SLATE has no socks and doesn’t like ants in her Crocs! :lmao: You gave me the first big laugh of my day, friend!

JANET went to the grocery store. This store was having an anniversary. Jim used to work there. They had some great buys so Janet plans on going back. Mon. is Jim’s 1st play off game. Jimmy has a class trip Wed. She has to get ready for a block party this weekend. She wants to see some baseball in June and July. On the yard. I’ll wait until we have the patio in and then show you before and after shots. It’s all lumpy dirt right now. Doug and I had burgers on the grill and some home-grown asparagus too. It is the last of the asparagus.:sad1:

MO recommends Candy Cane Inn for a DL trip. Jo said a dance group named Diversity won ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Here’s the link she posted:Diversity

CEL BEL got fitted for the bridesmaid dress. She has to study for more finals. Best of luck. I can't believe how many finals you have!

LORI can’t believe it is going to be June! Crazy, isn't it! I'm kinda glad. My trip to WDW will be here in no time!!!!

LL stopped by. She has been very busy. Just look at my updates and jump in. Glad to see you!

LESSA has over 3,000 pictures from the land/sea adventure. :scared1: That’s not including her mom’s!:scared1: She started her TR. It is listed above in a previous post. I'm glad you seem to be feeling better!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I was in the yard all day again. I must have missed putting sunscreen on the back of my shoulders. They are a tad red. :scared: It doesn't hurt though. It was beautiful today. I guess we are in for some rain the next couple of days. I will work on the basement (man cave) if it does.

Have a good evening everyone!

I was in the yard all day again. I must have missed putting sunscreen on the back of my shoulders. They are a tad red. :scared: It doesn't hurt though.

That's good! Same thing happened to my thighs yesterday - more due to the baseball game, where I didn't bother with sunscreen, than the boat, where I did. :rotfl:

almost finished with a powerpoint im making to study off of. its extremely hard because i took blurry pictures of all the specimen and am now trying to match them to their name, but of course i forgot which is which, and it really hard to tell whats pale and pale-whitish, and light gray, versus gray-brown. :faint The big animals are easy. moose- duh! horse- duh! bison- duh! lynx- Duh! but out of 118 species about 50 are rodents no bigger than a rat!:squirrel: :surfweb:

This afternoon i went into the kitchen to find something to eat and realized that i had half of everything. cereal-no milk pasta sauce-no pasta meat- no bread and the list continues. So i went to the grocery store for the other half of my kitchen, and some veggies for potts. Then she got to run around the bedroom with the cats.:cat: Im sure the cats were nice... :rotfl: and hang out behind my computer.
